The best restaurants in Guildhall York Yorkshire and The Humber

Called in here just before Xmas - coffee was perfect! If you like your coffee, this is the place to go. We also sampled the fruit cake - equally delicious. I’ll definitely be visiting again.

Popped in for a quick lunch. Excellent pizzas, fresh ingredients, light & crispy base. Fast service. Would recommend for pizzas.

Excellent coffee. Good strong Americana served in a sensible sized cup and not drowned in a mug. I was in early so the cafe was quiet and the barista was wrestling with the coffee machine. Good to know that they know how to fix their own machines.

Had a meal from Blues when they were in the Brew York Beer Hall. Really nice and rather a large portion.

Pub hopping around this part of town my twinny Stephen and I decided to drop into this Greggs outlet and what a nice visit. This Greggs is good,a light and airy interior,a glass fronted serving bar showcases the goodies on offer and staff here are very pleasant. We ordered a couple of pizza slices each,absolutely delicious ,just what we needed to set us up for an afternoon of pub hopping and great value for money . This Greggs is easy to locate on St Sampsons Square and is definitely well worth seeking out if you're in the area.

Te encontramos accidentalmente hace un par de semanas en be & Q y el dulce langos era tan encantador. Como estábamos en Clifton Moor de nuevo, nos detuvimos para probar una versión salada. El halloumi langos era increíble y las coberturas eran tan frescas. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo, pero desafortunadamente vivimos fuera de York, así que no tienda a ir a Clifton Moor tan a menudo. Atmosphere is amazing and you get well looked after, all of the food speaks for itself and ifs a perfect example of true Neapolitan pizza. If you have any doubt on where to eat tonight let this reviews make your mind up. We will be travelling down from the NE to eat here again asap!

Amazing food delicious wine great service will definitely come back

Absolutely lovely little place! We went for breakfast on Sunday morning and my partner (who is coeliac) thought we would really struggle to find anything for him, however this wasn’t the case. The food was incredible as well as the drinks. (I had a Lavender frappe and loved it!) The staff were wonderful and knowledgeable. No negatives at all, we will definitely be back next time we visit York :)

So so good Been here countless times, mine and my partners favourite restaurant of all time ever anywhere. Perfect food perfect atmosphere👌🏻 never change!

Live Cheese in York is a dream for cheese lovers! We popped in after dinner since we skipped dessert and fancied a cheese board instead. We picked three cheeses and let our server choose the rest every single one was amazing! The quality was top notch, and the whole experience was super relaxed and enjoyable. So glad we stopped by definitely recommend!

We stumbled upon Block Pizza while walking through York city center, and it turned out to be a great find! The pizza was absolutely amazing, with fresh ingredients and a perfect crust. The service was excellent too, friendly and efficient. If you're in York and craving a great pizza, totally recommend this place! 🍕🔥
