Great tour of the York Chocolate Story. Our guide was Josh who was absolutely brilliant and very informative 👍 - ooh and lots of tasting and treats,even made our own white chocolate lollies. We can 100% recommend a visit. Also shout out to Kate in the shop who helped us with a query.😄.

Beautiful decor and the best food we’ve had in England. We had the Sheperd’s Pie, scallops, and the best dessert ever- a Chocolate caramel ice cream bombe. Everything was elegantly presented and delicious.

Really loved coming here and taking part in the quiz! All of the staff were very friendly and efficient. The outside area is so cute too especially when it’s sunny it’s lovely watching all the boats go past.

Personal amable. Me dio suficiente tiempo para elegir en el menú. La comida era buena. Los niños tenían ramen, que se veía bien. Tenía ramen de carne de res, y podría haber tenido un poco más de carne, aparte de ese lugar.

Went in to get out of the sun for a bit as you could sit by the big sliding windows so there was a nice breeze to cool off.Friendly service and had a medium glass of rosé wine.Good choice of draught beers and well situated near the shambles

The best music I’ve heard at a pub so far, and the prices for drinks/shots are amazing :) HIGHLY recommend

I absolutely love this place for fish n chips, I get haddock, which is like eating a steak, soo chunky and meaty EVERY time, the chips are equally as brilliant, I go nowhere else eva!!

I love St Johns I've never had a bad meal the garlic yogurt and Chili sauce are amazing

Great place for food if you like peri peri flavourings and chicken. It was only let down because they had run out of pudding

I live in York went into town shopping Stopped off here as we wanted a drink , come in a lot for food etc , Went inside to the bar and was told its table service only Ok not a problem but that was for outside , one problem no tables , looked inside there was plenty empty … one problem again Can only sit there if you order food I don’t know if this was because it’s Christmas Market month But what I do know is I won’t be giving you my custom in January or any other month now when trade goes quiet you need locals and tourists alike to keep your trade

Very disappointing food - the scampi and chips looked like a child’s portion that had been thrown onto the plate. The mushy peas came in a small white milk jug with a tablespoon amount strategically positioned at the front. BEWARE also false advertising on the steak out Wednesday and the food was cold. Would not return or recommend!
