Truly good quality cantonese cuisine. The roast duck was one of the best I’ve had. Cash only so be sure to bring enough cash with you. The price is very reasonable considering the generous portions.

Amazing breakfast with great coffee and variety of gluten free options.

I’m not quite sure what had happened but it seemed like there had been a meltdown at the place so possibly this is a one off? Waiter was very lovely and trying his best but something had clearly gone wrong. We waited 20 minutes for our food and drink order to be taken. Another 30 minutes waiting for the drink to arrive, it never did so we went to the bar to ask for them. Another 45 minutes after that the food still hadn’t arrived, no food had come out of the kitchen for any table in the past hour at this point. The table next to us had their food come out having arrived 45 minutes after us. We asked if our order was coming and they said they had lost the ticket. (Bear in mind when we ordered we were the only ones in the place) At this point we had a tour booked on the evening we needed to get too. So after 1 hour and a half spent sat down, we decided to leave, we asked if the pint and Pepsi could be on the house for the time we had wasted and never getting any food, however, this request was denied. Really disappointed by what had seemed a good place to visit based on reputation.

Lovely sandwich served by lovely staff

Quick and easy to place an order. And the delivery was very quick! Zohaib delivered the food very quick and was very friendly. Great service all round!

Exceptional food and service, could not fault, wine I asked for was a Rocha and superb, staff friendly.

My wife and I had a lovely tapas lunch here today. Everything was excellent. Would particularly recommend trying the sherry “flights”, which allow tasting of 3 different sherries. We also had dessert and the basque cheesecake was delightful. We had quite a few sherries and tea/coffee afterwards.

Dessert was lovely, as was the mocha. Board games are really fun to play whilst waiting or eating. Staff are amazing, they kindly let us order just as they were closing and let us eat in! Definitely recommend.

Went into York the last weekend and decided to eat at the ‘cut and craft.’ Ordered a Strawberry Mojito which was stunning and a chicken burger with chips it was incredible. Both me and my boyfriend ate every last bit. It was very expensive but our meals were worth it! 😋

Good food, friendly (well trained) staff. Great location to our hotel. Value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant.

£10 for a breakfast roll? £4 for a croissant? Am I missing something? I mean the coffee was fine but the abrupt man working there and the overpriced food just means I wouldn't go back if I was in York
