I didn't expect that you can still eat Hong Kong style food in York. The restaurant offers a lot of Hong Kong style snacks and food, such as dry fried beef noodles, pickled mustard greens, and braised rice with pork shreds. But the restaurant is most famous for its siu mei. Every Friday, you can have Friday limited roast meat. On other days, they also have roast duck and barbecued pork. If you like siu mei, you can't miss it. Siu Mei can be served with rice, rice noodles or rice noodles. The special thing about this rice noodles is that their texture is very rare. They don't absorb soup and are a more chewy type. If you are interested, I suggest you try it. In addition to siu mei, their Hong Kong style stir-fry is also very good. I especially recommend the pickled mustard greens and pork shreds. The rice is really delicious, and the iced lemon tea is also a good choice. Overall, the food quality is good, but the price is a little expensive compared to other Hong Kong style restaurants.
Stopped off here after a busy Day I ordered The Guy Falkes Sandwich (Beef Barbacoa), My partner Harry Trotter (Pulled Pork) The food was ok but way to Greasy ruined the Bread.

Restaurante absolutamente maravilloso. Definitivamente vale la pena otra visita
Stumbled across this gem as we walking into the city centre from the NCP carpark & our accommodation for the night.
Love vinyl so it was appealing from the off set.
We had a latte which was really good.
They had music playing & it gave the place a great atmosphere.
So the next morning we called in for a toastie & that did not let us down.
Didn't really look at the large selection of vinyl records as it was starting to fill up & we were pressed for time.
If I'm every back in York (I will be) then this will definitely (maybe) bet the place for a coffee & a quick bite.
A small garden to walk around if you have NT membership and a nice view of the house, perhaps to sit outside by the lawn and read a book (but for a few years now, no tours of/ entry into the house itself)
What a lovely independent cafe very friendly service food well presented and good quality.Have to say the toilet facilities were very clean.
All round good value and worth a visit .
I’m not quite sure what had happened but it seemed like there had been a meltdown at the place so possibly this is a one off?
Waiter was very lovely and trying his best but something had clearly gone wrong. We waited 20 minutes for our food and drink order to be taken. Another 30 minutes waiting for the drink to arrive, it never did so we went to the bar to ask for them. Another 45 minutes after that the food still hadn’t arrived, no food had come out of the kitchen for any table in the past hour at this point. The table next to us had their food come out having arrived 45 minutes after us. We asked if our order was coming and they said they had lost the ticket. (Bear in mind when we ordered we were the only ones in the place)
At this point we had a tour booked on the evening we needed to get too. So after 1 hour and a half spent sat down, we decided to leave, we asked if the pint and Pepsi could be on the house for the time we had wasted and never getting any food, however, this request was denied.
Really disappointed by what had seemed a good place to visit based on reputation.
