Nice friendly atmosphere. Two big greens available and a bar. Coaching available. Worth a look!

What a treat. Fantastic atmosphere, great coffee and even better food. I had a sandwich made fresh to order with local tasty ingredients, homemade carrot cake (the best I’ve ever had!!) and a freshly made coffee to wash it all down. The staff are so polite and welcoming. Get yourselves there for your breakfast or lunch and you won’t be disappointed!

I've been ordering from Papasito regularly for several years now and as a lifetime pizza lover, Papasito is the real deal. They make some of the tastiest pizzas with best ingredients I've ever had. Whenever I've dared to order from somewhere else, I immediately taste the difference. That alone would be impressive, but Papasito also has some of the fastest delivery times in the city. I don't know how they do it, but I consistently recieve my orders within only 20-30 minutes. Once I literally got my order in 15 minutes, and it came delicious and piping hot. In conclusion, I'll be continuing to order from here for years to come.

Super independent and local Chinese. We took our daughter as it’s very near to York uni. It says cash only, but they will take a bank transfer if you ask. We had beef in noodles, sweet and sour chicken, veg noodles, rice and spring rolls. All finished off with jasmine tea brought in very cute little teapots. Will def pop back again next time we’re up here.

We ate in for lunch after seeing how highly reviewed this place was. The staff member didn’t even say ‘Hi’ to us, his first words to us was ‘rice or beans?’. Plus, while we were sat down with our food, he was playing videos out loud on his phone for us all to hear. The food was greasy and tasted cheap and made us feel sick after it.

Another place infused in hype with not much to offer. The best part ( apart from the company) was the wine and isolated table. The menu is veiled in a fancy air but is nothing but dull. Partridge - I ve had better fried chicken at KFC! Monkfish ceviche perhaps second after the wine. The venison starter impressed me with the performance of containing a sauce which tastes like... nothing. ( I later found out it was a carrot puree). Mains - an overcooked white fish with a delicious yellow sauce, they said peppercorn, might have been a bit ill. And Mallard with fried and then baked onion. Genius! The cherry on top was us being asked to hurry up and free the table when we wanted to order dessert. I understand the spirit of greedy capitalism wanting to fill tables like in first stop shops, as quickly as possible, but at least that could have been mentioned in the booking and not dropped like a bomb to make the food get even more stuck in our throats. Sad. They just lost 2 potential future customers! We were asked to leave when we did not even stay 2 hours there.
