The food was absolutely fantastic. We had the house pho and it was so tasty! Thank you to chef, Lucy! Lovely atmosphere and helpful staff too.

The food was bad to be honest the only thing that was quite good was the replacement curry we got for the wok noodles which were flavourless like all the rest of the food we had. The waiter who was the manager was really understanding and got us replacements very fast which we appreciated a lot. However wouldn't come again sorry.

We had a lovely meal here, sharing some starters between 4 people. Everything tasted fresh and yummy, staff were very friendly as well!

Absolutely lovely staff and amazing food. I was feeling a little under the weather and came from Wakefield to York just for this pho, it did not disappoint. The food came out piping hot and was exactly what I needed. Cait in particular was so lovely, she was so warm and polite. I would absolutely recommend coming here. They have veggie options and the chicken is halal!

The menu was quite extensive, and a lot are GLUTEN FREE. I had green papaya salad, fresh and crunchy but not enough chilli or peanuts, altho if I had requested earlier the waitress said I could have had more. My friend had a curry, again quite tasty.

I had a tofu Vietnamese curry with cauliflower rice - tasty, not too hot. Kind of rustic bare wood layout which looks good, and good service.

Food was amazing, staff were attentive and gave advice on each dish we ordered. Was really impressed and would highly recommend. I would only suggest lowering the music just a touch, but for the rest we could not fault it. SUPER! Keep up the good work.

Pho, Rice bowl, chargrilled meats, chicken wings and morning glory. The staff clearly love Asian food and were knowledgeable about the dishes and ingredients. Both outdoor and indoor sitting area.

Nice cozy place to have a hot pho; fhe beef pho tastes better than the chicken pho; the meats were lean so they were a bit chewy; take the pho instead of the rice bowl

What a place and what service, served by Kate and Manika, both wonderful and really took care of us. I'm definitely an awkward eater due to intolerances and they worked with the kitchen to make sure I was accommodated. Both had beautiful meals, exceptionally well cooked and served. I know chains can sometimes be much of a muchness but Kate and Manika made it feel unique and not just a out churning through a table. If you're in York I can't recommend more highly and only hope you get the two of them serving you!

The curry it is really spectacular.

The first impression was that the ratings were not low, so I gave it a try ~ but I came back disappointed. The temperature of Yuhe was not good enough, lukewarm, not hot. The spring rolls were not crispy, 😩. The cocktail was all crushed ice. The only thing I like about it is the kindness and courtesy of the staff 😉

Really nice food and friendly staff. Party of 5 came in on Thursday and had a fantastic meal. I highly recommend the spicy curry beef brisket. Stunning! Thanks guys

Was excited to visit this Vietnamese restaurant and it did not disappoint. Extensive menu with all the classics. The food was all piping hot and very fresh. Loved the crispy spring rolls, satay sauce was delicious. Morning glory cooked to perfection. The chicken curry was super tasty. Generous portion sizes. Friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

I love that the crab pho I ordered actually came with some salads, it goes so well together! Also there are chilli oil, picked chillis, saratcha sauce and fish sauce on the table to help yourself! Couldn’t really taste the crab in the pho though. Good atmosphere. Would’ve gave it a 5 star, but just confused why I got a different service to the table next to me. They had a cute card came with receipt and was told service charge is optional, but I had non of that, service charge was just added on and no cute card :( ————— Came back here and had beef combo pho, I like the herbs they provide on the side but tbh the broth is not the best. The beef brisket and beef balls were tender but beef steak was over cooked. I’d say the pho is average in general just because the soup base is the most important in this dish. Also ordered prawn summer rolls with chilli sauce. You have an option to choose chilli or peanut sauce, the chilli sauce is not spicy at all but more sweet and sour, goes well with the summer rolls. First time having summer rolls, they taste amazing with the rice noodles and mint inside!

Not been here before but pretty impressive fresh food. Ordered ny food and enjoying my starter when I realised I would miss my train if I did not get going. They wrapped up my main and when I legged it to the station I opened a wonderfully packed and presented house soup with all its component parts.

Fantastic food. I love that there is an option to choose a vegetarian broth so you know exactly what you're getting. Great service and the location is nice.

We visited for a pre-theatre meal, so were in for an early dinner around 4pm. The restaurant was reasonably quiet but still had a nice atmosphere. Key, for us, was that this restaurant allowed us to bring our dog with us. This is excellent and as we were on holiday it meant we could be out for the day and not worry about leaving the dog in the hotel. More places really should be dog friendly. There was a good selection of food to choose from and it was all fresh and very tasty. The staff were excellent, super friendly and made us feel very welcome. This was a great meal at a good price, highly recommended. Especially if you have a furry friend to join you.

Had a wonderful time here this evening, Cate was absolutely fantastic, incredibly efficient and personable. My food allergy was dealt with professionally and put me at ease straight away. Looking forward to when we next dine at Pho.

Had a wonderful experience with Aimée as our waitress, she was super lovely and helpful with helping me decide what noodles I wanted! I got the curry noodle soup (my favourite, especially when I’m feeling under the weather) and my friend got a rice bowl and we both left very satisfied and happy - can’t wait to come back!!

I have the mushroom and tofu Pho and it was very bland. The mushrooms were tiny and in a very small quantity and the tofu had little to no flavour. The broth also had no flavour. Would not recommend but the service was good.

We two families with kids went today to have dinner at PHO. Highly average food. We had prawns, beef and chicken curry. All had just three pieces of meat/ prawns. Very few veg in there. We all felt hungry and left unsatisfied. One of the main staff ( sort of in charge/ manager) was rude and looked very annoyed throughout the evening. I am not sure we will visit again.

Great service, nice interior! I had a beef brisket soup/ramen with noodles, however the broth had no flavour and very bland, no decent seasoning or spices, broth was as clear as spring water.

Very good food. The pho tastes amazing, and the sides are great. I recommend the chicken wings. Takeaway pho comes in separate containers so it doesn't get soggy on the way, which is genius.

The pho is delicious! The steak with garlic pho is very heartwarming on a cold Yorkshire night. There is also a small bowl of pho for children. Although it is twice as expensive as Taiwan, a bowl costs about NT$500, but considering the prices in the UK, there are also It’s a pretty big bowl, so it’s reasonable.

Absoluty fantastic. From walking in to walking out the experience was great. We only planned to have a few drinks and some starters which were all brilliant. The service from Aimee and the rest of the team was superb. Thanks guys.

Good place to get a warm lunch during York's cold and wet day. Staffs were nice. Place was warm.

Delicious Vietnamese food! I had a Rice bowl with chargrilled chicken thighs topped with Chinese leaf, radish, cucumber & pickles, finished with peanuts, herbs & fresh chillies. I will definitely have this again.

First time eating Vietnamese and was blown away . Amazing flavours and very well presented.

PHO York was very tasty. The Spicy Salad Roll was 💣. The prawn crackers are a must. The wok fried noodles were really delicious and the chicken salad. Aimee was our server and really attentive and gave great recommendations and service!

Visited Pho in York last year, fabulous, returned this year, and still fabulous. Ordered several starters and one main, shared between 2. Good value for money and would definitely recommend.

Loved the food. Always love a Pho and this one was no different. Excellent location and great service. Love the atmosphere inside. Photos are my frequent order. It cost approximately £40 but for 2 people I think it was very good. Again i highly recommend especially if you like a nice spicy curry

This place is absolutely incredible! Great food, great service, and some of the best flavours we’ve tasted in York! We were served by Aimee and she couldn’t be more friendlier or on it! During such a busy day, it was so lovely to find somebody with such high spirits. Looking forward to visiting again :-)
