Scones prefilled with jam and cream and squashed together like a sandwich. The scone is cold and the cream is not clotted. Uncivilised.

Came in yesterday as a bank holiday treat for the kids. Food was amazing, staff were very helpful and kind. The new kids meal is great value for money!!

Upon entering Hickory’s our server Rob introduced himself and made a real fuss over my grandson making him feel very special. We chose from the delicious new menu and our food and drinks arrived promptly and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. I can highly recommend the baby back ribs! There’s a lovely atmosphere and I would not hesitate to recommend Hickory’s to all ages!!We will be back! Xx

Came to Castleford for the day from out of area and found this cafe. Nice, light decor and seating. Staff were warm and friendly. The food was lovely; we had a nice, buttery quiche and an impressive sandwich on thick brown bread, both served with a fresh, crisp salad. Coffee was also good. Hope to visit again - Thank you 😊

Used to be lovely..service has gone down and we found it to be dirty in places. The food was nice but the dirty surfaces put us off.

Fantastic night we had Saturday, cheap priced drinks, friendly atmosphere and kareoke is one of the best sounds I've heard.

Lovely food from here, only the salt n pepper chips that let them down.They aren't very nice. . I've had to edit my review whilst the food is still nice ,the increase in price isn't value for money no longer . I ordered salt n pepper chicken wings and special fried rice and it's now £13:50 and the special fried rice had only 2 king prawns and very little chicken . Very disappointed

Just had the Sunday Dinner here. Nicest Sunday dinner I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone serving was lovely. Very quick very attentive.

Decided to go here for lunch with my Aunt. It was extremely busy but service was on point! I am disabled and when we entered, there was limited seating available. The waitress noticed how uncomfortable i was and when a couple left, offered us to move to a comfier and more accessible table. Even though how busy it was, the waitress Liz was extremely aminable and very friendly. The food was delicious and prices very reasonable. It has beautiful decor and calming views of the water. Great atmosphere, extremely clean and everyone was very friendly. Will definitely be back soon! Thank you

Great food burger was /10/10 ranch tenders were a bit spicy hot for me!!

Might be a bad day but chips were scabby bits and sparse.

Saw Skinnt Living here in December for an intimate sit-down gig. It was a brilliant experience! The venue itself was accessible lots of parking nearby.
