Harry's Burgers & Shakes in Wakefield

Food was amazing I don’t normally eat burgers but these were incredible and my daughter who never eats anything but chicken nuggets lived the Mac and cheese bites and left the chicken. Worth every penny

One straw for two shakes ! Bag of chips ripped open and chips in carrier bag! Food was nice but more care needed

We have order from here sooo many times and always been delicious, however last couple of times we’ve been disappointed. Unhappy with our order tonight, received the wrong flavour wings - (still nice so no point sending back and exchanging etc not too fussed with that) but the burgers were tasteless and the loaded fries weren’t great this time either:( also, pretty expensive to not receive the nice tasty food we have had previously.

Food was absolutely amazing, and even tho it was late by 40mins the food was still really warm and will be coming back again. Definitely beats five guys

Trying out Harry’s burgers & wings for the second time in 7 months! the chips were seasoned very well! I wish they were a little more crispier and they would’ve been the best fries in the game period! 🙌🏻 the chicken tenders were a little dry but the coating on the tenders and their sauce were really good! (especially dipping it in their ranch dip) was enough to bust! buffalo wings were exceptional! (Must recommend!) and their burger was juicy and delicious! rating my order an 8.9 out of 10! 👍🏻

Delivery delayed by 15 minutes and then it came late regardless.

Food itself was nice. But the burger bun bread was soggy. Almost like it had been sat in foil for a long time. It wasn’t edible so I just took the meat out of the bun and ate that. Would order again providing the burger buns weren’t soggy 🤣

Although the delivery was a little late, when i contacted him you could tell by his voice they was very busy and it was a friday night. The quailty of the food was defiantly worth the extra wait.

I placed an online order for delivery . I had never tried this place before and omg I will definitely be ordering again !!! I added in the comments to the chef box stating that it is my birthday and they did not disappoint !! They sent complementary onion rings , mozzarella sticks and wings ! The food was absolutely incredible we had burgers , wings , loaded fries the whole shabang and it was all up to top standard and quality . The chicken is proper chargrilled and so tender and the salad on the burger was fresh. A huge thank you to all the team at Harry’s for making us an amazing takeaway and for my making my birthday that bit more special ! I will definitely be placing an order again !

milkshakes were good but 2 of them had bits of plastic in, one with a ridiculous amount and some of the cups were damaged or crushed.

Ordered a first time since new owners stepped in. And we are happy. Ordered 2 burgers( meat was a bit dry,so would like a bit more sauce, but it is us 😀), pulled beef tots and desert. Very delicious and quick delivery. Portion size was great. Definitely will try again.

Really disappointed with my order this evening. We have ordered a few times and really enjoyed the burgers however every time we have ordered the burgers have always come with American mustard on but tonight it came with English mustard which was really disappointing and made my food inedible as I do not like the taste. It does not specify in the description of the burger that there will sometimes be a variation of mustards used which would have been helpful when ordering.

Not happy with my order. No coke delivered, no straw for milkshakes and two very very wet burgers. So wet I was unable to eat!

First time ordering since the new menu. 1 thing missing on it....a veggie burger! I used to enjoy the onion bhaji burger but that has now gone and the only veggie meal option is a halloumi veg bowl which tasted great don't get me wrong, but not worth what I paid for it. Ordered nachos, you forgot to send them so had to claim a refund. Hubby enjoyed his burger and the little one enjoyed her milkshake. Overall however, for what we received I think it was overpriced.

Ordered food from here after finding the place on just eat. Menu looked great, ordered a burger with fried and some Tata tots. Food was very greasy (literally dripping out the bag). The burger was ok, bread was stocked in grease, didn’t taste bad but also not good, it just ok. Chips was cold. The tata tots where great however. Over all though props won’t order from here again, was left quite disappointed. Had better burgers from old McDonald.

First time ordering and won’t be the last! We ordered a classic burger, taste of the Caribbean bowl, ranch wings and pulled brisket tots. Each dish was well made, really tasty and arrived hot (15 mins early too which was a bonus!)

ordered chicken wings. halloumi, a beef salad bowl and pulled beef with tater tots. the chicken wings were just warm. the rest was cold. not sure how that happens when we live 2 minutes away. also ordered a peice of cheesecake that was the right temperature. overall, a bit disappointing for nearly 40 quid.

Don't get me wrong the food was hot and tasty but I was disappointed with the size if the burger for £9, and there wasn't a hashbrown on my burgers the jack Daniel wings were lovely and the chips were hot and crispy.

First say already a review on here from me giving it 5 stars and highly recommend I was a regular at 1 bit then stopped to focus on training an been healthy, now second time ordered since stopped once last year burger was supposed to be chicken fillet got couple little chicken sticks so put me off ordering again, just ordered today and did not enjoy burger one bit had really weird horrible taste and they've shrunk chips was ok and mi mams shake chocolate mayhem not blended just chopped in half and sat at bottoms mine still nice honeycomb an rasberry but never having burger again gone down hill sorry harry

Ordered 2 milkshakes (kinder and chocolate orange) and 2 cheese cakes (Fererro and milky bar) and fml they slapped, the milkshakes were massive and the cheese cakes looked like something I'd get in a restaurant in London, overall well worth the price as you can tell everything is made fresh. Keep it up lads 👍🏻

Really really nice burgers. Only downside is that I wish the packaging the takeaways come in would be changed as the condensation always makes the bottom of the burger bun really soggy.

Desserts are great! Ordered 2 caramel slices, but when my order arrived there was a note in the bag to say they had tried ringing but couldn’t get in touch (which was my own fault, old number in Uber eats) and they had swapped them with 2 caramel brownies as there were no caramel slices left which I thought was very kind!!!

No heinz on this one, was supposed to be a cheeky treat for mommy and daddy... There was no treat on this Halloween, just a trick which saw us waste money I'm afraid. Order: Cheeseburger - Paid extra for fries. Portion of Kebab Meat Onion Bhaji Cokes First... Barley warm.. Never a good start. The onion bhajis were greasy, overcooked and dry, shame cos the taste wasn't actually that bad, the dip was super watery though, just ran off the bhajis. The kebab meat was by far the worst in Castleford. Cut way too thick and just taste "wrong" I'd hazard a guess that there is no kebab machine on site and it comes in a tub or packet... I could be wrong though. Either way, no good at all and the amount of RED grease was of concern. Luckily we were smart and saved the burger for last to be judged, given the name of the place we figured the burger would be decent. Nah, wrong. Firstly the fries that we paid extra for came cold and soggy, disappointed there. Then the burger. Without a doubt the salad is better than most other take aways but it was sweaty so lost the crunch and appeal that I'm sure would be there if it was fresh or delivered quicker. This led to the bun also being soggy and not so good. Then the burger itsel, it was hard to tell but for us it was slightly under cooked, not sure if it had a pink tinge or not, perception and lighting could be tricking us. Either way, there was no taste and afyer a few bites and picking the grizzle out we gave up on it. Overall really really disappointed and definately wasn't worth the money this time. Will we try again... Maybe... Unsure right now. If we did we would avoid the kebab meat for sure, instruct the burger to be cooked more and potentially collect to get it a bit fresher. 2 star rating from us and that was almost a one. Sorry, but on this initial try, just didn't live up to the hype.
