The best restaurants in Pickering East Ryedale Yorkshire and The Humber

We visited on Easter Sunday for roast. It was absolutely fantastic. The service the food et cetera was all really good. Would very much recommended.

Called in for lunch with a friend. We both had the parsnip soup and a cheese roll. It was busy but we got a table for two. Food was nice.

Popped in for breakfast as we had done an overnight stay in Pickering for the steam railway. Friendly service an good value. Cake selection was stupendous!

We stopped off in Pickering on the way back from a holiday on the coast.The bakery had a wide selection of hot and cold sandwiches, pastries and cakes.Plenty to choose from.The staff were very friendly and the food tasted freshly baked , straight out of the oven.I would definitely go back.

We have ordered sushi from here a number of times, and we have yet to be disappointed! The rolls, hand rolls etc are so big and delicious, you are definitely full after eating here! Don’t be discouraged by the prices, ALL the food here is worth every penny!

Really Friendly staff, so I feel bad giving such a low score. Set in a Really quaint Station tea Room. Selling sandwiches, pastries etc . We both had a hot drink, pasty and a Lemon Meringue Pie. My Husband said his pasty was just OK. Mine was cheese & onion, and it was just so bland and tasteless. I ordered a Yorkshire Tea, and I was expecting a lovely strong Brew. Instead of being allowed to make the Tea to our own preferences, the staff do that for you. I was horrified to see loads of milk being poured in for me, it was just so weak,awful grey and milky, really bad! One of the worst cuppas I've ever had! I couldn't drink it. I think they should consider letting customers make their own tea (like every other restaurant)

We visited this restaurant while staying in Pickering for a few days .The garlic prawns to start were superb and we both had cannelloni which was also lovely . The staff were very attentive. Will definitely return when in the area .

First time visiting Cedarbarn farm shop and cafe. Easy to find, on the main road into Pickering from Scarborough, found on the outskirts. Plenty of parking which is free. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch with a variety on the menu for all dietary tastes and prices reasonable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty to buy in the shop, fabulous cake which we took home. Will certainly visit again.

Great location for touring around North Yorkshire

Un lugar encantador en Ebberston Tuvimos un gran tiempo en The Grapes en Ebberston. La comida era absolutamente deliciosa – bien abundante, bien - comidas cocinadas que realmente golpeó el lugar. Es un lugar muy acogedor, limpio y ordenado, con un ambiente cálido y agradable. Lo que lo hizo aún mejor fue lo amable que es el perro. Nuestro cachorro fue tratado como un VIP, con su propio menú de cena para perros – un toque encantador! Está claro que realmente se preocupan por hacer que todos se sientan como en casa, dos o cuatro piernas. Sin duda un lugar al que volveremos. Recomiendo encarecidamente si estás en la zona!

WOW!!! 4th visit and excellent as always. Lodge clean and fully equipped. View over the lake is fantastic. We had evening meal in Spencer’s bar and food was delicious and fairly priced. Marie and staff are so friendly and polite. It is no surprise that many guests return on a regular basis. We are already planning our next visit.

Lovely pub and great friendly staff. Nice selection of beers and very dog friendly, as they bought water regularly and treats for dogs. Would recommend a visit if in area as we will be calling again when that way

I LOVE THIS PLACE MORE MAGICAL THAN DISNEY WORLD. Amazing sausage rolls and the Cookie Monsters. Where to start on the cookie monsters exept for WOWWWW

The staff are very helpful and friendly the food portions are massive and reasonably priced, the only downfall is there is no WiFi and husband was trying to watch a match on his phone, I know its not a massive issue, we ate there twice and would definitely return when we are in the area.

Delicious Pizza, would highly recommend
