Rooms clean and hotel well maintained. Seems as though management however could do with increasing staff levels as poor employees are run off their feet in the evenings. However, they were more than happy to make good a number of errors made during evening meals. The staff deserve better…..

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff.

Recently stayed here, must say that nothing was too much trouble for George and Sofia, they were both wonderful. The breakfast was great and well cooked. I would recommend staying here and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Booked in September, and staying Feb 14th, given worst room in hotel, 105 overlooking aircon units, so then swapped to 107, next door. Apparently the only other spare room. Well surprIse surprise why its empty, it overlooks the bins. Well thankyou so much for looking after us, after numerous stays and advance bookings, we feel really appreciated NOT !!!!!!

Lovely new hotel, staff are brilliant but on short supply. Hotel let down by food, evening meals not worth money and portion sizes are minute. Breakfast was ok but not brilliant

Very good value nothing felt grim or stingy - 73 pounds for a night, nice big room good, new, clean furniture, nice lighting. Staff were very nice too. Felt like a 150 pound room.

Stayed here new years eve with the family, as usual, spotless rooms friendly staff, booking again for next year

Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean everywhere. Dinner was good and breakfast lovely.

Used Premier inn's for six years now and been here before but this time put us off forever. Room was as normal but we had mould round the window and in the bathroom. Evening meal was well below average. Staff dressed like they've been dragged through an hedge backwards. Paying to car overnight in Premier Inn own car park that's just not on.

Room nice ,warm, clean, spacious, nice large bathroom with plenty of hot water. Staff very pleasent and helpful... only slight downside evening meal of scamp and chips overcooked and hard ( no complaints after hard day walking on the moors ) would definitely use premier inn at Pickering again

We had a lovely stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We booked the meal deal which was well worth it.

The hotel is located on the edge of Pickering, close to Bangers and Cash, The Mathewsons. We were stopping for the night before the Malton Forest rally. The whole place was nice and clean. Our room was on the second floor clean and tidy.

Rooms good. Location good. They need to employ more staff. At dinner in the restaurant, there was just one young man, taking orders, serving the meals, clearing tables. The food at dinner was just passable. On the menu it said "skin on chips" We were served frozen Mcdonalds style frys. The breakfasts were OK. Queues at the bar weren't, again no staff.

Worst nights sleep ever in what is supposed to be one of the best mattresses on the market and a premier plus room very disappointed 😞

Quietest Premier Inn I've ever stayed at. Looks quite new, great room, comfy bed and fabulous breakfast. Will be back when visiting relatives in North Yorkshire.

Yet again Premier Inn knock it out of the park for us occasional travellers. Clean, comfortable rooms, cheerful staff who excel at their jobs. Evening meal of a good enough standard and am anticipating a decent brekkie

team member Andrew was wonderful. he checked us in originally, but later we saw his multitasking skills , seating people in the restaurant, taking food orders , taking food to the tables, and probably doing lots more work related tasks in the background . on our way back up to our room he approached my mum and gave her a little bottle of wine , and some chocolate sweet treats, and a handwritten card wishing her a happy 91st birthday for the following day. A thoughtful and wonderful gesture from him. All the staff are great and very hardworking, so sorry that i cant mention all of you .

It was a great place to stay in the centre of places we wanted to go to. I felt sorry for the staff as there weren't enough of them and they worked there buts off but great place

Service still at covid level. Getting worse, no longer the default for a good deal and service.

Cannot fault Team Member Andrew. Faulty toilet seat he arranged repair for. Little seating area for people in the bar area. Bit chaotic at times due to not enough staff.

I just want to praise 4 members of staff Lucy, Andrew, Tyler and James who went above and beyond to help us out when we had been duped by and air b and b, which did not seem to exist! After driving round and round after midnight tired and stressed with a small child. We came across the premier inn with the hopes they may have some avaliable rooms. They had one room left! They came to our rescue even sourcing a trundle bed for my son so we could fit comfortably in the room. Staff struggled with a new computer softwate system, which was throwing up error messages and Andrew who had already finished his shift came back to help his colleagues sort the booking and the rooms for us. They really went above and beyond in our time of need and were friendly, caring and showed fantastic customer service. Thank you so much. It really meant a lot to us. The room was clean and comfortable and I would definitely recommend Many thanks 😊

Staff very pleasant but overworked due to shortages. Room does not have opening windows. No phone in room. Food adequate although breakfast lacking. Orange juice extremely poor. Standard Wi-Fi poor

Would be a five star had it been cheaper and the cook breakfasts were kept stocked. Really needs two people doing the cooking at weekends not the one.

Grat base for visiting North Yorkshire!

Stayed two nights over Easter. Brilliant example of a Premier Inn. Niamh and Mike deserve a shout-out for their efforts in a tough situation. Niamh your CS skills are off the chart! You were on fire Sunday night!!!

Very clean, well organised hotel with friendly, helpful staff.

A little out of Pickering so you feel a little in the middle of nowhere but only about a half hour drive from the coast (Filey/Whitby) good sized free car park, good breakfast, worth knowing that this Premier Inn only has quite a small dining area & was told by reception it was fully booked when we arrived so we had to go back out for food so either book a table or be prepared to drive to one of the local pubs (black bull recommended)

This is the newest Premier in I have stayed at and it is certainly the best - Car Park, welcome, staff, room, bar, meals breakfast. we had the ''meal deal'' and it worked out really well - excellent value and the meals were good.

Amazing stuff, especially Jess who was very helpful and friendly. Will come again!

Hotel is at a good and modern standard. We visited with a baby and the staff were friendly, patient and accommodating. Ample parking spaces and a decent and well priced all your can eat breakfast.

Comfortable spacious rooms. Friendly staff, ample parking. Don't park at the top car park as thieves frequent it.

Bedroom and bathroom were tidy, usual premier inn layout. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too.

We had a car accident around the corner on 25th Feb and came in to book a room as our car was written off. I cant remember the names of the 3 staff when we arrived but all of them were amazingly helpful. Chloe / her colleague in the morning were brilliant too. They both really went above and beyond to help us whilst we sorted everything out with the insurance company. Thank you so much, you have the best staff of any Premier Inn I've ever visited.

Only 1 thought. No need for vanity area would rather have had more wardrobe space.
