No. 4 Bar in Ryedale

Nice bar....open late until midnight everyday. Does get busy. Finish serving on the stroke of midnight

One of my regular haunts so maybe I'm a bit biased, but I think they have the difficult task of being all things to all people, but they do encourage a positive atmosphere overall through the opening times of their long day, open 10:00am to midnight, 7 days a week, EVERY day of the year EXCEPT Christmas Day they're closed. Usually there's some sort of music evening (band/solo artist/karaoke/open mic) once a week most likely on a Friday night or Saturday night. Pool table, darts, table football, interactive darts, are upstairs in the various rooms/lounges, and plenty of varied sport showing on the numerous screens throughout the bar and lounges.

Lovely place much bigger than you think from outside or walking in Nice bar area. Lovely conservatory area however sat upstairs great area to play pool or virtual darts or play music Snug rooms upstairs for time by yourselves Didn't read the notice going in our fault but you can take food in . Which I think is amazing as they don't do food do great way to keep you there . Would definitely return when in the area

Firstly we didn't eat...... In my honest opinion this is the best place in Pickering to have a beer.Spotlessly clean,and the loo's,great choice of drinks from the bar including a great pint of Guiness,really nice atmosphere from the local people(especially Graham)and if Halle is on behind the bar your sorted. 100%Genuine and honest review.

Well worth a visit good atmosphere and a good range of beers and ciders. Sorry l cannot rate the food as we did not have any but would imagine that if its like the rest of bar 4 it will be of a high standard.

Lots of lager and cider on offer with 2 ales on tap. Friendly staff. Tvs were on sports channels definitely locals using the pub. Nice and relaxed and the dog was welcome.

Went in for Sat night drinks. Not overly busy served quickly at the bar, ample room to sit down. Plentiful staff on the bar. Unfortunately the toilets are downstairs now, the ladies are smaller just 2 cubicles making it a wait for the loo. Which were out of toilet roll and Could have don't with a clean. Especially when there was plentiful staff on the bar. It was getting on for 9pm so I was a little surprised to still see lots of younger children upstairs charging around as their parents were drinking.

Nice drink on new years day before going for curry.

Friendly staff, good banter. Can get busy and boisterous but is open late. Pool table upstairs and a good amount of seating. We enjoyed it

Great place. Always like it here but just learned they will not be stocking Istanbul pale from now on. Changing to Ossett blonde which will be good for some but not to our taste. Trips will not be the same ..

Rude and confused staff. My group left along with a couple at the next table.

Visited last night, still have the table service which is fine , great atmosphere as the music went into the 90's era, dancing at the tables and even the staff joined in , brilliant 👏🏻, my first ever visit , will definitely go again , thanks for a great end to the night out

Very noisy, only went here because the Bay Horse was shut.

Very welcoming was on holiday in pickering went to this pub a lot good for all age's me and wife getting to retirement age felt very welcome here would highly recommend Len and Barbara jenkins

Had a really nice drink. However we had been walking so not the best dress code. We were talking to people from our area then we were asked to leave clearly we didn't meet the dress one yet have money to spend. AVOID THIS PUB

Great pub. Sky and bt sports, dog friendly and although they don't sell food you can buy it elsewhere and bring in. Good selection of drinks too

Ye a nice bar, dont do food, reasonably priced drinks. But you can take your own food in and eat, as long as you purchase a drink.

Best place in pickering to dance and drink. Looks like busiest place on a Friday night.

Bar is spacious and the staff were very friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced.

The staff are atrocious! Sat in with my family to watch a game of football and as soon as the game was finished the channel was changed! When asked why I was told "don't get arsey!" No costumer skill at all! Terrible!
