Lovely bar with a nice interior. Friendly staff. Have a good variety of drinks with amazing cocktails. No longer a restaurant after Covid-19, but pretty great for a night out. Cocktail classes are fun to book, and function rooms are available for parties.

The Sandringham is a charming and cozy pub that instantly makes you feel at home. Despite its small and narrow layout, it’s packed with character, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for an evening out. The bar staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the pub’s welcoming vibe and ensuring a positive experience for all who visit. The limited space actually adds to its appeal, creating an intimate setting where you can relax, chat, and enjoy a great pint.

Although this bar has been here a few years. I hadn't ever been in as I thought it was more of a cafe. I first called in the last week because of the live music Hull Trinity Festival. It is a nice bar and the staff are friendly. There is a pool table free to play. There's a good range of reasonably priced beers, larger and cider. Sadly, there is no cask conditioned real ale. It's a nice place worth visiting.

After visiting the museum we walked over to Fruit Market for lunch. There were many bars and restaurants, but this was perfect for the whole groups tastes and needs. Decor is nice and relaxed and although it was busy the staff managed to make room for us. The staff were friendly, the menu had something for everyone, although our table was told no chicken, then our other table had a chicken club sandwich!? Unless they had the last piece. The food took a while, but when it arrived it was fresh and tasty. The meatballs were huge and so were the children's portions! My only suggestion would be that the children's menu needs to be cheaper and smaller. They're basically just adult sized.

One of the best places I've visited in Hull. Minerva was recommended to me by some work colleagues so came for dinner one evening. It was quite busy when we arrived, but we manged to get a table for 2 straight away. I ordered a fish pie and my friend got the fish and chips. The portions were decent sized and the food was really good. They had a good selection of beers on the bar. The pub inside is a proper traditional old pub and really nice inside. Can't wait to go back!

After traipsing around Hull for a dog friendly pub I found this gem. It was quite busy for a Thursday lunchtime but my two well behaved dogs were more than welcomed. The barman got them some water and a dog biscuit each. I enjoyed a long cold Erdinger too. Would have stayed for more if I hadn’t wasted my time looking for such a pub. Nice place, good range of beers, friendly atmosphere and the staff more than helpful.

It seems the easy order online app is enforced more than people taking your order, I have asked twice if someone can take my food order in person and staff generally just tell you to use the app and walk off. I'm not known for using technology at the best of times, this being said I tried to order three sausages, three strips of bacon, three hash browns and a slice of black puddling! but my order came out with two sausages, two pieces of bacon swimming in fat, bubble and squeak and baked beans a slice of toast! I asked the young lad who brought the order and he kind of snapped at me. My partner told me to keep quiet and just eat what was in front of me, sadly hours later I was being sick and bring up the sausages I think they weren't cooked fully, and I don't think the toast was gluten free. Sadly they have lost of customer

Visited bank holiday Monday lunchtime The staff were brilliant. Proper service with a smile The food was amazing. We didn’t realise that the side orders were all included. I had fish pakora, chicken makhani, turmeric potatoes, daal and rice plus a lovely Indian rice pudding. All for £14.95 Small dishes but certainly enough to fill us up Our only issue was the drinks are pricy but we will go back
