This was a relaxing pub for drinking, with a throwback design incorporating lights during the Christmas season! The lining throughout and frames on the wall add to this design, counter is neat and staff were welcoming. I enjoyed a pint of San Miguel, sitting at the comfortable cushioned seating in the cleanliness of the quiet area!

Don't think there serve food lovely little pub

Old historic pub in the heart of Hull's Old Town. Decent real ales served on hand pumps. The modernised interior slightly spoils it. Within a few hundred yards of six pubs ideally placed for a pub crawl definitely worth a visit.

This is a great little pub .. a gem of a find while working in Hull .. Tanya and Tina are incredibly friendly and welcoming as were the local clientele. If you're looking for a quiet drink with a friendly atmosphere with a good selection of drinks on offer (try their signature shot!!) This is the place ... Will most certainly be back ... 😉

Great little pub, great tunes in the background, but not so loud that you can't chat. Friendly bar staff and not crammed full so you can't get to the bar, good atmosphere. We didn't eat so can't comment on food.

Had my surprise 40th here, love this pub, nothing was too much trouble, the landlady Tina accommodate to every needs my daughters wanted, great selection of drinks, not over priced either, music was fab, such a friendly atmosphere, thankyou for making my 40th one to remember 😀

Watch what you are charged if paying on your phone ! Was charged £14.30 for 3 halves of lager by barmaid in hull fc shirt who openly said she was adding the cost of a pint of cider to anyone’s bill who mentioned that hull fc lost in the derby match today !!!! 😡

Popped into this lovely oldy worldly pub before heading home from a day out in Hull on Sunday. Lovely barmaid and friendly regulars. Definatley recommend this pub for anybody fancying a drink at any time of day or any part of a trip.

Used to be a good pub years ago, but the beer is now terrible.

Fantastic little pub great atmosphere and people

Spent time in here on New Year's eve and it was very busy with a good lively atmosphere, we decided to move on elsewhere and after getting to where we went my wife realised she had left her handbag hanging on the chair she had been sat on 🤦 I ran back to Manny Arms and asked the two girls behind the bar if they had seen it, which they had and had kept it safe along with all its contents behind the bar. Good honest people are hard to find these days but the ones behind the bar here are a pair of diamonds. Thanks again girls 👍👍

Had a business outing a few weeks ago and met up at the Manchester Arms. Lovely little pub, warm and welcoming. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will certainly be returning the next time we're in Hull City Centre. Great selection of bar drinks too. Thank you for hospitality.

Great atmosphere and a lot of character to both the venue and the staff! Always friendly banter and service with a chin wag when its quieter. Well known for it's tasty 'Sh!t on the grass', served in multiple of 4s, not 3s or 5s, but they are so easy going down there's no harm in having 2 yourself if there's an extra one left over!

Nice clean place lovely landlady

Dog friendly and child friendly. This place is what you expect of a pub, warm and cosy feel to it. The male bartender was friendly and approachable, but each of our group where made to feel a tad uncomfortable with one of the bar staff constantly handing out stern looks. Others where drinking beer and it looked fairly flat, maybe we popped on the wrong day and they where at the bottom of the barrel. Major plus on being dog and child friendly though, was nice to sit in and have a quiet drink with the dog and children in tow.

A great pub that myself and friends have used for about 45 years. Over the years even though it hasn't really changed that much it's still a great pub to visit.

It seems like a great pub, but they didn't need to have the music on "stun volume" 🤷‍♂️ We were served quickly and it was quite busy, but it's a small place, hence why it didn't such loud. It may have been quieter in the back room, but it was chocker-full. (I know I sound old, with regards the music, but even the staff struggled to even hear our order 😢)

Deeply disappointed by the security contractors used by this pub, outside the Manchester Arms at 1614 on Monday afternoon one of their staff swearing loudly whilst unloading their work vehicle into the pub. The other snorted and spat out a load of phlegm from behind the car almost hitting myself and my family. He was also smoking a joint. Having worked in healthcare for 15 years, the smell is unmistakable. Deeply unprofessional particularly during a global pandemic. I'd highly suggest avoiding this organisation. Will be reporting to SIA.

Omg what a fab last couple of hours we have had, bar staff made us feel so welcome, never let our drinks run dry like alot of pubs had tonight, played music we had asked for and wasn't bothered that we sang(even though it was bad) lol, not sure if the girls were new management but if they were they will make a success of the place xx

Random visit to show my daughter where I used to drink back in the day, the guy behind the bar (Callum) was amazing from start to finish, catered to our every need and youthful reminiscing, will deffo be returning 💖

Came in for the first time with my mum on a one off visit as I live in Leeds, callum was ace and definitely a credit to the business. Love the small pub feel and love the friendly vibe.

Wow!The sights you see in Hull on a Saturday night, but enough of the clientele!The pub itself was small and cramped but had a decent bar and friendly staff.They did serve wine but not the most popular, Sauvignon Blanc which was a shame as that's what we wanted.We settled for pinot which was okWe did however have a laugh with some of the customers . It made Filey seem normal lol

Nice pub, friendly staff, good music, with BT Sports. Bit light on the real ales—there were only two taps on when I went (plus the usual largers). Old Town, so a bit pricey for Hull, but still only £3-odd a pint.

Unexpected delight as only two real ales on, snecklifter and Wainwrights. Both had the Wainwrights and it was very good.
