The Priory Inn in Kingston upon Hull, City of

Went in July for a meet up with Friends. Only to find out from the small guy it doesn't open till 3pm. My husband said where's the sign, online it's 12pm. Anyway we all walked away. Xmas party happens to be here I'm worried due to what happened & thought the guy would remember us lucky no. Service great, pub atmosphere loud music or tv needs to be turned down. Ladies toilets needs a massive make over. Don't really want to go again as a few of us got parking fines despite putting in reg at the computer desk. Use to like this when it was run buy another family.

Popped in for a quick dinner during work so only food and a couple of coffees for me, what a menu to choose from, ordered steak and chips, peas etc... looked at the menu some more and realised i should of ordered the mixed plates they do of appetisers, but the steak didn't let me down, it was spot on, I ate the lot. I will be going back in there for a few drinks next time as well, plus the mixed plates, This is a large enough pub for all the family to visit the food won't let you down, and the music gives it a vibe I liked, 100% recommended you pop in here, the staff are great as well, straight up have a laugh and felt welcome from the start, cheers to you all there.

Had the Philly Cheese steak sandwich for lunch, good quality and came with chips. Easy to use car park polite and helpful staff. Would recommend!

I’ve used this pub in & off for years but had a long break as I personally thought it had gone” downhill “! Now however it’s as if it has a new lease of life. Great Landord whom goes the extra mile, great customer service & wholesome food. The atmosphere has lifted immensely, you can feel it as you walk in .

El Stella estaba caliente, la coca se había agotado, así que solo gaseosa, en cuanto a la comida, todo lo que puedo decir es que fue decepcionante y definitivamente no volveremos Pedimos 5 parrillas mixtas para que nos dijeran que no tenían ninguna, así que pedí scampi que estaba lleno de grasa, los pasteles de pan en las hamburguesas estaba rancio en ambas hamburguesas que se pidió, los aros de cebolla era de rango , no vaya aquí a menos que quieras porquería congelada comida de pub. El personal del bar tampoco era muy amable, bastante grosero. En general, no volvería a comer aquí si fuera gratis! Lo siento, pero fue tan decepcionante que siento que Iv tuvo que poner una crítica para advertir a los demás que no se pongan en cintura.

Party of us went today. Food was very good. I didn’t know you had to give them your car reg number or face a fine. When I found out later that day I rang to give them my reg. The lady said I couldn’t but had to take my ticket in when I got it!! I have never heard of this happening in a pub car park. I will not be paying a penny! It’s disgusting 2nd message Thank you for your reply. When I rang I was told to take my ticket in and it would be sorted. A friend was told the same. She took her ticket in and was told there’s nothing you can do! I was helping an elderly disabled lady into the pub and we sat straight down. I did not see any signs at all about the parking. If a fine is relevant to me I will pay it. We have used the pub for many years. How are people supposed to know about this new system? It’s always been such a lovely pub with great food. When people have always used the car park they don’t expect the rules to suddenly change like this.

Went to a Christmas party in the day. The food was fabulous, best pub Christmas Dinner I have ever had! Lovely variety of veg on it and the Turkey was lovely and succulent good portion too! The staff were really friendly and pleasant and did wonders managing to get 70 plus dinners out together. Great value I would recommend, thank you!

Our Aqua Xmas party was a great success. Brilliant food and service. Landlord couldn't do enough for us, even carried my drink over to table for me. Thank you. Looking forward to next year.

Fui parte de un grupo de 80 personas. Normalmente no soy de los que comen en Navidad. Honestamente puedo decir que la comida en el Priorato fue probablemente la mejor que he probado. Todo el mundo con el que hablé deliraba al respecto. Ojalá hubiera tomado fotos. Estaba sabroso, caliente y muy lleno. Gracias a todo el personal maravilloso que fue amable y servicial.

Today we had our aqua Xmas social at The Priory. The food was first rate bearing in mind it was being catered for in such a large number. The atmosphere was great the staff were all very lovely and very attentive. Nothing was to much trouble. It was my first visit here and would certainly recommended it

Just spent the afternoon at The Priory Pub in Hull. The food was fabulous, all well cooked great array of vegetables and the turkey was delicious, followed by sticky toffee pudding. The staff were lovely, very pleasant and couldn't do enough for their customers. I would certainly visit this pub again.

La decepcionante comida de Navidad de hoy para más de 30 mujeres se había reservado por adelantado durante 3 meses y las opciones de alimentos se habían enviado semanas antes. Estábamos todos sentados en una zona estrecha a las 1200 Tardó el personal hasta 2 horas 20 minutos para sacar las comidas Yo era uno de los últimos y era voraz, pero estaba por debajo mediocre con chirivías casi de madera y seco en el borde del pavo. El entrante de un simple cóctel de gambas fue el peor que he probado que era soso y masticable. Esperé media hora más hasta las 2. 45 por una simple porción de pudín de Navidad que nunca se materializó así que me fui a recoger a los nietos de la escuela. El tiempo total allí para el grupo fue de unas 3 horas de nada. Habíamos pagado hasta 18 libras cada uno, así que hacer las cuentas. Fue poco menos que espantoso. Nunca he sido testigo de tal incompetencia en un “restaurante. ”

Very poor steak. Starter was Ok. Desert was average. Overall it was not very good even given the free pint offer.

My dad and brother had fishchips and said it was one of the best pub fish they had had, fish was big white flakes, very friendly staff good prices

Been fined £100 for parking in the pub carpark even though I was in the pub all the time spending money. Website for pub says free parking. What a rip off of a place.

Went as a family of 7 we all had the Tuesday special burger and drink We ordered different burgers and all were thoroughly enjoyed. Very good service and very informative. Will definitely be returning.

First visit for a family birthday dinner. We all got the burger and drinks offer. Great value and tasty food. Friendly helpful staff and a lovely old spacious building. The chicken gravy that came with the southern fried chicken burger was really good.

I often go to the quiz on a Thursday and really enjoy it. The food is very nice and Jane the barmaid is always very helpful and goes out of her way to make our night enjoyable. Can't thank you enough Jane!

Come here for tea usually fortnightly with my Dad & Brother and do the meal & a beer offer, Pie, Burger & Curry nights are our favourites. Food is delicious, highly recommended

Had our brothers 50th birthday gathering at the Priory Pub on Sunday 5th May. The staff were very friendly, helpful and went above beyond for us. Nothing was an issue or problem. Everyone had a great time and the atmosphere was brilliant. Thank you Priory, fantastic service and great staff.

Food was excellent, especially for a large group of us at peak times Service was exceptional, friendly and quick. Apologetic about the slight delay with food, which we didn’t mind anyway as we were talking Servers stopped and chatted to us, very friendly especially the lady in the kitchen. Will definitely return soon

Second time visiting the Priory Inn for food. After having what I can only describe as the BEST pub chicken burger I've ever had. I fancied the same again. But Monday night is pie night! A choice of pie, choice of potatoes, peas, gravy and a pint for £9.50? It would be rude not to! Order placed, 15 min later we have our food. And I'd say it was well worth the wait, but we didn't have to wait! It was lovely. I would highly recommended.

Only the 2nd time we've been in here as we live the other side of the town but, both times, the food has been lovely. The staff are very polite and attentive and it's a pleasure to visit a pub that retains a lot of olde pub values. Definitely visit again.

Had my Dad’s wake here. What a lovely place to have a function. The food was just enough and very tasty. Shaun and Sarah could not do enough for us. We made use of one of the TV’s to display some photos and they had a speaker so that we could attach and play our own music. I would definitely recommend it.

Called into the pub whilst out walking the dog. Such a warm welcome for both us and the dog, we will definitely return! The dog was even provided with a bowl of water and was given treats by some of the other customers!! She did not want to leave!!

Came tonight for tea after going to Sizzling pubs that actually aint sizzling, One Gammon, two steaks cooked to perfection, Our daughter is in Hospitality and its so nice for a local hang out to hit the spot.Sarah& team was spot on nice & comfy pub with warmth in heat & in service.Well done all .
