Second time visiting the Priory Inn for food. After having what I can only describe as the BEST pub chicken burger I've ever had. I fancied the same again. But Monday night is pie night! A choice of pie, choice of potatoes, peas, gravy and a pint for £9.50? It would be rude not to! Order placed, 15 min later we have our food. And I'd say it was well worth the wait, but we didn't have to wait! It was lovely. I would highly recommended.

The staff and service here is phenomenal nothing to much to ask very accommodating food was fantastic and a great selection of drinks!Shaun went the extra mile as it was such a hectic time being Mother’s Day

What a fantastic pub, the food was spot on ,it was hot and plentiful ,we had a starter and burger and a lovely pint, what fantastic value for money.

Absolutely amazing food and service every time myself and my family have gone. Booked a table for new years day with all the family no complaints what so ever, service was brilliant food was nice presented, was hot. Me and my girls go quite alot wouldn't go no where else. Brilliant place to book for food aswell as going for dinner.

Only the 2nd time we've been in here as we live the other side of the town but, both times, the food has been lovely. The staff are very polite and attentive and it's a pleasure to visit a pub that retains a lot of olde pub values. Definitely visit again.

Had my Dad’s wake here. What a lovely place to have a function. The food was just enough and very tasty. Shaun and Sarah could not do enough for us. We made use of one of the TV’s to display some photos and they had a speaker so that we could attach and play our own music. I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent Christmas dinner came with friends on Tuesday night. Food was very good will definitely go again.

Called into the pub whilst out walking the dog. Such a warm welcome for both us and the dog, we will definitely return! The dog was even provided with a bowl of water and was given treats by some of the other customers!! She did not want to leave!!

Came tonight for tea after going to Sizzling pubs that actually aint sizzling, One Gammon, two steaks cooked to perfection, Our daughter is in Hospitality and its so nice for a local hang out to hit the spot.Sarah& team was spot on nice & comfy pub with warmth in heat & in service.Well done all .

Visited the Priory Pub this evening for tea. Had southern fried Burgers plenty to eat and nice and hot. Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble.

Went In for lunch.. Really nice pub grub

Although slightly distant from my usual location, the Priory pub was well worth the journey. The inviting atmosphere and excellent variety of beverages made for a truly enjoyable experience. I highly recommend making the trek for those seeking a welcoming ambiance and an impressive selection of drinks, promising a memorable and satisfying outing.

We popped in for a couple of drinks and ended up having the curry as well. Ive got to say the young lad on the bar was lovely and polite. Nothing was too much for him. Great food.

Enjoyed a lovely steak, always cooked to perfection. Priory is always our go to pub for great food and beers 👍🏻

The Priory is a large community pub. There is a wide choice of beers and lagers some at very cheap prices, but no cask conditioned real ale. Friendly staff a nice cosy pub, serving good food all day from 12 noon. There is a separate bar with darts and pool, sky sports on TVs around the pub. A great pub.

came to priory for a few pints after work as I've not been in for a long while but wow how it's changed, miles better place, staff are friendly and welcoming, the food smelt amazing I noticed it was curry and a beer night for £8.95 so I went ahead and ordered, I must say I wasn't disappointed I will be heading back here at the weekend with friends thanks priory team!!

Hi booked a table for 630 and didn't get our food until 745 and when we had finished it was too late to order pudding the staff was very friendly but sorry won't be coming again

We enjoyed a lovely tasty lunch, I had Steak & Ale pie was wanting more. and my wife had Sausage & Mash topped onions and a very nice gravy , she cleared her plate which she doesn’t do very often so I guess that says everything. Well done chef.👏👏👏👏

I took my grandchildren for lunch. They had the burgers and loved them.

I really enjoyed my mixed grill,good potions and the food was really really good and chef so funny .I really enjoyed everything. I will definitely be going back for more.Well done guys

Went in to watch the football with a friend. Burger and a pint for £8.50, bar staff very friendly and accommodating and are willing to go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. Will definitely be back again very soon. 5 star!

Had a lovely time at The Priory with my mum today as always! ☺️ We've been going for years and always guaranteed to have a great time! Really friendly, welcoming staff and such a great atmosphere! Very comfortable seating, always clean and tidy and super spacious! They have such a wide range of drinks and food so definitely something for everyone! 😁 Meals never fail to disappoint, always well presented, and super tasty! This has turned into one of my favourite pubs. The pub is welcoming. All the staff are helpful,friendly and polite. The pub food, is amazing! Have been for food few times now. The meal's have been constant in quality and presentation of the food. I would recommend this pub to anyone.

I had the ultimate spicy beef burger outstanding burger the best ive tasted then i had sherry trifle cheesecake that was lovely aswell,very nice food and lovely staff aswell rate this place 10/10

What a great local pub. Sarah and Shaun are so friendly and the staff are great. Tried the spicy pulled pork baguette and it was delicious, great value for the money. Will definitely be back.

Long wait for the food. Kids were running around the pub despite being told by the staff to not run. All good was nice apart from the rubbery tastiest cheese on the hunters chicken

Seven of us went for Lunch. All of the food was well cooked and well presented and everyone cleared their plates. We are all quite fussy eaters. Would highly recommend.

Went for lunch and ordered the chicken, bacon club sandwich! Was so fresh and tasty, was also with more family members who had lunch 3 course meals, and they didn’t have one complaint between them, and meals all came out same time nice and hot. Also bonus they actually made sure the children’s meal was brought out 1st before adult mains which is much appreciated! Oh, good beer too 🍻. Thanks, Shaun & team

Came for a birthday meal. Landlord and Landlady were very welcoming! Gave us a nice spot and covered the table with linen and put banners up for the occasion (didnt even ask) food was good old pub grub. Chicken strips were beautiful as was the lasagne. The Roast dinners looked great (although we didnt have them) very reasonably priced. There is lots of entertainment most weekends!

My husband and I were passing by and thought we'd try for lunch with one of our sons. Got drinks which were fine but the place just smelt awful like pubs used to pre smoking ban. Very stale and fusty so put us off eating and went elsewhere.

The priory Inn is a great pub for a lovely meal or just a nice cold pint in the beer garden they have something to suit all needs.

Came here with my husband for lunch,was greeted by a lovely lady who was very friendly. Sat in a very pleasant restaurant area and had a fantastic lunch which was brought over by the cook. Great value for money and what a wonderful pub. Will go back even if its to see the two ladies who work there.

We went there for Lunch today and had the 2 course lunch time specials £4.95 and a pint of Guinness for £2 bargain meal was nicely laid out and the breaded mushrooms with garlic sauce was nice recommend for a cheap meal also has football on

What a fantastic atmosphere overall. Staff are lovely & friendly! Extensive menu which offers a wide variety of dishes, very reasonably priced too!

This isn't the most inviting pub from the outside but we did receive a friendly welcome from the bar.
