We called on spec today for a quick lunch prior to visiting friends in the area. The welcome was friendly. Staff and customers were most welcoming to our two little dogs. How nice this was. The food was most acceptable . Decent-sized portions and a lovely selection of seasonal vegetables. Pity not all pubs are so accommodating.

Wonderful cafe with warm, friendly and helpful staff. Superb selection of cakes, largest choice of gluten free cakes of any cafe I’ve visited and very delicious. Tea served in hot mugs, a nice touch was the timer for the correct brewing time for the loose leaf tea in a teapot. Dog friendly and will use a Polaroid to put a picture of your dog on the wall of fame! The breakfast menu looked delicious and we will be returning. The price was very fair- I don’t live in the 1950’s as a really miserable previous reviewer does!

Had a quick lunch here on our walk today. Babies sandwich was perfect- good value for money. Presentation of all food was great. Sadly our jacket potato was still frozen inside - staff were happy to resolve and very apologetic. Delicious soup. Good prices.

This is a wonderful coffee shop. It's warm and inviting. The staff are attentive and friendly. And the food is the best I've had from a coffee shop. Such high quality ingredients and cooked perfectly. Such a varied choice and really good coffee too. Snoopy is just the icing on the cake. Love this place ❤️

We stayed for 3 nights and ate every night ,the food was very tasty and we enjoyed it. Unfortunately we were slighly disappointed with our room, details were missed ,a lightbulb needed replacing and when I opened our curtain in the morning the window sealant around the panes had dripped and not been removed which looked extremely unpleasant. There was a loose tile in the shower. There were no hand towels only on that day When I mentioned the bulb and window to the staff on Tuesday afternoon they said that they would sort it out which they hadn't done when we returned on Wednesday. We felt that the room wasn't up to superior standard as expected . On the plus side the room and bathroom were toasty warm, the water perfectly warm and the towels very soft. The breakfast cooks were very good as were the breakfasts and Tia who served us our meal Monday and Wednesday evening was excellent.

Got vouchers as a gift and then was saddened to hear they were closing, love,y ride across to find it very welcoming inside, the menu was varied We had the lamb and shepherds pie, small portions but beautifully served hot and very tasty. The desserts were tasty and presented with a tasty dressing The Venue is excellent, the food was beautiful and the staff were an absolute credit to the owner, sad it is closing

We last visited in 2021 so a return visit to this lovely fish shop was long overdue.. Myself, sister and mam visiting Stokesley just wanted something small and quick to eat . I remembered said fishshop and it was exactly the same as our previous visit. Same obliging owner serving beautifully cooked fish and chips. Even making some requested scraps as there was none in the warmer and three complimentary cups tea as we sat outside in the sun. Thankyou so much and to the lovely server.

We’ve just had a fantastic dinner, bed and breakfast stay at the Buck Inn to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We live locally and have had many lovely meals there, but this was the first time we had stayed overnight. Our room was lovely - spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Vicki is such a welcoming host it was a really special stay. Thanks to Vicki and the team and we’ll be back soon.
