Well placed at services and great budget hotel. Very friendly staff, great Brewers Fayre restaurant next door to hotel and spotless well appointed rooms.

Good location in the countryside

Stayed in a lot of premier inns when working, this is the best one by a long shot! Amazing resteraunt, clean rooms and very friendly helpful staff. I go out my way to stay here now. Only downside is no free onsite parking (think it's a tenner to stay in multistory car park) I'd pay 20

Been a couple of times to eat, I will highly recommend it, great value for a carvery and a very good portion size. All the food is clearly home cooked and all really tasty. My kids enjoy the normal menu whilst we have the carvery. I will say book and go early if you want the special meat (venison and lamb have been on recently) to avoid disappointment. Served by a great team and in good time. I would highly recommend this place

Great chinese food and service.

An obnoxious owner who frequently drinks to excess and puts himself forward and unwelcomingly on customers trying to relax. The ale and spirits here are almost definitely diluted to maximise margins. Avoid this place like the plague.

My first visit and quite impressed, good venue for having lunch with friends. This time we dined 5.30ish and I had the pesto linguine with chicken which was delicious. Music played in the background which didn't stop conversation and excellent all round.

Nice pub in village but I gave a 4 as we had to ask for our drinks twice. It was a bit busy when we girst arrived but then 3 staff cleaning tables (which were then not occupied) they could see we had no drinks and when they took our plates away, they never asked if we wanted dessert....I know we could have said but it's quite usual for waitresses to ask...and by the time we'd asked fir bill the pub was virtually empty

Great pizza, the best in the region. A tad on the expensive side though.

Just had a capachino very good as usual. Caffe Nero is my favourite place for drinks and eats

Update: I really love this butchers, and oh my, are there soooo many excellent looking BBQ cuts today. So excellent looking pre-marinated full rack of ribs, but also so excellent looking naked ribs; just great looking thin layers of fat, which is precisely what you want 🙀♥️. Needless to say, I had to pick up a pasty for lunch 😹 Original review: Excellent butchers, really friendly staff, and if you haven't tried there pies, you're missing out! Interested in BBQ foods/meat, talk to the staff. They have a great range of meat that are excellent for a BBQ. Though some cuts you may need to ordered in advance, especially if you're not only a "fair weather BBQer" (aka you BBQ all year round) 😁👍

The most excellent Chinese I have ever eaten. From the warmest of welcomes on collection to the most delcious food. We had a mixed starter and a special satay and it was all hot; tasty and super yummy. Thank you. X
