The only reason i’m giving Atmosphere 3/10 is because there’s was not many people in maybe 2 or 3

Ordered paneer curry - vegetarian. What I got was a chicken curry with cheddar cheese melted on the top ! Absolutely disgusting

Dined her for granddaughters 21st in Sunday. Party of 14 food was amazing. Everyone happy and we will definitely return. Friendly staff x

My parents love this cafe and come every year when they visit Beverley. I joined them this time and I was genuinely shocked by the attitude of the member of staff who greeted us- she basically told my 80 year old father to go and wait outside in the cold as he was in the way, snapped and told us that she couldn’t guarantee a table for a while, ( one was ready literally two minutes later) and was bellowing this as though we were children lining up in the playground. Interestingly, her attitude was markedly different to two dogs outside, who she called “sweetheart.” She was so horrible, that another woman also commented on this, who was waiting. The other staff were lovely and couldn’t be further removed from this horror. The food was fine- nice, lovely soup and sandwiches and the waiter that served us was lovely. But- I am sure this woman on the door will just put people off- I would really get her to do something else, as no one goes to a cafe for lunch on a Saturday to be made to feel an annoyance. Blond woman with glasses- there is just no need to be so horrible.

Absolutely fantastic fish and chips, the best l have ever tasted. I used to think Betty’s in York were the best but not anymore. The staff are lovely and friendly and the pub has a wonderful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend

Such a lovely inviting place. Excellent menu and great quality food. Calling ahead is recommended. Although the mixed grill wasn't on the menu that particular day, they were more than happy to do them for us. Highly recommend.

Buena comida sin lujos, vale la pena una visita si no eres quisquilloso. El tamaño de las porciones es suficiente para el dinero. Definitivamente llamaré de nuevo

We have just recently moved to the village and tonight we have ordered a takeaway due to been far too tired to cook. Absolutely lovely five star 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Staff so friendly and polite, everything we ordered tasted fresh and the chicken was tasty no nasty bits 😋.. Thank you we will definitely be coming back ....

As always, beautiful fish n chips, with Yorkshire caviar (that’s mushy peas to those of you not from Gods own county!) Huge portion that beat both me and hubby! Batter on the fish was crispy n melted in the mouth. There’s a reason this place is so popular.

Visité aquí con un amigo, pero no volveré. El personal parece tener un problema de actitud, cierran a las 3. 00:00 y media hora antes de que no puedan esperar a deshacerse de ti, bueno, esa es la impresión que nos dimos. Los sándwiches son muy caros en comparación con otros lugares locales, pero la patata chaqueta era mucho más barato. La tienda también es muy caro £ 3. 99 por un pequeño trozo de pastel de Navidad. Compré uno grande recientemente que era mucho más barato y se hizo en las instalaciones y sabía muy bien.

No honro la oferta que anuncian, tienen una oferta si 2 cócteles por £ 10 3 hasta 5 todos los días de la semana, entramos y los pedimos y nos cobraron el precio completo, cuando se le preguntó al trabajador del bar miró la fecha y la hora y respondieron “oh, simplemente no los miércoles, ya que tenemos una noche de preguntas esta noche” fue risible realmente solo había nosotros también y otras tres personas en todo el pub, no volveremos ya que se hacen parecer poco confiables.

My favourite place for a hot drink on the go. Clean and tidy, staff doing a great job, plenty of options to choose from.

We got egg fried rice and beef and mushroom beef chow mein went down to the sea front to eat it ended up putting it in the bin. Never again 😒

We go here fairly often as a family. We’ve never once had a bad experience! Friendly staff, delicious food and a great atmosphere! Thank you!
