Costa Coffee in East Riding of Yorkshire

What's going on lately with staff etc,,, this used to be my go to outlet ,, it was always busy, staff running there socks off, real nice atmosphere,,, now, think there was only two staff,, place was a mess and the Barista was sooooo dam slow,,, I nearly walked across the road to Next,, but 15/20 minutes for a coffee is a bit much,, 🤦🏻‍♂️😢

Great place to have a morning coffee and special food.

Firstly, customer service is appalling. I visit this costa everyday and it’s not the first time I’ve had these issues. Rude and doesn’t listen to the order. Secondly coffee is horrible cannot even drink it. Few times I’ve left it due to it been made incorrectly. If you work in customer service and have that kind of attitude, leave the job it isn’t for you.

Vegan drinks weren't labelled as vegan so hard to tell if our order was correct. Ran out of the food item we wanted that is usually available at other costas. Took quite a long time to get our drinks.

Been going to this costa for a while. Emily is a lovely person. Great customer skills and always goes above beyond. She also makes a brilliant vanilla latte.

The drinks looks fab however the straws were missing

Can take an age to get served even when i moderately busy otherwise a decent place for coffee.

Called in for a drink and decided to have a bite to eat, got the Mac & Cheese which was very nice. The customer service I received from Joe was excellent, friendly & polite which is what a chain such as Costa depends on.

After a day walking on the beach . It was just what we needed and a pupachion for our dog, as she had been very good.

I can't understand why when drinks are made in a uniform manner, why they often taste so differently.

A drive-through Costa with seating inside wheelchair and pram friendly staff friendly and service with a smile . Always well stocked and has a nice variety of cakes to choose from.

Quick polite service, even when really busy , table's clearer and clean quickly, friendly staff

Asked them to warm the croissant and it got burnt. Staff member on drive thru was cocky.

Much better experience than last time I was there. Waited 25 minutes to be served as staff were busy preparing packages for Deliveroo to collect just ignoring other customers. Very nice attentive staff today, hope next visit is the same.

It's a Costa, serving Costa coffee and biscuits/cakes etc. The cinnamon bun I had was a little light of cinnamon, I've had better.

If I could give less I would, I wouldn’t eat here with allergies, got order wrong twice and not even an apology.

Enjoyed my Latte & Carrott cake, the small things matter.

Some baristas seem to like banging the porta as loud as.

As with all Costa visits, staff very helpful and of course the coffee is excellent.

I had a wonderful experience at Costa Coffee today. The coffee was rich and flavorful, and the baristas were incredibly friendly and attentive. The cozy ambiance made it the perfect spot for a relaxing break. I also appreciate their commitment to sustainability with eco-friendly practices. Costa Coffee is definitely my go-to place for a great cup of coffee and a warm atmosphere

Always friendly staff and a speedy service just not sure about the drive through sign?

1st timer at this coffee shop staff very knowledgeable and efficient coffee was nice cakes could have been presented better corner broken off my tiffin and partners bun fell out of it's case on tray a little rushed .

All the drinks were great my wife and daughters cake were lovely mine was as dry as sin . Were there was meant to be a fruit layer on the frangipane cake was all dried up and the base the same and really chewy.

Always great coffee in Costa. The brown toast with butter is a favourite for a late breakfast 😋

Used to love the place, but gone wrong fast. Caramel syrup just doesn't cut it anymore, think they've changed supplier. The lattes aren't creamy and taste like they are made with water and not milk. Regularly get coffee with burnt beans. Over priced and go elsewhere. There's better about. On the flip, the food is great. Sandwiches, breakfast baps, muffins, all great. But all pre made and no done so by the staff inside, which says a lot. The manager also has an attitude problem.

The place wasn't busy, most of the tables hadn't been cleared, definitely needed some attention in the dining area, girls too busy chatting to notice. Seems much better now, still used tables not cleared. Service good.

It's the second time I have ordered mango frappe here and second time I got regular straw that doesn't let me enjoy the juicy pearls. Completely pointless

Good location, be aware of the time limit on the parking area as marked. Usual Costa facilities and fayre.

First time in this Costa, Car park nearly full,but cafe not even a quarter. Where do the inconsiderate car drivers go???. Staff very helpful, service very good.. Quite a few dirty tables, but will go again.

I visited this afternoon with my two young daughters and was served by Tara. She was very friendly with my girls & checked the temperature of their drinks with me before serving them (5&10) She was very patient with me taking my order (i had a migraine so was a bit ditzy & fumbled through my order) she was lovely and friendly, and even asked if I’d like a glass of water with ice (I appreciate small gestures like that) The store was clean, staff lovely and we will be visiting again for our tea party treats. Thank you Tara!

As always the coffee was very tasty. We (the other half and myself) have always found Tara to be lovely and its people like her who keep us coming back. I only wish all of the staff put the customer within there main focus rather than a mobile phone or headset!

Slowest drive through ever! Every time I go here the drive through takes for ever. Tried click and serve today and still sat here 10 mins later....

At this Costa currently the chairs are still relatively clean. Sometimes you have to move the previous persons cups and plates. But on the whole better than other places. Plenty of parking for free. Toilets, again like most Costa shops could use a frequent clean, but again on the whole it’s one of the better ones. Has a variety of food and drink throughout the day. Enjoy.

Stopped off for a hot chocolate on a walk. First time in the new one. Very quiet, good service, handy location.

Service poor more coffee on the tray and napkins than in the glass more interested chatting to colleagues than giving good customer service wouldn't recommend whilst sat down another customer asked for a napkin the member of staff threw the napkin on the tray definatley needs more customer service training . First time we have come into this store and will be the last

As far as new, road-side coffee stops go, this one on the south side of Beverley is pretty good. Plenty of staff on a Saturday afternoon, though the dine-in service wasn’t the quickest I’ve encountered. Will return at some point when we want an easily-accessible stop for coffee.

Great service, good disabled parking, clean toilets etc only downside is the drive through access is really tight especially for larger cars

We called in to have a drink in Costa coffee, not been in this one before , and have to say it was very nice place. Nicely decorated and plenty of comfortable space, and tables and chairs to sit comfortably on. The coffee in costa was excellent as always , and my latte was lovely and creamy. Will definitely call in again if passing this way ,as was like all the Costa coffee shops , clean good service and made to feel welcome. Call in and you wont be dissapointed.

Me and my friend came for a coffee through the drive thru, and the two girls that served us were extremely lovely and accommodating, will be returning again to the Beverley drive thru, as atleast they talk to you unlike other drive thru’s 😁😁

This is a grand new Costa branch and it's lovely. The decor and layout is the standard you'd expect of Costa. It's kept clean and tidy at all times. Ample parking is available as it's not really walking distance. The staff are friendly and produce some great tasting drinks. A very good option for a quick coffee break.
