Had takeaway salt and pepper ribs very nice , chow mein excellent the egg foo Yung a bit plain but overall would recommend.

Excellent Chinese, my children love the lady’s who serve behind they are always so happy to see them. Food is amazing too. 10/10

Best chinese food I have had in years

Just had a takeaway today (19/08/24). Excellent service, quick and polite. Meal was cooked to order in the open kitchen. Always reassuring when you can see the kitchen and how your food is prepared and cooked. This was probably one of the best Chinese meals I’ve had. 5 stars given for all categories as the chef team actually took time to speak to me so they got the “atmosphere“ score. Overall, I would recommend Canton Kitchen if you want a good oriental meal.

Visited this takeaway in August 2024. The chow mein was very good, Singapore noodles were just the right amount of spicy. The menu was fairly typical for a U.K. Chinese takeaway. Cost was fair and the staff were polite and friendly. Recommend.

Just ordered after reading the reviews and enjoyed a mini buffet , noodles , special curry and beef in black pepper , chicken balls , quarter of duck , salt and pepper chips , all lovely dishes can’t fault any of it 👌 also put the some spring rolls in for free and they was really nice , ordered extra curry sauce and glad I did as there was 4 of us , definitely will be using this Chinese again 👌

Ordered food from here tonight. First impression friendly staff on the phone. Order placed and no long wait till a short drive for us. Lovely polite staff upon arrival. The food was piping hot and just as I had ordered. Tasty and delicious so much so even though we were stuffed could have easily eaten more. 🙂

Fantastic Chinese takaway. Wonderful staff, very friendly. If it's not on the menu, ask and they happy to cook what you want. Very clean, kitchen is there to see them cooking. They are rightly proud of what they do and it shows in the food too. My only downside is my holiday is over and we can't come here again for a while. But we will definitely return. Thanks for the lovely food.

We called in for a late night takeaway after arriving in Bridlington for the weekend. We had already seen some of the glowing reviews, and upon arrival could see why the business was rated so highly. The staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, they all came to the counter to say hello and also to wish us a good evening/weekend as we left. The food was lovely, particularly the noodles and salt & pepper chicken. We would definitely visit again if in the area.

Really tasty salt n pepper chicken, probably one of the best I've had , crispy chilli chicken was really good too. Great portion sizes. Down side is they only take cash. Could not fault the food.

Wow, firstly the couple were so happy, friendly and jolly just lovely. Secondly I LOVED watching them cook all our food fresh fascinating. I was so impressed. Thirdly food was just fab, my fav is shredded chilli chicken and a satay sauce and not all Chinese cook these, they cook them and the satay was cooked fresh in front of me not precooked in a pan. There was so much and def value for money. If we lived nearer we’d use this regularly. Def worth 5 stars in all categories, thank you, Cat

Visited Canton Kitchen with our Great Dane on June 1st. Only had 3 main dishes but wow! Salt & pepper ribs - proper little ribs, loads of meat & flavour. King prawns with ginger and spring onions at least 10 decent sized prawns in a delicious sauce with loads of ginger. Beef in cantonese sauce - excellent!! Wish this was our local, as well as the lovely tasty food it was very competitively priced.

Excellent food and service. The salt & pepper spare ribs are superb, best we've had in a long time! Highly recommended. Also the Kung Po chicken. We looked at reviews online & saw this takeaway was rated high compared to others, we're just here for the weekend & it was a great choice & value for money too.

We came yesterday for a takeout, it was very busy and we aren't locals we where visiting an staying at a holiday site. I can see why it was extremely busy now the food was delicious. The staff where lovely and although rushed off their feet they tried to chat to customers especially regulars. You could clearly see the staff where well loved and liked. If in the area again we would definitely return.

First time trying this take away as we usually use kam San, but read the reviews on here and though we would see if it's any good. I ordered a chicken curry with chips. The chips were very brown and the curry was a small portion compared to other Chinese take aways, the chicken was the usual type, the curry sauce was bland and lacked flavour, only had a few small onion bits in too, no peas. I won't use here again and will stick to kam san

Very tasty food, quickly prepared despite being very busy. Loved the king prawn curry packed with prawns and onions. What is nice is the welcome when you enter, even though so busy everyone who entered was welcomed. Based on todays experiance would highly recommend.

House curry nice, fried rice was over cooked like stodgy rice pudding. Kung po dish? I was expecting different bit's of meat in a spicy sauce as it should be, as it is with all other Chinese's i have used for years, only to find, small lumps of meat & Prawns in a potato starch or flour based batter! Soggy batter in sauce? I cannot eat batter hence ordering kung po! I have never seen it prepared like this. 15 minutes late waiting for the order too. First visit and last! Sorry real let down.

On holiday in Bridlington and Google searched Chinese Takeaways. This one came up as one of the best rated. We were not disappointed. We ordered the meal for 2 for £32. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was the best I've had and everything else was spot on. My only issue was that there was far too much food. It would easily feed 3-4 people. My husband disagrees and says you can never have too much of a good thing. We highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Competitively priced takeaway fresh cooked to order. Portion size is reasonable and lots of prawns in the mixed meat dishes. Salt and chilli chips were tasty but not very spicy. Overall very happy with our last minute decision to stop here.

Fantastic food, salt and pepper chips are the best l have tasted, we got takeout two nights in a row it was that good, beef in black bean sauce, special curry and salt and pepper mushrooms so yummy, can’t wait to come back to Bridlington just so we can visit this place, the people running it are so friendly and take great pride in their cuisine and it shows xx

We have been looking for good Chinese cuisine wow did we find it. Enjoyed it so much we got takeaway from here two nights in a row, the Salt and pepper chips are the best, black bean sauce big tick and the special curry another big tick, also salt and pepper mushrooms were yummy we will definitely visit again next time we are on Bridlington friendly lovely people xx

Staying in the local area on holiday, we decided to give this a go, we were not disappointed. we ordered several dishes and we were given complimentary salt & pepper chips! OMG they were lovely, would definitely order them next we visit. Owners were friendly and courteous, food was good VFM and tasty - what's not to like. Give it a go, you wont be disappointed.

Always head here for my Chinese food. This week the Crispy Duck and plum sauce with pancakes was amazing, best ive ever tasted. Our order was ready to collect on time, boxed and ready to take away. Staff very friendly and gave me fortune cookies for my teenage children waiting at home. Fully Covid-19 safe procedures followed. Looking forward to next time, such fresh healthy cooking, thank you. Had Chinese roast pork chow mein today which I always have. It was a real let down. Pork was so fatty & gristle in it. Flavour was not as normal was more like gravy. Having been going for 2yrs this is worse one i have had.

Used to be highly recommended by the locals but not any more, the restaurant changed hands about 2 years ago and is no where near as good as it used to be. If you want a good Chinese takeaway go across town to Emporior Kings or if you are tired when you get there go into the restaurant you won't be disappointed.

This place has changed hands and is not the place it used to be. The meals served up are average in taste and above averge in price. There are better takeaways in the town. All takeaways must remeber its not about price its about taste and value for money - There is a lot of compatition out there.

Tasteless food very greasy not very hot even found bones in fried rice. Too much pepper in curry sauce and chips recooked so couldnt eat them. Best to avoid this takeaway in would never go again, total waste of money.

The only chinese I will eat from in brid. Gorgeous food especially the Vegetable curry, it can be a struggle to get vegetarian food but here they always have something to offer me. Staff are brill too 👍

I used to like to go here as you can see them cook the food but the quality has somewhat gone downhill my shrimp still had poopipe intact and removal prior to cooking requires very little effort , my chips were hard and the curry sauce was watery and the chicken was a tad on the raw side, i vow never to return.

Got recommended by a friend to go try their take away, the foods fantastic, the gentleman on the desk who took our order was very friendly and talkative, would recommend to anyone, fantastic take away

Yes we read the reviews and to be honest the parking was the reason we stopped. We must have driven past two other take-aways to arrive at Canton Kitchen. I have eaten chicken with ginger and spring onions for years in restaurants throughout the world. My partner is the same with king prawn curry. Well we had the old faithfuls with additional salt and pepper spare ribs. The food was really good, fast and very very tasty. It is the best chicken with ginger and Spring onions I have ever had the privilege to eat. Everything was perfect. Having said that, I have read the reviews from a number of people that have eaten excellent food here for many years, but they never put on a review until they had a problem. This just goes to show that negative reviews should be read in context. Eat here and be happy.

I had followed the owners of this Chinese from their last shop to this one. I have been using them for 20 years. In all that time I have never had a bad meal. At the beginning of this year they let it to another family. The meals were hit and miss but I gave them a chance to improve. Tonight hit an all time low. The first time ever I just had two mouthfuls and threw it in the bin. This chips has obviously been reheated, I would say at least three times, and then cooked in oil, with the temperature too low, which just drenched them in oil. This was so much so that you could poor the oil from your plate. The main meal tasted the same with a overbearing taste of oil and poorly thrown together. I had a special and could not taste the difference between chicken and pork it was that bad. It was not just me because my children and partner all threw their meals away after a couple of mouthfuls. I'm sure this Chinese will survive a while on its past reputation but it's days are sadly coming to an end.

Have been using this takeaway for years as we have a caravan in Bridlington always been the best in town but we had a meal on Saturday 17/9/16 and the chicken in all the meals wasn't cooked and was raw. the meal cost £27.00 and went straight in the bin. Will never use again.

I've been using this take away for a few years now but on my last visit I was disappointed. I think theirs new people their and the quality was no way as good as it used to be. I'll try one more and see how they perform.

The best Chinese takeaway in Bridlington ! Very fast service & still the same flavour as Chinese meals where 30 years ago, please don't ever change your recipes :) Perfect.
