Got fish n chips from grovhill road in Beverly and was the worst I have ever had,I could taste burnt batter on the fish which had been cremated will never get chippy in Beverly again as the own them all now.

We have just had a meal in the restaurant, it’s our fist visit despite living in Driffield a number of years, I had the Salmon and it was absolutely delicious, and then home made Bread and Butter Pudding, hubby had the traditional Fish and Chips and again loved it. Staff were very friendly, professional and very customer focused. We will definitely be making a visit again soon.

Takeaway way over priced! What has happened to your fish? Weird fatty batter & not good scraps! You were always my favourite but too expensive & price not justified for taste, quality & quantity. I'd move to Driffield just for this fish and chips shop. Honestly.. we were house,-hunting and checking the location out Driffield is very nice and before driving home popped in for 2 medium fish and chips & curry sauce..best F&C's we've had for ages . And for takeaway they come in a lovely box - most do paper but then the steam rises and falls making everything soggy.. good price - big portions and the utter best golden crispy batter I've ever eaten.. honest review...

Only used the takeaway great chips but fish was well cooked but was absolutely tasteless very disappointed not cheap

I stuck to the table I was eating at, there was part of a paper napkin stuck on the table. Thetables need a ggod clean There was that much fat on the table I played noughts and crosses on the fat. ( I lost)

Very nice place to enjoy sit down Fish and Chips. The Haddock and Chips with Mushy Peas was very tasty. Other dishes are also available. Washed down with a nice bottle of ale.

Always brilliant!! Went and ordered what we wanted. Had a short wait due to being a queue. Placed my order with a lady that I assume was undergoing training as the usual member of staff that took orders was supervising her. Once the items were ready, my order was wrapped in paper and placed into a carrier bag and to me. Unfortunately my order was missing 2 servings of curry sauce didn't get upset about it nor going to mark them down for this as always been spot on before, and I should've noticed that the curry sauces were missing from the bag before I left the shop. Probably a miscommunication between staff, errors do occur. :)

We have been getting our fish and chips from the Pocklington shop for some years, however, without a doubt the fish and chips on Saturday were the BEST EVER. Crispy, tasty, gorgeous!

Have been a regular customer for years, last two visits to both chip shops in Driffield have been disappointing. Not sure if they have changed their batter recipe, but on both occasions the batter was under cooked on the inside resulting in a soggy, doughy mess. It’s an expensive meal now and the standard is not good enough. Will be driving to Wetwang instead.

I love fish and chips and was told this was the place to come. So, found this one on Scarborough Road, Driffield...apparenlty they have a few, but it looked nice with very friendly staff. Took them to eat in the near by park.....what a let down. Swimming in grease and I am not sure what fish it was but it certainly didn't taste like cod or haddock...more like rubber (taste, not texture). Went straight in the bin. My daughter thought she was actually going to be sick after a few mouth fulls. Anyway, won;t be going there again. Off to Dominoes now.

We regularly visit Stuarts’ restaurant in Driffield and the food and the service are always of a consistently high standard. Last weekend we hired Stuarts outside catering for our daughter’s wedding and we were not disappointed. The two fryers/servers had 50 guests eating in record time and were so helpful and friendly. The guests were raving about the food, so I guess we can say it was a total success! They were all further impressed by the sausage and bacon butties served up by Stuarts in the evening. All in all we are so pleased that we chose Stuarts to enhance our special celebration.

Grabbed a takeaway from here on a Saturday evening. Was not disappointed...the fish was slightly greasy but pure white and the chips crispy, with a side serving of mushy peas to round it off. Lovely and good value for money.

Tried here for a change to my favourite spot. I was pleasantly surprised on the quality, size and price. Lovely crisp batter, good sized chips and tasty mushy peas as well. Even though a Friday evening, no delays in getting our dinner!

Sin duda una forma de limitar la conversación.Las bebidas llegaron; en vez de en el manantial de agua producida en Keld (en realidad el nombre de marca en el menú), nos trajeron un desconocido marca de agua de manantial de North Wales!Para rematar la experiencia, mi pancake tibia de mariscos con toda saturado King gambas (Shell) sentado en la cima.Para ser claro, me encanta el marisco de todos los tipos y no tengo ningún problema con peeling langostinos y hemos disfrutado esta manera este plato se sirve en este restaurante varias veces antes.¿Cómo sabía el rey gambas estaba saturado? Tan pronto como me intentó sacar la cabeza, agua sludgy marrón y un olor de amoníaco que elija te hartes salió. La gamba nórdica pasó a mi plato y, al no haber podido atraer la atención de uno de varios camareros durante toda la comida, no nos atraen su atención cuando la camarera venía a recoger los platos.Yo le pregunté a pedir el chef a oler el langostino equina ya que era sin duda y habría hecho cualquiera que había comido muy mal.Al solicitar la factura nos cobraron precio completo de toda la comida. Le pregunté si el chef ya había comentado en la gamba nórdica y que ella (posiblemente el propietario esposa?) dijo que tenía y había dicho que era sólo 2 días de edad y estaba bien! Yo le pregunté si se había visto en el plato me envió y dijo, "Sí, con el salvar el tipo de cosas que! ".Sí, en retrospectiva, no me hubiera gustado que me había tomado una foto de lo que añadir a esta crítica, aunque incluso que no proporcionar el tipo olor acre de amoníaco de una gamba nórdica claramente no en su más frescos.** Servicio de atención al cliente en su peor. Mariscos que no era fresco y un riesgo para la salud. La peor parte, no obstante, que pasan de todo **asqueroso, asqueroso desagradable.

Metimos en para el almuerzo. Las normas nunca dejar. Pescado tan fresco que literalmente se deshace en la boca. El personal es profesional, pero amable, servicial y agradable. Restaurante estaba lleno, como siempre. Nos encanta por su sencillez y frescura de los alimentos. No tienes que comer durante una semana después de visitar Stuarts. Es una buena comida británica en su mejor momento y nunca nos ha decepcionado. Excelente relación calidad-precio.

Fish and chips nice. Customer service not so nice! You are greated literally as a "next!"! No interest in conversation or social interaction, just your order. Go to Railway street. They know how to talk to customers........and get them back!

Todo esto por 7.50 libras para mayores de 60 años. Es hora de comer y por la noche también. Un gran aparcamiento está situado en la calle principal, que es gratis, lo que hace una diferencia.El servicio es siempre amable y eficiente, buenas raciones sirve té caliente con mucho que se puede beber. Estuvimos allí cuando abrió sus puertas a las 5 de la tarde del viernes, en el momento en que la izquierda todas las mesas en el restaurante habían tomado. Una buena indicación de que están haciendo algo bien.Sin duda vale la pena si te encanta el pescado y patatas fritas.

A real friendly welcome to this very clean fish and chip restaurant on a wet Monday lunchtime. We had the special that was on offer, this consisted of fish, chips, peas bread and butter and tea. The fish was white and encased in a beautiful light batter and the chips were crisp with a soft inside. The peas were served in a ramekin and the bread was both white and brown on the plate. Everything was cooked to perfection and this could possibly be the best ever tasting fish and chip meal that we have ever been fortunate enough to taste. We were then presented with a desert menu which had Trifle, Bread and Butter pudding, Sticky Toffee pudding, Syrup sponge pudding and a couple of other choices, which were served with Custard or cream There was a pot of tea and a pot of water, All well presented and real value for money at £7,50 each, reservations can be made and I fully recommend you do because it has a regular clientele and the restaurant soon gets full but give this place a try, you won't be disappointed. There is also a teatime special. We were so pleased that we called back the following Friday and had the same exceptional service. Enjoy.
