La comida era excelente. La relación calidad-precio era genial. Porciones buenas. ¡Batidos preciosos! El servicio fue excelente, muy amable y también nos dio postres gratis.
Popped in for a latte and ended up have the Banana & Toffee Crepe…… absolutely delicious 😋 Very friendly, very clean amazing food… what more can you ask for??
Possibly the worst pub meal I've ever had. Scampi chips and peas. The peas were like bullets; it takes real effort to ruin frozen peas. The scampi was undercooked and like mush. The only positive was the chips, which were good. Another person at the table had the chippie feast which came with stale bread and when she asked for it to be replaced they brought more stale bread. The cook clearly doesn't care or have any pride in what they serve up.
We decided to come here for some Sunday lunch, we were greeted with have you booked? We said no (wasn’t aware we had to) but we will happily sit outside, he said ok well we are fully booked and the restaurant will get priority and receive their food first (the restaurant was empty), we said ok that’s fine. After deciding what to eat we came back to order to which there was now a woman behind the bar, we said can we order please to which the reply we got very abruptly was order what? We then chose to leave and eat elsewhere. This seems to be a very ‘clicky’ place and the staff do not seem to like or welcome new customers, so if you are deciding to eat here, don’t! I have never experienced such rude and unprofessional staff. There are plenty of other nice places nearby who will be happy for your custom!
I have visited this well-established pub many times before which is now under new management.
My experience: Pleasant staff & relaxed atmosphere.
My dinner: Fish & chips with peas & a cup of tea, all for the value of £15.95.
However, I have never had fish & chips before served without bread & butter, but here there simply wasn't any available, & not just a one-off where someone had forgotten to order the bread, but because when I enquired I was told that no one ever bothers to order any. How shocking is that.
The Fish & chips were delicious, but no bread available - disgusting, in my opinion & so was the reason for not having any made available.
Get your act together please.

A nice place for a coffee while waiting for a train, as the station is just across road. Or if you just want a coffee and cake while in town. Helpful staff, good coffee. Will visit again.
We were welcomed and dealt with efficiently, it’s always good to have a positive first impression for the visit. We had a lovely table, three of us sat at a four seater table and there was plenty of room (important to us because mum is elderly and has dementia). The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, it was warm and cozy. Food was served very quickly and was lovely. I look forward to going again.
Me and my husband got married here on Friday 23rd May 2025 and we had a twilight wedding. I have to say from start to finish everything was absolutely amazing! The room where we got married was out of this world beautiful, the room we had our night do in was also stunning, the food, the music, everything was just absolutely amazing! The staff couldn’t do enough for us to make sure we had an excellent day and Jenny made sure we felt at ease with everything and made the day run smoothly! The room we stayed in was immaculate and the bed was so comfy! We had the most amazing day thanks to the gardeners country inn! We would highly recommend! Thanks so much, from Mr and Mrs Matos-Gois! We will be back soon for some food!
P.S. sorry again about the bubbles 🤦🏼♀️

Best place to watch sport on their excellent selection of tvs. Food is well priced and really good. The staff are welcoming and friendly. There's a good atmosphere in this popular pub.
Had Sunday lunch yesterday. Excellent price, huge amount of lovely tender turkey. The meal was really hot and great value. Pudding of brownie and ice cream was unbeatable. Love the vibe in this pub. Friendly staff and a great selection of drinks. Always busy always great service!
Nice welcome friendly staff. Limited gluten free options staff were unsure if items could be adapted to be gluten free. They said there was a risk of cross contamination so not suitable for ceolliac. Food that we had was well cooked and tasty.

Absolutely stunning food. They serve the best curry sauce I've ever tasted. Went here whilst on holiday at the coast and I'm tempted to plan a day trip just so I can have their fish & chips again!

This is a standard Premier Inn with the normal levels of comfort in the rooms. Next to a service station, so convince of fast food and shops near by. Not a glamorous location though.
