Excellent food, prices and service. Chips like you’d make at home. Proper food. It’s clean and I’d love to try the cakes on another visit.

Sadly went for a Sunday visit to Bridlington and were surprised to see that Taffy's has now closed. The messages online posted by the owners (Sharon and Chris) informed everyone that it was because of Chris's health issues. Really sorry to see them go... We would like to wish them good luck for the future

I called with a friend for a light lunch. There was only two other people in at the time. The cafe had a damp smell to it. We both ordered a jacket potato, mine was with tuna mayo. I was offered a side salad with it which I accepted, this came in a very small bowl. The potato duly arrived. This was also in a dish and only just fitted in, the mayo wAs a bit runny. I would have preferred it on a plate so that I could have had my salad next to it. While I was eating it (warm) I put a blob of margarine in my mouth that had not melted and this did not taste very pleasant. I was put off so did not finish the lunch. When the lady came to take our dishes she asked if everything was ok. I pointed out that it would have been nice to have had my potato on a plate so that I could add my salad (although meagre) to it and that I had been put off by margarine not melted in the potato so maybe ask customers if they would like butter or not. The lady was very put out and said that she had been opened 17years and no one had ever said that to her, I said that she should take it as constructive criticism. I’m not sure that she knew what I meant. Needless to say this cafe will not be visited by me and my friend ever again.

A very dull and dreary place. On a rainy day in Brid it really was depressing. The place cannot have been decorated for at least the past 30 years. It must survive on the tourist trade as it's hard to believe anyone would make a return visit. The food was very basic but perfectly adequate and reasonably priced. The lady serving us was lovely, very friendly and welcoming.

Called there for breakfast. Friendly service food was cooked perfectly and was to our liking. The decor, furniture and cleanliness make it a pleasant and comfortable cafe to visit.

Bridlington is a 35 mile each way trip from our home, but my wife and I try and make the trip at least once a month for breakfast at Traffy's Tea Room. The owners are always welcoming, the food is delivered hot, and of a high quality, the tea seems almost endless, served in a large china teapot with hot water on the side. If in Bridlington give it try, I am sure you will return

First impression on entering is a quaint tea room Though quiet I studied the menu whichvthough basic did not offer traditional afternoon tea which this establishment would flourish in offering to its customers The gentleman dressed in a Leeds United shirt is rather off putting while serving customers. With the correct dress and presentation a lesson in catering for traditional cafe fare would increase the popularity of this cafe. And bring in tourism Certainly potential in the right hands

This is such a lovely little place to eat! We came here on the last day of our holidays for our breakfast and we weren't disappointed! The cafe itself is very sweet and homely and the owners very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and also a good price! We will certainly be coming back in August when we're on holiday again!

Found this tearoom last year We knew we had to return this year. The couple are lovely, very helpful, helped us with the wheelchair, moved the chairs for us and held onto the door, even offered to get my nana in. The tea is the best. My son loved their sausage and bacon sandwiches. Shame they are closed on a Friday, or we would have been in everyday

We have walked past here on lots of occasions therefore we wanted to try this tea room out. The lady that served us was lovely and very accommodating. Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Great tea pots and plenty of hot water to refill which you don’t get everywhere usually have to ask. We didn’t have a dessert but they looked tempting! We will definitely try again.

A gem of a cafe, lovely staff, quality food. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, even making up a takeaway salad box and a sandwich to be collected later. Plus the cafe is dog friendly....

We visited over Easter and loved all the little chocolate eggs hidden around the cafe - kept the kids entertained whilst they waited for their food! Lovely cafe with a great menu. We ordered a range of different food but loved the halloumi burger and cheeseburger especially. It’s great that dogs are allowed in this cafe but as we don’t own a dog, even better that there are two areas - one for dogs and one where dogs aren’t allowed. Service was quick and with a smile, reasonably priced too for restaurant quality food. The only improvement needed is the toilet area - could do with a update!

Stuck a pin in a ( google) map to find a breakfast one hour away from leaving holiday accommodation. What a find. Interesting decor showed off the home made cakes and savouries whilst we waited a few minutes for a table. Breakfast avocado with poached eggs on sourdough bread, sun dried tomatoes, chorizo and pea shoots was divine and substantial. Staff were friendly and obviously enjoyed serving and cooking as much as we enjoyed eating. Make a detour. Worth every mile and every penny.
