Warton Arms in East Riding of Yorkshire

Not been for years and decided to drop in on way home from Bridlington. Fantastic service excellent food and great price. Our son enjoyed his food and asked if we can return soon rather them toby cavery.

So impressed with food and service. Come quite regularly with family and friends.

We had a meal here for my step daughters 18th birthday. There was 30 of us and we were sat in the lovely conservatory. The service was brilliant and the food was lovely. Staff brought out my step daughters birthday cake so we could all sing happy birthday to her. Had a really lovely experience and would definitely recommend.

Had lunch today food not the best fish was grey chips and much peas cold meat pie not worth the money

Stopped by on our way somewhere. We ordered food and drinks, and the service was great and welcoming. We ordered food which turned up quite quickly. The nachos that we ordered have some kind of weird cheese, but the rest was OK. Had chip and fish and scampi and chips. There are plenty of portions. Overall, it was a nice pub

Lovely food 100% will go here again, just the 1 hour wait for the food to arrive seemed excessive. Was told wait time would be 45min upon ordering, which accepted and admittedly it was busy when we arrived, but soon dispersed.

Excellent quality food and drink along with friendly staff and efficient service.

So much to say, staff are extremely courteous, food is excellent, hot and plentiful. As a party of 5 we arrived Sunday at 12:30 and it soon filled up, wonderful atmosphere, clean and very well maintained. I don't live close by but I would travel again as it's highly rated by all of us.

Lovely pub food . I would return but only with the voucher offer. Pub is nice, staff are nice too.

We live just four miles away from The Warton Arms and drive past regularly. It took a flyer coming through our letterbox to prompt us to visit. For a tea time treat the food was excellent, reasonably priced and with a decent selection. We chose the regular mixed grill and the Ultimate southern fried burger. The mixed grill was well thought out and [the steak] cooked to order. We both chose a desert to finish off and we were very impressed overall. We'll definitely be back soon.

The Philly steak sandwich was so tough. Nobody came across and asked if food was ok. Will not be returning. Disappointing and overpriced

I booked in advance for a birthday celebration and from start to finish I couldn't have asked more. Service was excellent given how busy it was, and the food was lovely. It was a family friendly atmosphere and the day was enjoyed by us all (21) altogether. There was plenty of parking and I'd definitely recommend.

We were greeted promptly and shown to our table . The food was quick and good quality. The staff were efficient and courteous. All round a very good experience.

It’s a lovely place with a great Sunday dinner selection. We are new parents so it’s a nice place to take our new baby and visiting family and friends

We were a party of 20 adults and 3 children in the conservatory. They did a great job bringing out the food. It was of a high standard and generous portions. We will definitely be back there again. Well done kitchen staff it couldn’t have been an easy task !! Also thanks to Issie front of house.

Came for lunch with a friend and her little boy. Great choice of food, large portions and reasonably priced. My steak was cooked to perfection and my friend really enjoyed the chicken burger. Her little boy loved the cheese extra on his meal and playing with the stickle bricks from the toy boxes. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Overall a fantastic pub with a lovely family atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

Went to the Warton Arms for Boxing Day lunch, 2-4pm sitting. The whole afternoon went without a hitch, the staff were fantastic and extremely attentive, the food was very tasty and well presented and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Always a great experience. Friendly staff, good food. Good for kids. Good choice of gins. Very lucky to have a great pub locally. They always put on fun events, especially for kids. Pricing is very fair.

The whole family joined santa for breakfast today, it was fantastic! We had a fab time and the staff were so welcoming and festive.

Booked a table for 3 people online, easy to do. Warmly greeted and shown to our table. Pub warm, cosy and xmas decorations very nicely done. Plenty to choose from the menu and drinks. Ordered at the bar and the food came around 15 mins later. We had the light lunch fish and chips which was really good. All the staff friendly and helpful. We stayed around 2 hours and will definitely be going back very soon.

Lovely place to have a bite to eat and drink. Very warmly welcome plenty of spaces to sit. Good choice of foods. Enjoyed the festive menu this time round.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I was so disappointed with the food here that I felt compelled to share my experience. I visited with a group of four, and our first impression was that the place looked lovely, albeit quite pricey for a pub. We had high hopes, but unfortunately, the experience fell short from the start. Our drinks took about 15-20 minutes to arrive, and I had to go back to the bar to follow up. When the food came, it looked average at best. Two of us ordered steaks, one had gammon, and the other chose the mixed grill. Sadly, we were all thoroughly dissatisfied. My steak was tough, overcooked, and not a good quality cut of sirloin—certainly not worth the nearly £20 price tag. My friend’s steak, on the other hand, was undercooked. The mixed grill was clearly made from frozen, bulk-bought ingredients, and my partner’s gammon was tough and overly fatty. For the price, this is simply unacceptable. If you’re charging premium prices, you should deliver quality food and get the basics right. Using cheap frozen ingredients and failing to cook a steak properly is a recipe for disaster—and that’s exactly what we paid over £100 for. The chocolate cake was the final letdown. It tasted stale and seemed like a store-bought dessert. At that point, we all regretted not opting for Wetherspoons, where the food is half the price and far better quality. On the positive side, the pub itself is beautifully decorated for Christmas, and the ambiance is charming. It has potential to be fantastic, and I’ve heard it used to be much better, which is why we decided to visit. But with food this bad, I cannot recommend it. Save your money and eat elsewhere.

We were made to feel very welcome when we first arrived, we were ushered to our table which was set out really nicely. The menu has a lot to offer and something for everyone. We had Excellent customer service, the food was hot, presented lovely and tasted amazing.. compared to my last visit Warton Arms has got so much better, I hardly recognise the place.. Well done everyone, we will definitely be back!.

The Warton Arms offers everything we need for a casual lunch out with family; a warm welcoming environment with plenty of options for those with allergies, modestly priced, and well staffed. There is also ample parking which makes it less stressful with less mobile family members or the little ones!

Lovely cosy atmosphere inside, myself and my friend booked a table and had a dog with us, we were shown to a dog friendly area which was nice and relaxing and tucked away in the corner which was perfect for the dog to relax and lie on the floor without being in the way. We ordered via the QR code on the table and food was delicious and arrived in a good time

This pub is very cosy inside and the staff are really nice. There are also places to sit outside and some are undercover. The food is ok. It is a shame that they don't have the specials like they used to.

Always a great night at Warton Arms. Emma is a great host and always makes sure the place runs like clockwork. All staff very friendly and happy to help. Food is lovely and very reasonably priced. Jason quiz master makes the evening fun and entertaining. A great place!

Staff started hovering next to our table at 22:30 when I had booked a table until 23:00 and I mean the waitress could've joined our table , our table spent a lot of money that night and every single one of us was pushed out by the staff at 22:45 . An absolute disgrace . Never again. Oh if you want food find the priemer shop .

We often visit this pub for our tea. The food is standard pub fayre but always good and the service is provided with a smile! The place is often busy although there are quite a few tables. It can be quite noisy as it is very suitable for families. The price is reasonable and they often have special offers which are worth looking out for.

Really excellent value Sunday Lunch, monster portions, couldn’t fault it. Kirsty, our server, was excellent. We will back. Recommended.

Friday evening and we sat in a largely empty pub. The service was quick and comprehensive the food was hot but my steak was supposedly sirloin but largely inedible. I did say so to the waitress but was still charged full price for it. I won't be rushing back
