The Warton Arms is a very friendly place and an additional attraction for me is you can take your dog. Being a dog friendly pub means a great deal to me and my friends as our pooches can be part of our celebrations. The service is excellent and the food delicious.

Great food and service from the staff throughout, this was our first time visiting in over a year due to poor quality food previously however we had heard about an improvement and was keen to see if this was true. Our visit did not disappoint, the menu was vastly improved and the food was excellent, we will definitely be coming back again.

The food is very good. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. I meet up with a group of friends every month and we always have a lovely time.

The Warton Arms is a fantastic spot with delicious food, especially their standout burgers. The staff are always warm and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. To top it all off, they offer a great selection of beers, making it the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed meal or drink with friends.

Visited a few months ago. Beautiful pub with lovely outside seating. Good food and atmosphere. Made to feel welcome by Emma the manager who was knowledgeable about the menu and made sure that the staff looked after us. We were made to feel very welcome. Will certainly visit again.

Recently visited the Warton Arms and was very impressed with value and quality of service. Great menu and range of drinks. Atmosphere was brilliant and a special thanks to Emma and the team for being very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be returning at the earliest opportunity and would recommend it if your in the area!

Rude staff but good food and fast service

Beverley Community lift have been bringing a group of elderly people to the Warton Arms every month for almost a year. Our passengers have nothing but praise for Emma and her team, they are always very welcoming and will go out of their way to ensure everyone has everything they need to make their day.

Tasty, reasonably priced food. A great atmosphere and dog friendly too . What more could you ask for.

Held wedding reception in the function room, Ryan and Chloe, were absolute stars from start to Finnish, couldn’t of ask for anything more, food, service and room were all 5 star Thankyou so much Would highly recommend

Easy to book and the table was reserved on arrival. Service was fantastic all staff were friendly and speedy but made sure I was their only focus. A good varied menu meant that everyone in the party was catered for. The pub was clean with ample parking and the outside was well kept as well. The food was hot and fresh and served well presented and by polite friendly staff. The time from ordering to service was perfect and it was really nice to not be interpreted during the meal to see if we were happy with the food we were guzzling down! The time between courses was also spot on! An excellent dining experience.

I booked a table for 12 people for what I thought was today but I made a mistake and had booked it for next weekend by mistake, when we realised the staff were really quick to put some tables together to accommodate us. Our table was in a dark corner near a old fireplace but had enough space was awkward getting in and out depending where you sat but I'd made a mistake and the staff did their best to make space for us. Once we'd all arrived, we chose our food one of our party went to place the order so it was altogether the roast dinners wasn't available but it was 5.30pm so expect that on a Sunday. Our starters took a while to arrive, the first starter arrived 10 minutes before the last so the first starters where cold. One of the starters was a children's garlic bread which literally was a slice of a garlic baguette sould really have stated this on the menu as it was for a 11 year old. We waited ages for the plates to be cleared then was waiting forever for the food to arrive, one of our party got up to ask where to food was and was told it would be about 10 minutes and told the pub was busy which we understood but other tables had come in after us and eaten and left while we was still waiting. It took a little while longer but wasn't waiting much longer than the 10 minutes. When the food arrived we didn't have cutlery so asked for some it was slammed on the table by the waitress, we was asked if that was everything to which we said no we were still waiting on a lasagne and a side of onion rings the lasagne arrived the waitress flashed us all a mucky looks and walked away then another came and told us that the onion rings wasn't ordered correctly and would take another 5 minutes. The lasagne should have come with salad and garlic bread and we ordered extra fries got chips but no salad. The chicken and chorizo was explained on the menu as chicken with a potatoes cooked with chorizo served with a marinara sauce and tenderstem broccoli it was a frozen ready cooked chicken breast, with roasted potatoes a little marinara sauce poured over and frozen broccoli florets not tenderstem and some cremated chorizo that was literally black and hidden under the chicken. When we spoke to a waitress we was told that's how it's served!! We have been before knew this was a pub not a restaurant but good god the standard of the food was awful the staff was damn right rude and the manager was sat on his backside on a laptop most of the time we where there. Would not recommend

I took my Dad who has Alzheimers here for lunch and it was fabulous. Bobby greeted us on arrival, she was polite, friendly and respectful. It was clean and tidy. The food was delicious, and my Dad loved it, would definitely go there again. Perfect.

We found the Warton Arms a very attractive looking pub with good car parking. The interior was clean and well laid out and the staff very welcoming. The menu was quite comprehensive suiting our requirements completely, see definitely will visit again.

Food was nice but lacking quality and flavour. Example the chicken kebab was presented well but was lacking in actual meat quantity. And price was a bit steep for a chicken salad on a flat bread. Yorkshire pudding was like cardboard and unedable but cheese, leek and potato pie was nice.

Food was so nice and super quick service, I’ve been before and always come back, but this time it was a four star as the coffee machine was broken and we didn’t get a refund, just something different which was cheaper.

Always as exspeted and always very good service

The place is really nice and a great atmosphere, staff are really friendly. My only problem is the lunches are not very good, for 5 people it was a lot of money wasted. The Sunday lunches cost £13.95 and for that amount of money you would expect a decent amount, but it wasn't. The chicken dinner I got was awful and had no flavour the gravy was see through, the little amount of stuffing I got was cold, the Yorkshire pudding was so dry that it turned to powder in your month, and the vegetables where not cooked and the chicken was so dry I think it had been cooked for way to long. The beef and turkey dinners where also the same. Will not be returning for another dinner at this pub again.

We went for the quiz and it was really good fun. The lady doing it was brilliant, such a laugh. The food was good. My desert was missing its cream but no big deal. The food was good value overall. The pub has had a refurb since I had last been and it looks nice. Would definitely do the quiz again. Only minor issue was one of our friends had a discount code as a return visitor and we couldn’t use it on the web ordering so we had to go to the bar, could’ve been easier if it was able to accept voucher codes on the web ordering service. Great overall :)

Very friendly greeting on arrival and quickly shown to Pre booked table. Went specifically for lunch and really enjoyed the quality of the food. I had been sent a promotional voucher which is why I booked. I'm not sure if I would go and pay full price but as a one off it was excellent.

Even though the place was packed the service was very good although the starter did take a bit longer than should have happened.Overall the food was excellent and we did have a disagreement over the total bill,but that was easily resolved.My biggest critisism was that I did ask as it was my wife's 60th birthday to sit near the fire and it didn't happen and I was a bit aggrieved,especially as I was the first person to book Christmas Day lunch at The Wharton Arms.

It's just so hard to get vegan options. We thought this place would have had a few that weren't so generic. We don't always eat chickpea/lentil curry or the infamous burger. We ended up having chips and starters. Which were very poor in terms of portion size. It's not hard to get hold of vegan food items,cheese,bacon, sausages. If there are true chefs in these kitchens,then why aren't they being creative? Do they even cook in the kitchen? Or is it all deep fried or microwaved? That aside ,the staff were warm and welcoming .

A very average experience. Staff were very slow to greet us and acknowledge our table booking with several members of staff marching past and not even looking up. I appreciate things can be busy but as with many of my gripes it was clearly not just business but a lack of training or wanting to bother. When we were eventually acknowledged the staff member seemed to be a little annoyed that we had a child with us and cordially told someone else that we'd have to be on a different table now as we couldn't be in the over 18s area. Not a problem but we couldn't specify on the booking so not our fault and like most of the staff interactions we just felt a bit of an issue for having turned up. Staff should be trained to maintain a more pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. When we were seated we chose our meals and waited for someone to take our order as the pub was table service a few weeks before. Having then noticed the QR codes everywhere it seemed things had changed - someone really could have mentioned that as it would have made it less of a puzzle for us. We had to ask what to do as we had a voucher and suffered another cold interaction. Most of the food was fine but one of the party had a Sunday dinner which was very second-hand looking. Grey potatoes, stuffing which looked like it seen better days and near raw carrots with dirty skin on them. Meals were also served 3 out of 5 first with at least a 5 minute gap between for the other 2 to appear. It doesn't sound long but it feels it when you sit there waiting! Overall any of the individual things doesn't seem much and it's hard to describe the vibe of the place well in a few sentences but the staff could do with a better more genuine approach to customer service. I wouldn't say they were unfriendly but it just wasn't a nice feeling interacting with them. At least we didn't have to ask for a bill! I don't thing we'll be going back any time soon.

Got to do this update....we go every Friday too eat and drink.....we feel sooo comfortable.....lovely food....just really relaxing atmosphere. Had an amazing couple of parties...Halloween and N Y.E....absolutely awesome night...Christmas Dinner was wonderful....you are made to feel so welcome.....Bobby is simply wonderful...and what a chef..her foods the best...shes one amazing woman ♥️ Chloe and Sophia brilliant both of you....thank you for the invites Emma and Jason...lovely couple....guys this is a real fabulous pub.....a must if you haven't been before...the highlight of our week to be honest...sending lots of love and gratitude for going that extra mile....don't get service and home comforts like this anywhere else. Enjoyed our visit. I haven't been here for a long while. I was a regular and saw it change hands 4 times. Now it's different again I hardly recognised it inside.

Can’t afford to go out normally but I choose this venue for my birthday meal because I have never had a bad meal here and I was proved right. Was fantastic food and amazing staff.

The staff were VERY helpful, polite,considerate and worked hard to look after us. The food was brilliant - hot fresh and delicious. Most of us had the special offer which was a steak meal and inclusive drinks. Bonni was our helpful server

Came for Sunday lunch, upon first glance the prices where a little high but that was soon forgotten when you see what you get for the price, definitely value for money and the food is incredible the Yorkshire puddings (10/10) shout out to whoever makes them, all in all great experience will be returning

Visited with my husband and our 2 Autistic children. The staff Bobby & Ellie couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating!....such a rare thing to find I can tell you! They let us ammend and adapt the menu and plating choices which was just so helpful for both kids who don't like foods touching etc Our main meals a spicy burger, a chicken burger and a lasagne were just beautiful and they are huge portions! The french fries were fantastic! Clean venue, accessible toilets, plenty of parking Well done to the staff Bobbie and Ellie who kept checking in and THANKYOU. We would visit again.

The high chairs are really not good enough or safe enough for young babies. There seemed to be only one member of staff on the bar which was not ideal. The food was lovely and the staff were pleasant. We enjoyed our experience overall for my Nan's birthday. The food was very nice.
