Excellent Sunday roast, excellent service. We will be back. Our reserved table was near the door which was a bit draughty asked to be moved to another table which wasn't a problem. Very accommodating, very friendly staff.

We thoroughly enjoyed dining here. Our dinners of curry and beef stroganoff were delicious, with ample portions. The lobster/shrimp salad starter was great! Very friendly staff. Nice bar and setting. Our cocktails and wine were very good.

Ice cream can be enjoyed any time of the year! On Christmas Eve, I got a tub of Baileys Cheesecake gelato…how festive! And yes- it did taste of Baileys!

I've never tasted Chinese food so amazing and the experience was so much value for money. The staff and owners are so kind and friendly. I've tasted a lot of Chinese food and this place is Miles above the rest!! Thank you for an amazing food and hospitality experience 😊

We sampled the Christmas dinner menu today. The meal and the service were brilliant. I had the Beef option and my wife had the Turkey pie. Good portions with extra veg if required. Everything was hot, perfectly cooked and very tasty. We will be back! Thank you.

Fantastic pub, with a warm welcome and friendly staff. Went with friends and family to see live bands and the atmosphere was amazing. Safe and clean.

We decided to have a lunch stop in Malton and noticed the Bistro so headed inside, which is clean and well decorated. Service was a little slow but the waitress was friendly. After placing our orders the food took a long, long while to arrive, we were very hungry by the time it reached our table. My smothered chicken baguette was extremely dry and bland, my friend’s steak baguette was dry and chewy. We enjoyed the fries ! . The restaurant was very chilly inside, making us feel rather uncomfortable. Maybe we just chose a bad day to eat here, as most reviewers seem delighted.

My son took me to Swiss Cottage as a treat for my birthday. The food was awesome, the restaurant was warm and friendly. Jill was a pleasure. This really is a little gem in Hornsea that should be raved about a lot more.

Best breakfast in Beverley (in my opinion) Both myself & partner had a 'Breakfast Board' each. Amazing quality & excellent presentation sausage, perfectly crispy bacon, black pudding served with beans, roasted cherry tomatoes, 2 fried eggs & hash browns plus ample toast with butter all served piping hot. We are regular visitors & love the variety on both the regular menu& specials board.

Wow the food here is absolutely delicious and all freshly made. Can't fault anything here, staff were really lovely and the cafe is spotless. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. A hidden gem.

we had a cake and found numerous animal hairs in it. the tall dark haired woman appeared rude and not really wanting to be there: doing a lot of moaning not a great atmosphere and i question their food hygiene standards when it comes to baked goods
