Great greens and value for money

We dropped up on this absolute delite of a pub on holiday last year, and we ended up eating there the whole week, the food is traditional home cooked tasty food, we have continued to return there whenever we've been holiday, you know what your going to get and that is the best food and the best service, and I love that when you book a table they also add the name of your dog on the table, it's just the little things, super dog friendly, and super people friendly, we felt very welcome and have done each time we've returned, if you are in the area give them a try you'll not be disappointed, well be back soon hopefully on our next trip

We decided to pop in for lunch as the cafe owners had launched a new menu. All I can say is wow! We had burgers and chips plus a big slab of cake for dessert. Even our vegetarian 11year old daughter enjoyed the food and she is really picky. Thank you we will be back again.

The staff were lovely but the place itself needs a good clean as it was really grubby and there was Christmas decorations up still in march. Food was gross to be honest I’m not sure how people are saying it’s nice! Tasted like the grill hadn’t been cleaned in months and food was reheated, cheap quality and when reheated was burned. Just gross to be honest and over £70 for the pleasure- expensive and bad quality- I’d definitely avoid.

Nice welcome friendly staff. Limited gluten free options staff were unsure if items could be adapted to be gluten free. They said there was a risk of cross contamination so not suitable for ceolliac. Food that we had was well cooked and tasty.

What a lovely place. Felt so welcoming from the get go . Staff was super friendly and attentive. Was amazing with my little girl. The food was top notch . Will definitely be coming back. Keep up the great work 👍

I have eaten in the Stables Kitchen twice recently and I am impressed by the food, the cafe itself and the people too. We had sandwiches, which were fresh, tasty, generously filled in a nice bread and the pot of tea was nice too. Thank you so much for getting in right, so many cafes don't. I look forward to my next visit.

The food was okay. the service was a little slow due to the same person running the bar plus being a waiter, and the atmosphere was quite flat, probably due to the restaurant area being virtually empty. It was also cold so, please turn the heating up for the customers.

Advertised as £10 bottle of processco not the case false advertising said processco weekend was charged £17 for bottle plus pint lager. When asked was told is had changed if it had changed then should have a notice up saying so

Excellent service; first class person and machine; prompt, efficient and skill full. No supervision necessary and took extra care to consult when finished.

A warm welcome from staff, quick service, lovely food. We had fish and chips, ultimate chicken burger and the steak pie and chips. Cannot fault the food. The pub is spacious and nice and warm inside. Will definitely be back!! 🥰
