The Nagshead in East Riding of Yorkshire

Wonderful hospitality, bar staff very welcoming and friendly. Food was yummy, the gammon was juicy and tender, the ultimate southern fried chicken burger was a really good size for the pricing and really nice. Overall would recommend on coming here for food!

Twice been and basically turned away as no tables free, despite no one at the tables . Second time few in and was told 40 minute wait for food . We won’t be visiting again .

I was travelling to meet family and thought we would try the nags head, It is a very central location for us. The food is always good now as the head chef is fantastic at their job. We were seated by an equally great member of staff in Jenny, our drinks were served to us by the amazing G. Nice clean pub, great food and fantastic staff. You would be foolish to miss out on such an experience. 10/10 every time.

Was disappointed with food, the chips were greasy, the chicken looked enimic and looked pre bought in, my beer battered onion rings came out squashed and over cooked and greasy. When the waitress came over and asked if everything was OK and I said no and told her what I'd left and why and the only reply I got was sorry about that! I said I can't belive the chef would let a £15.99 meal go out looking like it did. Never will we go again poorly executed food.

We always use nags head, it has become our regular place for food. The staff are always polite and the food is always really good. I have had most things off the menu now and they all seem to be as good as the last. Nice clean and tidy pub with a vibrant atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible customer service table did not fit full party had to wait for new table to become available. Food ordered at 7.33 and arrived at ten past nine. Food was nice and hot when arrived, manager brought us all complimentary desserts after complaining.

Sat down to dirty table asked for it to be cleared an hour later it was not cleaned tho. Very busy which is great to see. Very understaffed. Food came was warm at best extremely disappointing would we return or recommend probably not.

We arrived at a busy time after being unable to find a pub with room for our family of 7. Beth greeted us and although they did not have room she managed to get us two tables next to each other. Beth continued to look after us all night, asking us about our celebrations for the evening and making sure we were comfortable. The food took a little while to come but was lovely.

3 of us attended, I sent my meal back because the rare steak I wanted was well done, and chewy and fatty. The waitress simply said “what is wrong with it” then took it with no comment. When I went to pay I assume who is the manager, started the conversation with “I don’t understand how it was undercooked when you wanted it rare”. So I proceeded to tell him how it was over cooked, chewy and bitty. Just obviously a bad piece of steak. To which he made a disgruntled face, and no apology and took my payment. Really bad customer service. The rest of the meals were ok though.

It is a while since we visited the Nags Head and it has really improved. The food on the carvery was all freshly cooked, the turkey and beef were tender with and an adequate selection of vegetables to choose from it was a tasty meal. The gravy could have done to have been thicker though/ The pub was warm and comfortable and as we don't live far away we will be back to try some of the 2 for ones on the main menu.

Two of went to the Nags Head for lunch, we haven't been in years as we found the quality of our last visit to be poor so we gave it a miss, we decided to try again in the hope it had improved but sadly not.

Did a google search for ‘where to have a roast dinner locally’ and happy this place came up!!

Today we called in to The Nags Head for Sunday Lunch and Wow ...What a delightful place ..A very Warm Welcome from the Landlord Chris ..and his staff were excelent ..The Food from the Sunday Carvery was fantastic ...especially the Good Old Yorkshire Puddings that had certainly Risen ...This place is a must for anyone on the East Coast wanting a truly wonderful meal ..and 2 for 1 at that ...10 out of 10 for every aspect ...we certainly will be going again ...Soon ..

Took a punt and pulled over as kids getting hungry and bored after a couple of hours in the car. Staff very friendly and helpful for our particular needs. Price was good for what we had and the food was good for what we wanted. Burgers and the like. Decent San Miguel. Would call in if knowingly passing in the future. Thanks

Service was just about adequate as there were only 2 waiting staff for a busy evening, I have to say though these two ladies were cheerful and friendly. We were informed that there would be a forty minute wait for food which we were happy with.. The food eventually arrived after 65 minutes. The food was what can only be described as warm. Anaemic chips which looked as though they had been cooked hours before, Limp salad didn't help. One guy behind the bar who was ignorant and ambivalent towards customers waiting to be served whilst he completed paperwork. Give this establishment a wide berth. I speak with some authority on these matters as I have spent over 40 years in the catering industry. We expected more from a Marston Inn. I made an appropriate complaint and received a 20% discount with did little to lessen our disappointment.

Just popped in after a flying lesson in Leven. We had the carvery and priced at £13.75 is nearly double the cost of a Toby carvery so what is the difference?

I have been to this pub many a time as our caravan is just up the road in brandsburton. We are always told by family and friends how nice the food is but every time we have been it's been really poor. Our latest visit was last night. The staff were initially friendly, a little slow with service but it was quite busy as later that evening they had an act on. For starters my husband ordered cheesy nachos and I ordered breaded mushrooms. When they arrived my breaded mushrooms were over done and my husbands nachos weren't what he had expected (he thought the cheese wouls be a sauce like at the cinema!). For our main meal I ordered sausage and mash my husband ordered steak and ale pie and the children off the children menu order chicken nuggets (which my ds always orders!!) and my dd the pizza. We waited about half an hour from starter to main which is fine we never mind waiting. When the food arrived it was well presented my ds ate all his (no surprises!) my sausage and mash was all you would expect from frozen mash and cheap sausage which where a little over cooked but ok and I ate it all. My husband said the pie was nice but was also over cooked slightly I'm pretty sure microwaves are used to warm things up, and his chips where undercooked well still raw actually! My dd said she didn't like the sauce on the pizza I tried it and it was discussing the base of the pizza was grey and undercooked however the sides of the pizza where over cooked and had the microwaved taste about them. By the time we'd caught the waitress' attention to tell them about the pizza and the raw chips everyone had finished so I just asked for the bill and the waitress asked if everything was ok. My husband began to tell her about the pizza and she asked if anyone had told us that the pizza had a cauliflower base and she said it was in quite small writing on the menu. No one had pointed this out to us and my children are 10 and 7 so they read the menu and choose their own meals, when I looked it was there on the menu in very small writing! This explained why it didn't taste very nice but didn't explain why the base wasn't cooked properly. The waitress was very apologetic and said she would take it off the bill which was great we thanked her and went to pay thinking that was the end of the matter, however whilst paying the bill the male manager said to my husband that he'd heard we had a problem with our meal. My husband said yes and the manager said that basically he didn't think that there was anything wrong with our meal and they served good food there and basically we were wrong about the quality of his food! Had a couple of bad experiences here in early 2016. Read reviews since the new management have taken over so in fact have been several times this year. What a transformation! Well cooked food, good service and no long waits between courses. Consistently good which means this is now an establishment we can recommend to friends. Well done! Most recent visit was yesterday for two mixed grills. Super quality meat and a bargain at 2 for 1. My only gripe is that when you have an odd number of diners you feel slightly cheated but I suppose you could always order 4 meals for 3 of you and pig out!!

Fantastic staff fantastic food one of the best steaks I've had lovely atmosphere would highly recommend this establishment for eating out or just a few drinks I'd give them more stars if I could this is our 6 th visit never dissapointed.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon pub was not busy chose table, server took our drink orders and left us to make our food choices. She returned shortly with our drinks and gave us another few minutes to make our decision. Placed food order and the waited approx 35 minutes for meal to arrive. Considering we had ordered steak and sides thought this was quite a wait. We finished our meal and looked at menu for a tasty dessert but unfortunately we could not get the attention of any staff and decided we would leave. Paid bill at bar and were asked if everything was ok advised food was good but service was poor received an apology and left no tip. Would not recommend on this our first visit.

Nicely presented and laid out pub with excellent parking. Good range of Marston's ales. Very friendly and helpful staff. Not "fine dining" but good value pub fayre with excellent choice and no significant wait. Very happy with our lunch.

this pub has a very pleasant feel when you walk in. Theirs plenty of room for those quite corners for you to sit and relax . The food was excellent and the staff friendly. All that you need when going out. What a wonderful evening

Visited today for a Carvery and this was simply the best meal, Amazing food and highly recommended. All of the staff were friendly and excellent hosts. We had a carvery each and a fab dessert which was delicious, we will certainly be visiting again. Excellent value for money too. Thank you.

A lovely pub for a drink or a meal. Staff were very helpful. Waitress service very efficient and helpful. Plenty of car parking even for motor homes. Good deal buy one get another free so better if you are a couple

No soy de quejarme pero la comida la semana pasada debe catalogarse como uno de los peores que he tenido. Por suerte nos aprovechamos de la 2 por 1 que suaviza el golpe porque nunca pagaría por completo lo intentó comer. Pedí el trío de cordero chuletas de 14 libras. 45 La carne era de mala calidad y las verduras era aguado y superficial. Mi mujer pidió la pasta carne cocinada que lento parecía comida para perros y la pasta muy hecha. Mi hija tenía el menú infantil con un lado de palitos de verduras. La clasifica bastones estaban secos y evidentemente ha estado izquierda posiblemente días bastones de zanahoria todavía tenía la izquierda en pieles. En general muy pobre y evitaría. En una nota del miembro del personal que nos era muy bueno y de descuento nuestra comida.

Los Nags Head visita regularmente desde que asumió la nueva gestión.

Visitamos el Head nags con amigos para el almuerzo. El servicio era muy bueno y pedidos para las bebidas y alimentos rápidamente. El interior del restaurante era agradable y espaciosa. . Las bebidas que pedimos fue rápido para llegar y el orden de la comida llegó muy rápidamente después de eso. La calidad de la comida era buena y los platos eran abundantes. En general, un almuerzo muy agradable.

Nags head visitamos el viernes por la noche (30 / 6 / 17) para una visita familiar.

Mi pareja y yo visitamos la cabeza nags y qué el sábado tuvimos una experiencia increíble! El waitering y el personal de la recepción fue muy cortés y muy feliz para asegurarse de que teníamos una velada encantadora.

Mi hijo pedimos pizza Hawaiana de un niño. Cuando salió de la calle 1 sin jamón y piña la camarera era feliz de llevar, cuando salio el 2 tiempo nd ponen o debería decir dumping el jamón y trozos enormes de piña que se puede ver en la foto. No es lo que cabe esperar en un niño. pizza Así que mi hijo de 10 años de enviarlo.

Cuando llegamos el pub estaba lleno, así que no esperes una espera y sí había uno, pero la comida era adorable que valió la pena la espera! Todas las comidas eran los implementos y las ofertas que tienen en son geniales!

Viernes 16 Junio - Gran familia visita a LECONFIELD de Devon. He comido en el restaurante antes de que pensaba reserva una mesa para 14 personas en un ambiente que había utilizado antes sería bienvenida a todos ellos, con buena comida, buen servicio, en un entorno relajante.

Fuimos para cenar con mi marido, mi hija y mi nieta. A mi hija le pedimos bistec de tamaño mediano a raro cuando llegó fue realmente difícil, cuando le preguntamos si estaba bien, ella dijo que era difícil, al punto en que la camarera (creo que era la señora tierra) comenzó a cortar en su plato en frente de ella como si ella estaba mintiendo! Luego dijo que puede ser el corte y pedí a mi hija si ella quería una sustitución o something​ diferentes. Ella escogió otra comida. Desde ese momento en que fueron ignoradas desierto aunque hubiéramos ordenados y mi nieta tenía un postre incluido en su comida. Tuvimos que pedir esto como una comida para llevar, ya que esperó tanto. . . . . Volveríamos? . . . . . No hay una experiencia decepcionante ya no recomendaría

We went to this restaurant today with friends who are lucky enough to live nearby, a beautiful summers day we enjoyed sitting out in the gardens before going inside for a meal, the staff were very polite, respectful and efficient with all our orders and drinks.

Good food very good atmosphere very very good prices my wife had the rib eye it was amazing cooked to perfection I had the ultimate cheese burger and o yes it was ultimate indeed amazing and the best bit was all menu 2for 1 Evan the specials on the board

Popped in one Wednesday tea time, it was a curry night, it was 2 curries ,& 2pints for £12 ,wasn't expecting much but when it came it was very good, well worth going for, will definitely be going back ,had a dessert very nice staff nice and friendly .

Visitamos con mi anciana madre para un dos por una cena. No ocupado. Pescado y patatas fritas estaba por debajo de la media. No hay mucho pescado en el pescado. Varios huesos y no de pescado blanco. La cadera era difícil. Patatas fritas y guisantes muy bueno. Guiness era precioso! Comimos aquí varias veces y siempre ha sido excelente pero no esta noche. Camarera preguntó al final de la comida si la comida estaba bien, pero ella parecía perdido y no tomó ninguna acción cuando dije que era pescado (a la izquierda en la placa) no era en absoluto agradable. Hombre del bar podría sonreír un poco. Bar señoras muy plleasent y acogedor.

Ha sido hoy con mi familia y aunque estaba muy lleno, nos dieron una comida rápidamente. Todos optamos por un asador y era preciosa, las porciones son generosas y dejar sensación de lleno y satisfecho. Creo que era el propietario, que estaba detrás de la barra, y era muy acogedor. Toda la experiencia fue mejor de lo que esperaba y sin duda volveremos en el futuro.

Es mucho tiempo desde la última vez que visitó la cabeza Nags como última cuantas veces fuimos hace un par de años que no estábamos muy contentos con la comida o el sitio en general. Así, a nuestro regreso de Beverley una almuerzo en la semana recientemente decidimos probarlo de nuevo, y tengo que decir que nos quedamos muy gratamente sorprendidos. Todo el lugar ha sido muy bien restaurado y parecía muy limpio y ordenado y el personal era muy simpático y amable, la comida era buena también, así como el servicio. Sin duda volveré.

Reservamos una mesa para comida de cumpleaños durante la estancia en un lodge en brandesburton. Bebidas y comida y llegamos rápidamente, pedimos la comida estaba caliente, bien presentada y muy sabroso. This used to be one of my regular places to Eat until Phil the manager left and it went downhill, having heard that it had changed management again and that it was better also add on the carver we decided to give it another go.Sunday lunch for the family we selected the carvery option, served in a cramped area at the rear of the pub with not a great choice of veg which was either luke warm or overcooked,the gravy pot was empty,and took a while to be refilled,the food overall was tasteless.we paid the bill and made our observations known but no recompense was offered,possibly one of the worst carveries I have had.Will not be rushing back which is a shame as we pass that way often.This was at lunch time Sunday 1.30pm when it should have been on top form.

Yo estaba muy decepcionado de la mala calidad de la comida para los niños. Pedimos salchichas, patatas fritas y guisantes para nuestro hijo de dos años pero la salchicha era incomible. Al cortar lo guay que vaya a un gran trozo de cartílago. No apetecible! Irónicamente, no salchichas y puré de patatas en el menú adulto y usar salchichas de alta calidad. Hacer que los niños no merecen la misma calidad?

Habiendo pasado este pub muchas veces, decidí probarlo y quedé muy satisfecho no El servicio era muy bueno y la comida era adorable (suficiente y bien preparada). Fue una excelente relación calidad-precio ya que es de 2 por 1, no me puedo quejar del lugar y sin duda volveremos.

Stopped off for a quick lunch today. Picked two specials which quickly arrived. Small issue with one of them which was quickly rectified. Would highly recommend the new management. They have worked wonders!!

Fuimos en camino a casa de 5 horas de viaje, así que realmente hambre, pagamos extra para una mayor carvary, Turquía era bueno, sin embargo la mayoría de mi carne no es comestible, como ácidos grasos, para ser justos, mi marido no disfrute de los suyos. El pequeño Yorkshire donde los congelados y sólo nos dieron una con nuestros grandes comidas, el relleno era sólo las migajas. No había salsa de arándano o salsa de menta a la izquierda. Además, la comida era en el mejor de sólo un poco caliente.

Nos detuvimos en el Nags Head el domingo 4 de diciembre por el dos por uno. . Buena relación calidad-precio excepcional. Una cálida bienvenida como siempre por el nuevo director Chris. Un magnífico pub agradable. después de malas experiencias en el pasado. A debe para cualquiera que quiera una buena comida saludable en todo el mundo un precio asequible. Por favor, apoye este pub. Had a some great food today gammon & Stake chips onion rings and some trimmings very impressive food was very quick and hot will definitely be going again

Después de varias malas experiencias con la gestión anterior, que, como muchos otros dejó de ir e incluso una reforma no iba a tentar a llamarme. Sin embargo, oír muchas cosas buenas con la nueva gestión mi amigo y yo decidimos probar de nuevo. Nos quedamos agradablemente sorprendidos. El personal era cálido y acogedor, y nos daba más tiempo para estudiar el menú ya que no podíamos hacer nuestras mentes de la prolongada elección. Hay una buena selección en sidra sin alcohol, que siempre es agradable de ver. Mi amigo optaron por un bistec y ensalada de gambas raras. Estaba perfectamente preparado para ella (aunque creo que un buen vet podría haber revivido). Yo opté por un sobresaliente y mostaza tarta/pollo, que era delicioso, aunque sospecho que había sido recalentadas en el microondas habiendo sido caseras originalmente. No hay espacio para los budines, pero no sentimos apresurados o descuidado y volveremos. Buen trabajo, buen menú, personal cálido y acogedor, buena comida y variedad de bebidas y un nivel apropiado de servicio. bien hecho.

Esta fue nuestra segunda visita al asador y no me decepcionó. Gran plato de todo, 3 tipos de carne, verduras y un montón de budín de Yorkshire. El personal era amable y servicial. Habiendo comido aquí muchas veces en el pasado y rara vez estar impresionados. Esta noche fue un auténtico lujo. Carnes cocinadas a la perfección y una generosa porción. La comida era fresca y caliente! Perfecto. Mi carne estaba cocinada medio raro y no grasa, exactamente como yo hubiera esperado. La nueva gestión realmente aumentado el juego aquí en Nags Head. Sobre la hora, la última directora era una pesadilla. Volveremos.

Después de haber visitado la cabeza antes y ha sido nags muy decepcionado con la comida y el personal me resistí a probarlo de nuevo! ! ! ! Pero mi sobrina dijo que era mucho mejor, así que nos arriesgamos a la hora del almuerzo hoy, la bienvenida que nos dieron era precioso, tanto que pedimos el filete y fue perfecto, teníamos a mi sobrina hijo pequeño con nosotros y él era bien entretenido! Fue agradable ver las cosas han cambiado, quedamos muy satisfechos y volveremos! !

Ohhhhh qué diferencia. Qué gire. La última vez que fuimos estaba sucio el personal interesado, pero la comida no comestible ahora! ! ! Tan diferente al entrar alegre saludo. Un personal atento y amable con una sonrisa. El carvery absolutamente deliciosa y caliente nada demasiado bien hecho. Nags Head está de vuelta! !

Having read some of the past reviews I was a bit sceptical but was pleasantly surprised, the first impression looking at the Specials board it looked a bit pricey however when its pointed out that everything (except starters and puddings) are 2 for 1 then its great value and genuinely good food, the service was very friendly and the surroundings very smart and comfortable, I understand the present owners have only recently took over so it would appear they have made some big changes.

Estamos parando en el camping cerca de este pub, así que pensamos que le daría una oportunidad. Me alegro tanto de haberlo hecho. Una de las mejores comidas de bar que he tenido en mucho tiempo. El personal es muy agradable y rápido, así que aclaro mesa no se sentaban mirando los platos vacíos mucho tiempo. No puedo esperar a probar el asado de mañana.

Solíamos ir al restaurante cabeza nags bastante frecuentemente, pero noté que el nivel de atención y servicio fue disminuyendo, (un camarero vino a la mesa y en vez de ir en torno a la mesa para servir a mi esposa me entregó la placa y dijo aquí que más mate pase), no es lo que esperaba!

La comida es estupenda, como siempre, pero, desafortunadamente, el servicio de mesa el último par de visitas a finales de septiembre, principios de octubre 2016 ha sido pésimo.

We have been regulars at this pub for many years and all good, but after a change in management things went rapidly downhill. But I am glad to say with the new management of Chris and Karen there has been a vast improvement in such a short time. The staff are friendly and cheerful, the service excellent, meals are served quickly and hot, with good size portions. The Carvery is delicious, large Yorkshire pudding with plenty of meat of your choice and a good selection of vegetables. An amazing turnaround! We will be back very soon.

My parents decided to have their Diamond Wedding celebration with family and friends at The Nags Head and I have to say that I cannot fault a thing! Chris and Karen were so fantastic throughout the whole day. Nothing was too much trouble - they really care for their customers. The Carvery was very good with a varied choice of meats and vegetables. Great choice of sweets, all well presented. Service was spot on. Many thanks to all the staff for helping us create some great memories.

Tonight we returned to Nags head after a bad experience last time but the changes are amazing !! Chris and his new staff have totally changed the place. Fabulous service and amazing food.

Went with my son and Grand Daughter for a meal, heard good reports so checked it out.

On visiting The Nags Head at Routh we were really surprised to see Under New Management sign ..Having had bad experiences with the same pub over past years we decided to give it a try ...and so glad we did ...what a transformation...The new managers Chris and Karen Hunt made us so welcome and the food was the best we've ever had in there ....A nice clean place , friendly staff always there to help . And food fantastic ...This is certainly worth a visit now ....Highly Recomendable ...and certainly out Port of Call ...Give it a try you won't be disappointed ..promise ...

Llamado para el almuerzo ya que hemos hecho antes, pub estaba más lleno que la última vez. Chris, el nuevo propietario era muy amable y acogedor, nuestra orden fue tomada rápidamente y la maravillosa comida llegaron poco después, bien presentado, buenas porciones y comidas, todo cocinado a nuestra satisfacción por lo tanto platos aclaro! El barman, que trajo la comida era amable y atento a nuestras necesidades, comprobar si todo estaba bien. La oferta dos por uno en relación calidad-precio es muy buena y había una gran variedad de diferentes especiales. En general, una buena experiencia que se repetía de nuevo pronto.

We called at The Nags Head on our way to Hornsea on Friday September 22nd for a pub meal ..it was excellent and Under New Management Chris and Karen Hunt ...After severel bad experiences in the past ..the Food and atmoshere here now is superb ..Well worth a visit 10/10 for the meal we had ..look forward to many more .....

Esta fue nuestra segunda visita en 10 días. Nuestro grupo de cuatro estaban encantados con nuestras opciones altamente de las ofertas especiales y con comprar uno conseguir el más barato gratis, es un verdadero bagain!. La junta especial es un cambio bienvenido de la habitual menú de pub. Asador Sábado y domingo.

Excellent food and service, food arrived quickly and piping hot. Lots of choice at a very good price, although 2 for 1 so odd numbers would be expensive

Visitamos hoy Apprehensively después de un par de malas experiencias anteriores.

La impresión general es que la cabeza de Nags ha mejorado mucho desde la última visita (no muy bien) hace un año! Visitamos sábado en alrededor de 5 y estaba bastante tranquilo. Nos dirigimos al bar para pedir (como supuse que pedimos en el bar), pero el personal dijo que tome el orden en la mesa. Un hombre amable y agradable y venía directamente sobre las bebidas y pedir tomó la comida que consistía en dos 20 oz parrillas mixtas de niños y un pollo que prepararte tus propios envoltura tortilla comida. Tomó alrededor de cinco minutos de bebidas para llegar. La comida llegó después de un razonable 15 minutos. Filetes estaban cocinadas como solicitada en las parrillas mixtas y la carne parecía nunca acabar como compuesto de carne, cerdo, cordero, sobresaliente y salchichas servido con patatas fritas, aros de cebolla, tomate a la parrilla y guisantes. Mixed Grill costaba £17.45 pero son '2 por 1', así que vale la pena. La comida de mi hija era buena y ella disfrutamos haciendo la envuelve. La pechuga de pollo estaba caliente y fresco, tenía cuatro poco gofres y queso con un poco de ensalada. He dado 4 estrellas, aunque la comida era de buena calidad, nos sentamos con nuestros platos vacíos para unos 20 minutos antes de que el nuevo propietario los vi y les aclaro a sí mismo - no es un gran problema, pero nos estaban esperando para pedido de postre para nuestra hija! El postre era una 'crisis choco para una y llegamos en buen momento, pero le faltaban los malvaviscos mini detalladas en el menú. Nos dijeron que el dueño cuando pagamos y prometió nuestra hija una porción doble la próxima vez que le espera a él!!!

He usado el Nags Head numerosas veces, ya que es local a mí.. Por desgracia ha tenido informes negativos debido a los cambios de gestión recientemente y la escasez de personal. Las quejas pueden ser otros justifica desde clientes que busquen un reembolso. También veo no hay necesidad de insultar al personal, por ejemplo, personalmente los comentarios de Harry Potter.

We visited this establishment with 2 of our friends.After sitting down a waitress asked us what we wanted to drink.We said we would go and get our own from the bar but she insisted on getting them.So we gave her our order.As our Partners are disabled we went to get their meals first from the carvery..On going back for ours we found their was a queue of 9 people in front of us.With hindsight we should have told the lad behind the counter what we wanted before we took our husbands meals over.We waited over 1/2 hour to get served!!! The lad behind the counter was trying to serve,carve,refill dishes and get plates etc.I said to him that he needed help.Apparently someone had not turned in.On getting back to our table our husbands had finished their meal and there were no drinks on the table..We asked the waitress where they were.After a further 1/4 hour a tray of drinks appeared.It was not our order.My friend asked to speak to the manager.It turned out that the manager was the only bar staff there.He didn't look like he knew what he was doing.He wasn't apologetic at all and said that staff hadn't turned in and basically that was the way it was.I am sorry but his staff shortages are his problem not mine.

Como no viven demasiado lejos de la cabeza de Nags, hemos frecuentado un número de veces a lo largo de los años y nunca ha sido muy impresionado.

Last visit was about 3 years ago

Llamamos hoy para el asador. La primera cosa que nos envolvió estaban todas las mesas sucias. Encontramos un sábado y lo elemental y esperamos por el servicio. Finalmente nos fuimos al bar donde me dijeron que estaban cortos de personal. Mi marido y yo tuvimos el asador y todo lo que puedo decir es que fue asqueroso calientan el patatoes sabían como habían sido recalentados varias veces. Intentamos comer algunos, pero honestamente, rendimos. Cuando el camarero vino a nosotros y nos preguntó si la comida estaba bien fue informado de lo que pensamos. Él no tomar acción inmediata por la factura, pero cojan no disculpa a. No volveremos.

We came in 6 of us on one to seat us we found a table and got a round of drinks the waiter came over and and said 45min wait we ordered and waited one hour or more the food was over cooked two orders and one under cook send it back we got 20%of and paid what they ask and will not be going back in wouldn't eat there for free sorry this places need a small menu's and a to and get a cook not a uni.students.on minimum wage.!!!!!.

Completamente impactado y consternado al han parado en lo que era aparentemente un pub rural pintoresco. Se anuncia un "dos por uno" ofrecen comida y ofrece el mismo para sus asados.

Mum fancied going out for tea on Thursday night after waiting 2 hours to be served the food came over cooked and burnt

Decidimos entrar por un poco de comida en una tranquila tarde de martes. Entrar, encontramos un montón de espacio (como se esperaba) y encontramos una mesa junto a la ventana. Inmediatamente, me hubiera gustado que habíamos sentado en otro lugar ya que la mesa estaba repleta de migas y estaba pegajosa de la cena del día anterior. Sin embargo, tener un miembro anciano de la familia con nosotros y no quieren obligarlos a mover de nuevo, y me limpio y cepillado comenzaron a mirar a través de los menús.

Sunday evening 7th August went in at quarter to six by 6 after trying to get attention to order drinks staff just walking by you completely ignoring you I got up & found someone to order drinks with & food as we had time to look through menu while waiting for service , I had the carvery no problem there my husband ordered pie & chips & grandson a burger, I sat for ten mins before getting my meal then I wouldn't be eating on my own they had no Yorkshire puddings ready he said I'll send one over when I get them guess what I had to go & get it myself! 20past six I asked were the meals were no joy by 20 to 7 I had long since finished my meal, we got up to walk out as I was at the bar waiting to pay for mine I was told the meals were on the table! Noting that other people had come in after us & got there meals you could say we were fuming the chips were cold the pie rock hard & the gravy was like luke warm dish water. It will be a cold day in hell before we set foot in there again, the tall thin bloke ignored me completely twice when I tried to get his attention , I asked to speak to the manager but told he was not available , I have worked in these establishments all my life I this sort of service would NOT be tolerated anywhere I have worked !! We could have gone to Weatherspoons in Beverley & got served quicker than this. Your staff are terrible trained & the elusive manager needs sacking to run a place to these standards. We have been coming here for years when there was a proper manager & waiting staff .The only decent staff here was Ryan who did try his best but without team work I'm afraid he's fighting a loosing battle. I'm not leaving it here I will be getting on to the owners of this embarrassment of a restaurant !!!!! Lost another regular customer

Staff extremely obliging, food good though ran out of BURGERS! Thursday tea time!! Ryan good fun and helpful.

Nos dijeron que habría una espera de 45 minutos! Eso está bien 10 minutos más tarde una orden lateral de patatas fritas llegado! Nada más por 1 hora? Yorkshire pudding gigante era carne 2 pequeños flanes era simplemente grasa! No seguimos esperando! patatas Uso Salsa de mi esposa sabía a queso! No salsa de barbacoa siempre! No volveremos después de ser un habitual de muchos años! Evitar a toda costa!

Absolutely diabolical. I could write more how bad it was but not enough room. Was meant to be a family celebration. Wont be going again.

Uso de ir una vez al mes, he estado allí dos veces en unos meses y el servicio de alta velocidad ha bajado, la señora pobre corriendo haciendo todo su propia. No fue abastecido hasta asados, así que algunos de nuestro grupo se fue sin verduras y pudines yorkshire (no ofrecer ellos cuando estaban cocinados). Llegamos a mitad de la bebidas comida. En general decepcionado y estaban demasiado ocupados para darnos cuenta.

Rubbish! Waited forever for our food. Food was cold and tasted bland. Wont be back - so many better places to go. Staff were really slow and uninterested.

Dos por Uno en los platos principales, pero sólo la mitad del número de personal de servicio para que la parte delantera de la casa es horrible!
