Lovely location and village. Really nice Sunday lunch. Will definitely go back soon. Shame the beer garden isn't dog friendly.

We needed a great pub to go and have some lovely food, and this pub did not disappoint. From the minute we entered with the friendly warm welcome to the delicious food this pub has it all. Can’t wait to return.

We are visiting family in the area and went for a Sunday lunch . The menu sounded lovely but unfortunately the food wasn’t as nice . The Yorkshire puddings were overcooked , borderline burned . The mushroom Stroganoff - the onions still had the peel on and mushroom were quite crunchy. The roast chicken was dry and tough, but most disappointing bit was the schnitzel- very tiny with very dry and gritty coating . We will be happy to come for a drink but wouldn’t bother having food again .

Firstly the positives - mum is gluten free and really enjoyed her meal. She had lamb which she said was delicious. Unfortunately, my sister and I opted for the roast beef which was tough so much so that I couldn’t eat it.our food was luke warn and the Yorkshire puddings burnt. Really disappointed

A brilliant meal in a friendly pub great beer had there special ox cheek toad in the hole gorgeous good to try new things worth a visit.

Visited Nancy Inn , looked at the reviews and thought we would give it a go , I had fish and chips , others had burger and chicken parmo.. I found the triple cooked chips , not crispy , my mushy peas where cold and the batter too thick on my fish ( fish was very wet in side ) and onion rings . I am glad we tried it but will not be going back ( very disappointing)

This pub has clearly invested a lot in its outdoor areas and looks great.Food is very nice, as is the service, we were sat in a small shed which was fitted with a heater. Service was attentive, the staff all working hard. COVID precautions very good. Well worth a drive out for a nice meal. Thank you all.

Went to the Nancy last night, group of 4 of us and had meal and drinks in one of the sheds. Lovely night had by all, very well thought out outdoor plan. The sheds were nice and cosy with a heater and well decorated. Food was outstanding! Big tasty portions, I had the southern fried chicken burger and a brownie, could not fault any part of it! Very reasonably priced food and drinks, all of the staff members were polite and attentive, nothing was a problem for them. Will definitely be returning, and would advise anyone to give them a try. Thank you very much to everyone at the Nancy!

We booked a shed for a long awaited catch up post covid! What a lovely evening we had! The staff were very attentive even though it was very busy. The food was delicious and didn't take long to arrive. I had the steak and it was cooked med rare just as I asked and Omg the brownie for desert was to die for but couldn't finish it because we was full from the main. Drinks were really reasonably priced too! We will definitely be back, such a lovely vibe to the place and all of the staff were polite and helpful.

Another lovely meal at the Nancy. Although it was cold and drizzly we sat on the terrace which is covered and heated, but we where also provided with lovely fleece blankets for extra warmth. The chef was very accommodating in my meal request on a very busy night, which was delicious. The staff where friendly and pleasant as always and clearly work extremely hard to make sure everyone is comfortable and enjoy their evening.

Disappointing portion sizes and it tasted even worse. Overcooked meat and under cooked veg. However this wasn’t the worse part, awful customer service skills and clearly poor leadership and management who are quite frankly rude. Such a lovely area but this was a disappointment

I'm personally not one to complain after working in the hospitality industry for many years. However, today after being very disappointed with the meals we received (hard vegetables, well done/fatty beef when it was stated as rare, tiny portions) and to top it off, two people in the group received half a Yorkshire pudding on a small adults portion (really!?) I made the server aware that we were disappointed with the food. The manager came out and I advised her of the above, the only response we were given was a sarcastic 'marvellous' and then walked away. On returning to the table we discussed our dissatisfaction with the response to our concerns at which point the owner got heated asking my friend 'if she wanted to have a go'. I'm absolutely baffled and shocked as I have never received service like this in my life.

Had a lovely family meal mums 81st birthday, slight issue with my meal, i honestly have to say it was handled exceptionally professionally, complimentary bottle of wine too, Thank you so very much we will definitely be back

After reading the reviews of pubs in the local area on a recent weekend away we picked the Nancy inn for Sunday lunch and drinks.I know al dente vegetables is the current trend but the vegetables were so hard they were in edible, which was handy as there was only one small bowl of it between the four of us!The meat wasn’t rare as stated but tough & fatty.We voiced our concerns to the manager who was very dismissive and frankly rude.I find it bizarre that someone with so little people skills is the face of any hospitality as the customer service in McDonald’s is better! Initially I was writing this review to provide feedback on the food but actually I feel the pub can be improved by the manager taking anger management, conflict resolution or customer service course!Or alternatively a new front of house as this will probably be a better option.

It’s not often we’d go out for Sunday lunch (when we’re allowed!) as we do a mean home cooked roast, but we were away for the Bank Holiday weekend and why not enjoy someone else’s?! I am so pleased we chose to take our friends recommendation and try The Nancy! We booked on the Friday and luckily managed to get a picnic table for the Sunday. Would we have preferred to be in one of the huts or the ‘conservatory’ looking structure, yes, but the warm welcome sure made up for the cooler temperature (we were even offered a blanket, which was a lovely touch)You have to wait to be seated, once you’ve donned your mask, sanitised your hands and checked in using the NHS app…standard practise now right?! Shame not all the customers we saw did as they asked! The team dealt with this well and who doesn’t want to feel safe when they’re out at the moment?! Seated and drinks order taken the hardest part was to choose what to eat! The menu was extensive considering the circumstances and the food that passed us going to other tables looked amazing! We opted for the beef ribs croquettes, prawn cocktail, a lamb and a pork Sunday roast, then an apple crumble and sticky toffee pudding. Oh my goodness it was just beautiful! Everything was really well cooked, flavoursome, piping hot and sooooo tasty! The team were attentive but not over bearing, they were knowledgable and really did a great job. It’s been such a tough year for all concerned in the hospitality industry but the team at The Nancy have got everything spot on! Both my partner and I said it was the best meal we’ve had out in a long time (even before COVID!) and we would drive the 2 hours from home to go back (hopefully sit inside maybe next time!) Well done guys! Fantastic job all round!!!

Absolutely delicious food and the outside area is lovely. We were in a little shed with a heater in it was lovey. My only moan would be that they had a fire pit outside and I don’t like them because now my hair stinks but that’s personal preference and certainly won’t stop be going back for more delicious looking things off the menu.

One of my top places to eat and drink. Exceptional food at a reasonable price. Alway a lovely friendly atmosphere where you feel welcome and the government guidelines are followed perfectly. Hats off to all the staff 👏👏👏

Very tasty meal, slightly more expensive than others in the area but you get what you pay for. At least the barmaid is very pleasant.

Great service, clearly marked out areas and hand gel set out. The chef was so helpful offering options for vegans and vegetarians. Food was delicious. Deserts were delicious. So happy for their kindness.

My brother suggested visiting as he had heard good things. Absolutely beautiful food and staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovely clean restaurant, great food and good portions. Will definitely revisit.

Been for a meal tonight with my daughter, booked a table for 6pm, arrived on time and were seated promptly. We were offered drinks straight away. I chose a rose spritzer and it was perfectly chilled and very drinkable. We both chose scampi as our mains which were plentiful and were accompanied by twice cooked chips, peas, salad and tarts sauce. It was delicious and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. For desert I had the cheesecake which had strawberries and chocolate sauce and my daughter chose chocolate brownie. Very good sized portions, social distancing in place and very good hygiene procedures. The staff were also very polite and helpful. This was my first visit to The Nancy but it definitely won’t be my last, thank you for a lovely meal.

went for a girlie meet up late August. Escorted to our "potting Shed" all safety advice was well explained well. Food ordered and delivered promptly and well presented and tasty too.

We went for a dinner and we informed the lady serving us that one of us had an allergy to cows dairy however she didn’t seem convinced that the scotch egg starter and scampi for main was ok to have. Again we mentioned only allergies are the cows dairy for the scotch egg starter and the scampi main, before she took the order as she forgot what we wanted and had to come back. On the receipt it stated ‘no allergies’ when we paid the bill and later that evening I was very unwell. Lovely service and food however just disappointed as if this was a severe but allergy she maybe would have taken the allergy more seriously? Probably won’t go back again as the menu doesn’t have much choice for someone with allergies and wouldn’t want to risk the same thing happening.

We made a last minute booking Bank Holiday Monday. We sat inside but the outdoor space really looked lovely too. The food is good and the service is too. It is really spotlessly clean and the staff really take care with their social distancing etc, it's the first time we have encountered this as some places are ever so blasé. We will be back soon.

We ate here for our wedding anniversary a couple of weeks ago and had a perfect night.I’d booked over the phone a few weeks before as we were due to visit the area for a weekend break and the Nancy was recommended by the owner of the lodges we were staying in. When we arrived our shed wasn’t quite ready due to the previous diners arriving late, but we weren’t in a rush and sat in the beer garden for a drink which was very pleasant. The landlady was very apologetic even though it wasn’t her fault.Our little shed was lovely, really cosy and just the perfect setting for a meal for 2. All the food was top notch, and the service was excellent. We had breaded mushrooms, scotch egg, burger and scampi, then managed to squeeze in cheesecake and apple crumble.The icing on the cake was that the landlady sent us some free drinks to celebrate our anniversary which was a lovely touch.Can’t recommend highly enough, they’ve gone the extra mile with additional, covered, socially distanced spaces outside and we couldn’t have chosen anywhere better for a lovely evening. Thank you!

Booked through facebook as advised on the website (wed), however 2 days later i had still not had confirmation of the booking, so phoned them up (fri) to be told on the phone to message on facebook. I explained that i had been waiting 2 days for a response, can they not just confirm over the phone and was told no, i need to message on facebook??? Sent another message on facebook on the Friday afternoon and didn't get a response to confirm the booking till Saturday afternoon. We still decided to go ahead with the booking despite this service and on turning up, they couldn't find the booking, but it was quiet to they were able to seat up. My partner had the burger which was excellent and i had the steak which was pretty average for a steak - maybe i was just jealous i didn't go for the burger. The service during the meal was good. I would return and eat here again, but they need to be more responsive on the bookings, i wonder if the reason they were quite is because others aren't so patient and booked elsewhere?

Visited early on Saturday evening with our two young children. We were taken through the garden to our table in a little potting shed-don’t be fooled, the terrace area and sheds are beautiful! Fantastic idea, quirky, well done and well thought out. Perfect for social distancing.The food and service were excellent. Thank you all for a great evening!

Whilst visiting the area we had Sunday dinner at the Nancy. Their planning to deal with Covid is excellent it felt safe whilst still warm and friendly. The food was excellent, the lamb especially . The staff were all friendly and able to advise on the menu. A lovely 3 course meal and excellent value.

First local meal out since lockdown. Well done to Dee and team! Lovely food, service and happy environment. The new potting sheds and partitions in The Terrace are fab. It was obvious how much hard work and commitment had been dedicated, to create a safe environment and to ensure new guidelines are adhered to for customers at this time.

We had a lovely meal here in a very nice beer garden. They were well set up for the current covid-19 situation and this didn't detract from dining.The food was a traditional pub menu and everyone had a great meal - special shout out to the burger (several different toppings) as that was especially enjoyable. Nice staff and decent service, would recommend for an easy meal

Love the take out options in this time of crisis. Our food was ready on time and as good as dining in. Well done team for putting this together when people need something nice to take our minds off the selfish shoppers out there.

We revisited the Nancy recently after a fabulous first visit a few years ago . Unfortunately it wasn’t quite as good as the first visit. We both ordered steak, one medium rare and one medium well .. The food was of an excellent quality but unfortunately the chef produced both meals Rare ..

Never had a bad meal here. Staff are always helpful and very pleasant. Menu always has something to tempt us both. This was a quieter night than usual, but to be expected after the Christmas and New Year period.

This is a copy of email I have sent to the public house but yet to have a full response -Dear Sir/MadamI came with my family for a xmas meal on Christmas Eve. First of all I would say that I have been to your pub with friends for afternoon tea and it was most enjoyable, my friends have been for meals which again they recommend.On this basis I trusted that our Xmas meal would be enjoyable, but, unfortunately this was not the case.The meal was not in the slightest enjoyable, the Yorkshire puddings were burnt, the roast potatoes were hard and burnt, the vegetables were certainly not freshly cooked. I did inform one of the waitresses when she asked if everything was ok with the meal, I said no it was burnt - no apologies of anything was forthcoming. I did not take too much of an issue with it at the time, as I am going through chemotherapy at the moment and I was extremely tired and I just wanted to get home.The Xmas pudding was extremely unappetising, the presentation was not appealing. There was a problem with my daughter’s sweet, inasmuch as it was left in the oven and forgotten about until I made enquiries. When it arrived it was meant to be a Winter Fruit Crumble, but it was mostly fruit with a very sparse amount of crumble! Our whole experience was very disappointing when it was supposed to be a lovely family meal, as due to my current situation I did not feel well enough to cook our own Christmas lunch. I am sorry that I have had cause to complain but I do feel strongly about this as I felt our evening had been ruined and the meal a wash out.I do hope you take my comments onboard, I paid over £111 on the night but the meal was certainly not worth that.I will not be visiting your premises again.RegardsMrs PSent from my iPad

The food and service were very good, not many people there and the place was a bit cold but once staff informed they did sort it and became comfortable

I stopped for lunch at the Nancy Inn last week while visiting the East Riding of Yorkshire. It was so good I went back the next day.They either have a superb chef, or they believe in serving up excellent and extremely good value, food. Or both.The burger was one of the best I have ever tasted and the pie the next day with wild mushrooms even better.I took a homemade scotch egg home with me. That was the best scotch egg I have ever tasted as well.The Nancy Inn is a proper village pub/restaurant. Good cask ale (Black Sheep while I was there.If you are in the area, treat yourself.I wish it was my local.

Went for Sunday dinner, lovely little pub and decorated lovely. The dinner was excellent. The only let down was the service, our waitress seemed to want to just chat the bar, we had to ask to order the food, had to ask for further drinks and then even had to ask for the desserts menu. The service just let the chef/kitchen down. Otherwise I would have marked it a five. The other thing to point out is that we were one of only four tables she was serving.

On arriving it Was difficult to tell if it was open as the door was half closed so ordinarily we would have just driven past assuming it was shut, first impressions very well presented nicely decorated, please my for relaxing and eating as they have bucked the trend and ignored the Gordy decor a lot of pubs have gone to so that was nice.Staff very quite very pleasant but not much in the way of conversationSeats were comfortable, but not a lot of room between tables made several excuse mes and apologies just going to the bar.As for the food Based on the burger I had it was not as good as the description, the burger itself was homemade but rediculously dry the relish was to hot which had to be scrapped off which made a mess of the meal, the chips were fantastic really well cooked but not many of them, for the quality which in fairness was no different to many places it was overpriced not by a lot but still not worth what they are asking. That being said the food that was being brought out if the kitchen to other tables did look very good.

My wife and I heard about The Nancy some time ago and for months, have intended to visit, so we finally made it!Upon arrival, we asked if they were still serving food and if a table was available and we were greeted by a blank look at first, however another lady arrived on the scene and was very helpful, showing us to a table. The decor, although slightly tired was very comfortable and very soon had us feeling at home. (In hindsight, I suspect the young woman we initially asked was perhaps new staff and was a little taken aback - but further service proved from her was faultless.)The place was busy, but the service was very good - fast and efficient as well as polite and friendly.As we'd visited on a Sunday, late afternoon, there was basically a choice of roasts although a specials board was also available. I opted for roast beef while my wife had lamb.This seemed to be when things were kicked up a notch - the food was excellent, the meats were cooked perfectly and the vegetables were spot-on! (Personally I like my veg very crunchy and these fit the bill perfectly.)It's not often we have a pudding after a main course (and certainly the quantity of food served for the main course was more than sufficient), but as we were so comfortable, we decided to have dessert too.I had a sponge and custard which was very nice and not too sweet, while my wife had the salted caramel cheesecake - and very nice too.In summary we were very pleasantly surprised by all aspects of The Nancy, service, decor, food - all were excellent and we'll certainly be visiting again. Its well worth going out of your way to visit.

What a lovely pub , really well set out and immaculately clean, fantastic service, and amazing food. We had a great Sunday lunch and will definitely return and try the rest of the menu !

Amazing food - the pork and mash main and the brownie and honeycomb dessert were amazing. Couldn’t have asked for better service. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for decent food in a nice environment. We had two small children with us on a Saturday evening and didn’t feel unwelcome. The cocktails are fantastic too!

Visited for the first time last week whilst away for the weekend in nearby Withernsea, found the place on trip advisor. We received a friendly warm welcome, the location is beautiful and the Inn is immaculate and very cosy. Service was first class and the food very good. Lots of attention to detail here and we would highly recommend. Just one point to note, someone in the kitchen is a bit heavy handed with the salt (steak pie in particular) and I like lots of seasoning!! Thank you for a nice evening.

We found this place by chance. We have had a number of meals here, usually Saturday afternoon/evening or Sunday lunch. The quality I have to say is very good. Much better than the Stag at Lelley where we used to visit most weekends. Everything is beautifully presented, the portion size is really good. The girls are all very friendly, polite and are always smiling. Love the place ... Can you bring back the East coast IPA please

Just had a delightful family meal at the Nancy. The food was outstanding & exceptionally priced considering the quality. The pork chop with mash was an absolute treat (what I had) the burger my dad had was enormous & delicious. The stroganof was beautiful (wifes) & the sea food linguine was amazing according to my mother.

The food was incredible!! Out of this world and amazing value for money at £16 for THREE courses.

Came here for a meal with my mum on a Saturday lunch time. The decor of this place is fabulous, old mixed well with new. We were seated by a friendly and polite member of staff and given menus. We were also shown the specials board. After much deliberation (as all the food sounded lovely) we chose a Nancy burger and the from the specials board the ribeye steak. The steak was beautifully cooked and tasted as good as it looked. The burger was lovely and juicy and packed full of flavour. We were made to feel welcome and all the staff were lovely. Will definitely eat here again.

This place is a warm friendly hidden gem, the staff are lovely and the food is what I call posh Nosh!

we went as a family the food was so salty i couldn t eat it the yorkshire puddings were burnt they offered me another meal but it was too late i wouldn t go back again

We enjoyed a lovely 3 course Valentines Day menu, we both enjoyed scallops for starters, I had herby crusted cod for main which was beautifully cooked and my partner had ribeye steak which he said melted in his mouth and we both had cheesecake and ice cream for dessert which was amazingly good. We also had a complimentary glass of prosecco each which was a nice touch and went down well. Great service and great value and will hopefully return soon. Highly recommended

Very poor customer service. Waited twenty five minutes for meal to arrive. One meal missed off the order, no apology. When it eventually arrived, other friends had almost eaten their meal. I complained, and said I expected a discount. When friend went to pay, the manager said she would have given us a complimentary glass of wine, but for my 'attitude.' So my friends were penalised because I complained about bad service! One friend had beef which was tough, but didn't want to make a fuss. On way out I said to the manager, that they might want to review their customer service training. She said that I, a first time customer, needed a helping of good manners!

Thought we would try The Nancy for my mother in-laws birthday. The meal was well presented, three of us had the belly pork which we have all had many times in other restaurants but unfortunately on this occasion it was the saltiest meal I have ever had in my whole life it was disgusting the pork was fine but the top of it was inedible, my wife and I had to cut the top off and leave it, the mother in law couldn’t eat any of it and left it all

Very nice food service a bit slow but that’s down to been very busy will definitely be back bit hard to find if you don’t know the area but beautiful clean and smart

The Nancy is a newly refurbished pub. Has the opportunity for early afternoon tea or a restaurant meal. Ice cream parlour too. Friendly service and very much al a carte menu. Stylish presentation, but if you r a hungry farmer, you need two portions. Prices on the upper end of Holderness. Lovely atmosphere.

From entry to departure made to feel so welcome and waitress. Food was if a very high standard and gorgeous. Cooked to order brill.....exceptional service from Tegan....Lovely girl credit to the establishment.

Had Sunday lunch recently which was awful.We both ordered the beef and struggled to cut the meat so asked for steak knives but still struggled to cut through it, lots of fat and grisly.Yorkshire puddings had been reheated and where hard.Only two very small roast potatoes but the rest of the vegetables were good.My husband couldn’t eat a lot of his meal because it was sat on horseradish sauce which he hates! All this was pointed out to the waitress who simply said she would tell the chef.No offer of the sweet menu after this so we paid and left.Probably won’t return.

Great food service and always such a lovely host. Sunday lunch is always a good choice and the steaks are always extremely good

We have had several great meals hear over the past 3 years but after tonight's visit we felt the level of service was poor.

Having to organise a Birthday treat for my sister in law who was visiting the area from Scotland we were advised by a friend to visit the Nancy Pub in Burton Pidsea. Although the restaurant was busy we managed to secure a table for four and settled in for a very pleasant evening.

We were staying at a nearby campsite and called in to grab something to eat with our son,aged 7. Unfortunately as I was walking to our table with our drinks I was informed that they were no longer serving food (we hadn't checked food serving times). As we were walking away a lovely lady whom we assumed was either the owner or manager stopped us to say she would check in the kitchen as she didn't want us to leave hungry. We were not disappointed! 2 absolutely delicious lamb dinners and our little boy had fish and homemade chips-he loved it. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and the food was beautifully presented and tasted even better! Thanks to them we enjoyed a lovely family meal to end our bank holiday weekend.

As it had been a couple of years since our last visit, we decided to go and try the Sunday lunch menu a few friends had recommended. The food once again was excellent, Not as cheap as some local carvery's but you really do get what you pay for, the staff are all so friendly, nothing is too much trouble, needless to say we wont be leaving it another two years before going again.

Just got home from a lovely Sunday dinner.we had the roast beef and all the trimming which were all cooked to a very high standard.for dessert I had the Apple and pear crumble with ice cream.all reasonably priced.will definitely go back again to try some of there other dishes.

Just visited the Nancy Inn at Burton Pidsea to celebrate our 28th anniversary, a gem of a place on the east coast near to Withernsea, maybe 7 miles inland but worth the drive.

Have been a few times now the food is very nice the roast dinner was lovely and very reasonable but have tried other things on the menu to and never been disappointed recommend a try

Me and my girlfriend were staying just down the road and this was recommended to us by where we were staying.

My sister had bought an afternoon tea as an Xmas gift and we'd decided to go as a family to The Nancy Inn. We had a young baby with us, but that didn't phase the staff. A high chair was provided and the staff were very helpful and attentive. The afternoon tea was delicious and excellent value for the money spent.

Not been for years was once a regular trip for a beer but has dramatically changed inside. Nicely decorated pub with 2eating areas abs an ample stock bar with draught beer and lagers spirits etc. Ordered sausage and mash and the Nancy burger all nicely served by pleasent staff and very good at very reasonable prices

Pea and Ham Terrine was a masterpiece, as was my wife's Prawns in Filo.

I have just returned home after a weekend away in the area. We happened to come across this restaurant by chance but what an absolute find. From its surroundings, the decor, the staff, the first class service and the excellent outstanding food. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed every single course and there wasn’t anything at all that we could fault. It was worth every penny spent and such a lovely memory for our weekend away in this area for the first time . Thank you

my wife and I decided to try this establishment and found it very welcoming. The food was piping hot and well presented. The taste did not let it down,and I can recommend it to anyone.

We visited the Nancy Inn on Saturday evening. I reserved a table beforehand as was advised it would be busy and glad we did. It's a very nice village pub with a good eating area, nicely decorated and a relaxed atmosphere. Service was very efficient, staff friendly and informative, and there was plenty of variety on the menu. We had mains and puddings, which with drinks came in at around £100 which we thought was good value for what we had. The quality of the food was excellent although I did think the portion of the accompaniments were rather mean. My partner had the smallest portion of mash I'd ever seen!!. Other than that we were very pleased with our meal and visit overall and would definitely visit again when in the area.

Arrived to find we'd been put in the bar area. This would have been OK , however, a group of men at the bar spent the whole evening loudly using foul language ,telling stories about who had s*****d who ( I kid you not) and how sick and drunk someone had been.

Not having been here before it was nice to come. Very busy so you need to book. The servi was top notch and the staff very friendly.

Visited for our annual lunch. Terrific food and service. Steak was superb. Everyone had a great time.

Meals for 5 adults & 3 children at 6pm on a Thursday evening. Service excellent & very friendly. All the meals for both adults & children were beautifully presented & very tasty. The starters, mains , & desserts were all perfectly cooked and very delicious we will definitely be visiting again. On a rainy Thursday evening the place was completely full and had a warm & cosy atmosphere. Would definitely recommend

Popped in for a bite to eat with my sister. Hadn’t booked but it was early 5pm. Got a table. Had the special. Salmon and cucumber with a lemon and dill sorbet. It was delicious. And had the fish and chip for main meal. Lovely as always. Would recommend a visit as never had a bad meal there, always been amazing. Will defiantly return very soon.

We were all very please with the quality and quantity of the food that we all ordered at The Nancy Inn, the place and people are very welcoming, and well set out for our Christmas celebrations at lunch time, I would highly recommend a visit and we shall be going again in the New Year.

We drive past the end of the road most weekends on the way to Sand le mere caravan park, and were told about this hidden gem by our friends on site.They wernt wrong.We called on the way home on Sunday and all 4 of us were impressed with the food Both the starters and mains were very well presented by lovely friendly staff and more importantly tasted fantastic ,both the lamb and beef were cooked to perfection .service was fast but not rushed and all served in a lovely atmosphere.We will be regular visitors next season for sure!

Visited lunchtime today as a surprise Birthday lunch for my Dad. The pub has recently been refurbished and it looks lovely. Friendly and welcoming. We had ploughmans and fish & chips, both were outstanding. Thank you to all concerned, we had a lovely time and will definitely be visiting again.

A friend told us about this hidden gem & we were not disappointed.I can't say that we've heard about it before & it's only 20 mins away.Somebody needs to advertise this place more.

Just returned home having eaten at the Nancy I have to say I was very impressed with the food, excellent quality and plenty of it. Would I eat here again yes I would.

Me and my mum visited the Nancy as we had heard good reviews well I was very disappointed the place itself is beautifully decorated and staff very friendly and helpful but the food was overpriced and not very appetising in the slightest tiny portions and cheap ingredients we was very disappointed, the food was the only let down which is such a shame as it's a very nice establishment with lovely staff and deco.

I was taken here for my birthday by my family - we had a nice table and the food was very good - sadly a number of items on the menu were not available but what was, was very tasty

Dropped in for a coffee & ice cream for the kids only to be turned away As we hadn't booked even those they were empty wasn't welcoming at all so we went to the spotted duck at fitling would definitely recommend the spotted duck would not go back to the Nancy but as they are turning away customers they obviously are doing ok

Esta es la tercera vez que he visitado el Nancy durante los 3 últimos años para ver si podían arreglárselas con los anteriores. Se debe sanar la memoria de no muy agradable. Así, será más que nunca se efectúa para ir. Se podría aceptar una invitación para una reunión de algunos descripción si alguien está pagando, pero yo no estoy pagando por eso otra vez. No tome una foto de las hortalizas dare como no creer lo antiguo. Fueron las zanahorias, las arrugas de la coliflor y el brócoli fue patata confitada era marrón y floja. El pollo estaba bueno! Las patatas también, pero no mi esposa obtener una salsa, no, así que tenía que arreglárselas con una cena en seco. ¿Cuánto se tarda en hacer una salsa sin gluten! Al menos puedo hacer eso con cornflour. Así que nunca, nunca más. La comida era excelente, buena carne magra con tarta de ale y macizos, etc. pero no verduras salsa. Sólo las setas! Así que, en general, hemos intentado 3 veces y no han tenido tiempo de sobra para poder atender una dieta de los anteriores, pero no he. Una lástima, ya que el resto de la comida se veía muy bien, pero no para mi esposa. 2 estrellas eran en general comida como mi esposa no toque las verduras tan sólo tenía pollo a la parrilla y patatas en seco. £12 - 00! ! ! Ella tenía un vaso de jugo de naranja para beber a ayudar. Así que, en un espectáculo muy pobre.

Volver para el sábado un almuerzo con los abuelos y los niños. Por suerte fue un día precioso y la zona de juegos exterior era genial para nuestra pequeña niña. La comida era estupenda y el personal muy amable. El lugar es absolutamente impecable!

Been a few times now and though it is meant to be a pub its more a restaurant feel to the place. Not homely at all, but for sure they can make a pie!!!OMG it was the best one I have ever had. Nice veggies, friendly staff. All in a very pleasant place to eat with amazing pies.
