This place is on my doorstep popped in for lunch today and it was bloody lush.. first class service and who knew a jacket spud could be so bloody tasty. Deffo going back x
We received a voucher for Christmas and were excited about our visit as we have been before and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time however we were slightly disappointed. The service was generally good and the food was good overall but we made the mistake of mentioning that our beef had been very/significantly fatty, evidence on the side of our otherwise empty plate. This was unexpected and different to our previous visits and have to say our concern was not met graciously at all. There was some excuse about it being the end of the joint and were asked if we had asked for the beef to be served rare, incidentally we were not asked how we would like it served, and actually it shouldn’t make a difference as at the price we were paying we would have expected it to be very lean! Unfortunately this has made us question whether we want to visit again and left us wondering if the Michelin star is still deserved? We would have expected a better response from the chef!!
I am writing to contact the Millhouse to complain that I have a £100 voucher which I was advised we would be able to use but am now unable to contact anyone to confirm what we can do about a refund now that the restaurant cannot meet their obligation.
We had an evening meal at Seabirds on the Saturday of Easter Weekend, so it was absolutely packed.
Despite this, the service and food was absolutely brilliant! By far the best creamy garlic mushrooms I have ever eaten and my steak was perfectly done. And if you are a cheesecake fan, you are in luck.
The manager in particular was very competent and friendly. A very large table came in well after their table time and tried to cause trouble and he handled them very professionally.
A must visit if you are in Flamborough.
Good food, we had poppadom and pickles, chicken Jalfezi, pilau rice and a garlic naan. (If I was.being picky the only criticism was the chicken Jalfezi was a little dry for my taste). Nice layout, staff very friendly/helpful. We were early so only people in
We went as a large group. They took a little while to take our order, but starters arrived fairly quickly after that. Unfortunately it was then another hour before our mains came out, with no communication to let us know there was a delay etc. Whilst they were perfectly friendly, and the food was fine, I wouldn't go here again.
Kindly fitted us in last minute as we had been let down by another pub we had booked at. Staff friendly and helpful, service good and a wide choice of menu and good value.Food came quickly and was delicious. Would recommend the steak pie! Will be returning this week.

We were a party of 10 attending a wedding, those who stayed were delighted with the food , service and the rooms which were comfortable and clean.
The staff were excellent, nothing was too much trouble.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending the Peppered Pig .
Para todo el personal de The North Star todos trabajan muy duro y el almuerzo del domingo de hoy fue excelente la comida y el servicio es increíble y vale la pena la hora de viaje que nos lleva
Absolutely fantastic experience on the gorgeous East Yorkshire Coast.
Ice cream is wonderful with so much choice of flavours but plenty for those (weird) people that don't like ice-cream. Fabulous walk to the beach from the cafe, and if you want to camp or caravan their is that option too at the site.

We live around the corner but haven't been here before.
Food is excellent. Very nice atmosphere and interior design.
We'll definitely come again.
