Good food great service gets busy though but worth the wait

Bar Budda is a great place to meet friends for lunch and drinks with a nice relaxed atmosphere, the punanie’s are to die for with plenty of choice and very tasty, the toasties are nice too plenty of filling. The place is spotlessly clean, the staff are polite and friendly. Will definitely be back, we highly recommend this little gem in Bridlington.. 5🌟

Despite having lived in Bridlington for over 2 years, this was my first visit to Buddha Bar. I've seen several reviews & they're all excellent, as is my review, this is a really cool place, stylishly fitted out, great food etc, the staff are lovely, very efficient & attentive, I thoroughly recommend a visit.

Just popped in on our walk was recommended to us. Top draw I say staff and food faultless. And very dog friendly Tessa loved the treats. Thanks.

Had heard good things about the toasties and found myself nearby and hungry. Had them to takeaway and I am pleased to report they were great. Will definitely return.

I have ordered a Coconut soup which was tasteless missing lemongrass and ginger, I also ordered green curry which was the worst I ever eaten, it wad blant no spiciness just taste like fish sauce, and coconut rice, which was partly undercooked and no coconut flavour at all, all together a very not enjoyable meal. Extremely disappointed.

Visited again today and lovely place. Staff and owner really friendly, excellent coffee and food. Highly recommended, looking forward to trying it out on an evening without the kids 😉

Always use to directly order from their website and they were really good, don’t know what happened..went downhill from last few orders. This was the worst order yet. Starters were burnt, absolutely cremated and inedible (the restaurant kindly did resend another portion), rice was stale (definitely old rice cooked day before + no coconut flavour) and red Thai curry was meh alright (quite watered down rather than creamy). Unfortunately won’t be ordering from there again.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff

Clearly the kitchen was overwhelmed with orders. The delivery was mega late, drink was missing (but it was only one soft drink and the delivery was free so let‘s call it quits) and the food was cold. I know that it is a hard gig for restaurants and Friday night was probably the wrong day to order, but still…

Food was generally good (if not very hot) but the sweetcorn fritters had suffered from being in transit for so long. Had to text and call to find out where the food was, as the website said it was on its way, then said it had been delivered when there was no sign of it. Arrived an hour late.

I came here to my work colleagues and my dinner I got the steak and blue cheese panini and It was absolutely phenomenal, very fresh and tasty will be definitely recommending you to people thank you very much

Our curry and soup were nice but the rice turned up as a solid block. It had clearly been left for a long time and was totally inedible.

I really loved the salmon spring rolls but just didn’t like the beef pad Thai - the meat was really dry, noodles were as well without a lot of flavor, and it was way too spicy

no cutlery yet you can see this is being delivered to a hotel. food took forever. not impressed with the service.

Very cosy atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming. We were served quickly and the food is absolutely delicious! Definitley a place to visit for dinner and i will be going back very soon as i think this could be my favourite place to eat in Bridlington!

Very good for a take away, would order from them again for sure. Satay chicken was delicious, so was the soup. Came much, much quicker than estimated and we weren’t quite ready for it, but at least we were at home and able to take delivery of it.

The Panang curry was terrible, like water , with hardly ever pawns Will never order again

Loved visiting this place, we went in for a late lunch and was given a warm welcome. We ordered panini's they were the best I've ever had. The guy at the bar makes a great cocktail. Such great food, & friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back when we are next in Brid.

Often passed here when I'm in Bridlington. Decided to stop off for lunch today. Really nice food- my husband had jacket potato which had been baked in the oven not microwaved, topped with butter and cheese and a side salad I had a delicious corned beef mozzarella and dijon mustard panini and both had nice coffee. All competitively priced, good service, friendly staff. Will definitely return. Thank you.

Delivery came in good time, but the food was really sub-standard. The 'sticky rice' was literally like a brick, totally inedible. The rest was just not that great. Wouldn't recommend, sadly prob the worst Thai take out I've had.

First time going here. Won't be the last. Amazing warm welcome. Super hot drinks. Freshly prepared food. Flavours amazing. Clean and tidy, great atmosphere and very reasonably priced. I thought this was just a bar until I saw food posted on Facebook. Had me drooling so came in with a friend. Looking forward to coming back.

Very welcoming, décor is 👌 quirky. Me & my partner ordered the chicken tikka panini served with coleslaw on the side. The best panini we have ever tasted & the homemade coleslaw is the best we've ever tasted too! Highly recommend! Great service & friendly.

No better place to call in on after arriving in from the train station. Won't find a better panini and loads of options. Very decently priced. The home made coleslaw worth the 5* on its own

Our order didn't take long and was delivered early, and the food was delicious! My only note is that the Pad Thai was too spicy, in my experience Pad Thais are not supposed to be THAT much spicy. But aside from that, we loved our food and we were very satisfied with the delivery service and overall experience!

It's alright but nothing special

Called in yesterday after seeing that they had a salad bar and were dog friendly. Extremely friendly young staff were very welcoming. We had a chicken and bacon salad bowl and a toasted wrap absolutely stuffed with peppered salami, mozzarella and basil pesto. My husband said that the salad bow was the best thing he’d eaten since we arrived In Bridlington eight months ago. We’ve had some great food elsewhere so this really was a compliment. Today I went in with my sister and brother in law and they were equally impressed as we had been. And trust me when I say that she is very hard to please. My sister had a jacket potato with bolognese and cheese. My brother in law opted for the very spicy chicken and chorizo with spicy cheese, jalapeños and scotch bonnet sauce toasted sandwich. He was even offered a cooling glass of milk to go with it and he did need it. I had the chicken, bacon and cheddar toasted wrap. Two of us had coffees and my sister had an excellent strawberry and banana smoothie. I took a salad bowl home for my husband as everything is also available as a takeaway. Don’t know what it is like at night or when the bar is busy but we’ll certainly be back to work our way through the menu. I’ll just have to keep going to fat fighters every week as a consequence, but both experiences are well worth it.

First time in this cafe bar. Great atmosphere, plenty of free and paid parking nearby. The prices were very competitive and the quality of the food was exceptional. My wife had a jacket potato with beans, cheese and salad. I had the best toastie I have ever had (ham, cheese, chutney and onion) served with salad and homemade coleslaw. Extensive menu, take away if you want it too. Friendly staff, all freshly cooked. Recommended, nothing not to like.

Rice wasnt cooked enough Hard rice to eat wasn't quite tasty. Very dissapointed

Last time ordering here. They used to do the best Pad Kee Mao ive tried but lately they are making it so spicy I have to throw it away. I gave it one more chance and requested very low spice explaining the situation. They filled it with chopped cilly and 14 big pieces of red chilly. Just impossible to eat. Plus, the water they sell is 50ml not 500 as it says in the menu.

The Hungry Buddha is by far my most go to place for a delish takeout! Any time I arrange a take away night with friends and I introduce them here they LOVE IT!! so far no complaints at all!!

Food was of good quality. Not the greatest curry but certainly not bad.

The food was okay! We were really looking forward to the tempura soft shell crab,but when it came it was small, over cooked and tasted like oil. The rest of the food was also mediocre - the spring rolls were the best thing we received

The food is fab. We usually get the Nasi goreng, masamman curry. Som tam. All delicious. Today because of the heat we tried the grilled beef salad. Wow! Tender beef, good quantity. Will definitely be ordering that again! The spice levels are perfect. Spicy but then again you can get insipid Thai dishes anywhere. Don’t change the spice levels. It’s the reason we keep coming back!

Best nasa gora rice dish, fresh and piping hot, ordered soo many times now and each time it’s never disappointing, recommend everyone to try it, you will only come back for more!

Every single thing was delicious. Very flavoursome, lots of vegetables, and the tofu had a good texture.

Certain dishes I would rate as excellent but some dishes are not highly rated. Love the Penang Chicken (red curry) also Nasi Goreng. Soft Shell crab Tempura was not cooked correctly. Was cold and dripping of water in the inside. I also requested some fresh chillies in the notes but none were sent. I will order again in the future since I love the Chicken Red curry

Really good food - had Massaman, green curry, and Pad See Ew. Restaurant very responsive to allergy needs. Accidentally ordered collection and they were nice enough to send their own driver to us! Arrived and still hot and fresh. Spring rolls + corn fritters delivered crispy.
