Always fantastic food, atmosphere and service. The staff here are extremely friendly,helpful and as regular customers we have a good laugh. Fantastic evening with 14 of us celebrating a work colleagues 50th birthday. Allowing us to bring our own cake Zimmer frame and balloons. Thank you to Dave and the girls for a great night

Had a meal with 8 friends tonight. All of our meals were exactly what we ordered. Perfectly cooked and all arrived at the same time. Staff were attentive but not in our faces. We had a wonderful time & have booked our Christmas meal.

Had the dressed crab. Not value for money . I Changed chilli and garlic potatoes for . Fries served in only as I can describe a teacup size . . Dish cames with dressed crab, crispy 2 of 1/4 flatbread with a cold slab of butter on it . Garnish was some wet shredded lettues . All for the price of £16 . Get more for you money ordering fish and chips!

Took our son out for a late birthday meal. First time being back in here since goodness knows when…but , wow, I’m so glad we came in. The food is unreal ! Son had chicken parmargina, I had Greek flatbread , other half had beef stroganoff. Took photographs , simply beautiful! I’ve come here twice now. I got the Philly cheese steak first time and it was good. Then got the crab and prawn linguine the second time. Some of the prawns still had their shell kon them which was wasn’t great but overall it was nice. My husband got the chicken Parma with garlic fried potatoes and it was amazing (for pub food) If you come here I really recommend you get that. Staff are friendly and nice. It’s a bit pricey including the drinks but it is nice for special occasions.

On our first visit the ambiance, the food and the service were first rate. On our second visit they were not. Although we had booked, we were seated in what seemed to be a bar area with a massive TV screen playing, although without sound. The food was adequate but despite us saying we wanted a sweet and coffee, a menu couldn’t be provided and we had to go to a board on the wall in another room to select a sweet. But then in any case, no one came to take our order despite waitresses coming into the room several times and the table next to us ordering their sweets despite their having had their main meal after us. We left without having a sweet or coffee. I doubt we will go back.

Visited here for a treat off my son for my birthday with my mum too. I’ve got coeliac disease and so has my son. I ordered the chilli and lime salmon skillet with king prawns, clearly labelled GF on the menu. My son ordered the king prawn curry with rice and a garlic flat bread, also clearly labelled GF. We ordered our food and I asked the waitress you definitely get the flat bread and it’s definitely GF, asked twice and she said yes. Absolutely great. After 10 minutes I was advised I couldn’t have the marinade flavouring with my salmon and king prawns. I said well why is it labelled GF then if it’s not suitable to be told well you can just have the salmon and prawns. I said well I’ll have something else then. Ordered the same as my son as that came with a flat bread. Nice to have something to wipe the curry off the plate and enjoy. How wrong was I. Our food arrived, no breads. I asked, where are our breads please ? Was advised we couldn’t have them. I said well I double checked with the waitress when she took our order that we could have them and she said yes, both times !! Safe to say I was very disappointed visiting after all the great reviews of the food. Nowhere on the menu does it say anything about not having certain items on the menu that are labelled gluten free.

This place was recommended to us by the place we were staying in the next village and what a good recommendation it was! Although it was very busy, we were found a table by a very friendly member of staff and found plenty of choice on the varied menu. The food was delicious, served quickly and very reasonably priced. It was busy for the obvious reason that it is very good!!!

Visited with close friends, excellent food and service we will certainly making a return visit! It was one of the best Sunday luches ever had!

This place never fails!! Brilliant menu Superb flawless quality food and plenty of it! So tasty and filling. You know you are onto a winner when you have to book in advance.
