Delivery was great and food as good as ever

Always speedy deliveries and always very hot when food arrives . Food was amazing

We were staying local to the area and wanted to sample some indian/turkish food. Kismet has a good rating by others so we chose here. The menu was slightly different to what we get back home(Glasgow) and I spoke with the staff & I think the owner/boss too about what I was looking for in my meal. Staff were friendly and explained the options that would match my request. Food is cooked on a griddle instead of a grill. Although I prefer grill, I'm not rating down for this. My first time trying griddle & the food was cooked fresh in front of you & is very tasty. Kebab meat was great. The chilli sauce has a slight texture to it, taking me back to the sauce I would get on a kebab at a local kebab shop in my hometown. We also sampled the shops own chipsalt. This wasn't overpowering & the flavour was nice, so we took some back home with us, as my daughter liked it. For griddle cooked food, you can't go wrong. Thanks to the staff for being helpful & welcoming to me & my daughter. For anyone looking to visit for a takeaway, they only accept CASH. Not an issue and not a mark down, but in the event anyone reads this review then it helps them prepare in advance. The owner/boss also mentioned his daughter in law is due shortly - so congratulations when the baby comes. Shukran!

Very slow delivery over two hours after ordering. Pizza was over done black on top. Been using kismet over 25 years and this is the first bad experience I have had with them. Probably just a blip on the radar normally first class quality.

Still hasn't come and states delivered. Ordered at 8.30 and it is now 10 o'clock. Terrible delivery from kismet. States it's been delivered but not up to now.

The food is reasonably priced. it all arrived hot. The pizza and garlic bread were standard for a takeout shop nothing special. the cheesy chips were loaded with cheese, but was a rather small spot in for the price. deliver driver was nice and polite .

order received within half an hour of ordering! really good

Donner meat was really cold, as if it had just come out fridge. Cheese couldn't even melt. Very disappointed. Time to try elsewhere.

Only one can was delivered but wasn’t worth a phone call to get another delivered. Just worth a mention 👍🏼

Tasty pizzas and friendly delivery

Waited an hour and 50mins, which would be okay for decent food, but that's not what we received. Wings and chips were soggy, think some of the worst chips I've ever had. Chicken nuggets were weirdly chewy. Pizza was okay though and thankfully the free garlic bread was nice, that filled the gap of small portions also.

Best yet! Plenty of pizza topping and plenty of mixed kebab meats. Delicious! Thanks.

I appreciate that there was a Christmas fair on however, the food was cold, chips were reheated and like rubber, the burger was watery and not up to its usual standard. This has been the case for the past few times we have eaten here. (Order placed via other family) I usually give a few chances before I leave a review like this however there has been no change for a while now.

The kebab meat is excellent, the meatinit calzone is very tasty, and the burgers are very nice. The chips are great and garlic breads are fantastic!

Good that we got was very good but missed off an entire £7 kebab with garlic sauce which was very annoying. Ordered quite a bit of food but missed off an entire kebab with salad and garlic sauce

The food was delicious, we ordered for a staff party at one of the local care homes, and everyone commented on how tasty the pizzas were. Excellent quality, delivered on time, and we will definitely be using it again for future gatherings.

Perfect delivery experience and amazing pizzas for Kismet

The last couple of times we have ordered our usual it’s not been that great and haven’t ordered for awhile but we wanted to give it another chance, it’s the worst it’s been pizza not cooked properly can’t even pick it up without it falling apart so disappointing 😕

Such a shame as Kismet is normally really good quality. Tonight the meal was 50 minutes late, soggy, luke warm, and tasteless!

1st time ordering from here and can definitely say that it won't be the last. Order placed at 5pm to be delivered at 6.30pm and came spot on time. The calzones were beautiful and packed full of filling and piping hot when delivered.

To be fair, the suggested wait time was nearly two hours, but at least it didn't take that long and it arrived 30 mins before it said it might. Tasty, hot and a cheeky free cheese and garlic bread. The pizza crust was just the right thickness.

Waiting time was an hour and half for delivery would have been happy to wait because food was amazing as always however it was here about 45 earlier than expected. Always lovely and definitely recommend to everyone

Tastes nice, the pizza and the chicken + Chips was nice, the Large Mixed Kebab is not worth £15 at all, no value for money at all, called to complain as they forgot the drinks and complained about the Large Mixed Kebab, The drink issue was fixed, won't be going there for a Kebab, Mayne other stuff.

All the food from here is superb. The volcano sauce is genius, the best hot sauce you'll ever taste (if you can handle it) pizzas are awesome, chicken is amazing. Best take away and always nice to see the 5 star top hygiene rating.

One of the best takeaways we have had in a long time! Everything was hot and fresh, potion sizes were good and well seasoned. Only criticism I have is that the garlic bread could have a stronger garlic taste, apart from that I could not fault it!! 💯

I rarely bother writing reviews but I must say the pizza we got from here this evening was the best we've had for a long time - dough is lovely and fresh, and the toppings on the pizza were beyond generous and nothing was overly cooked (I often find the toppings can be quite hard and dry like donner meat and chicken etc), not from here though. Finally found d my favourite pizza place 😋 Please don't ever change!

Amazing! This take-away was recommended to me by friends after complaining about how bad other take-aways are especially when you spend so much these days…. Anyways our experience here cannot be faulted it’s quite far from us but none of the food was cold and was all lovely, we ordered offer number 5 and everything was so nice. Definitely our go to take-away from now on 🙌🏼 definitely recommend

Food was hot despite travelling over a mile something the takeaways close by can't do. Food was amazing again. The garlic on the pizza and garlic bread is really fresh and there is ample on your order. The hips are freshly cooked and not reheated. First class definitely recommend this place

Went for a pizza and chicken kebab for delivery, the wife was hungry whilst I was out, with a friend, got home about 2 hours later and they sent a Donna kebab, rang them and they did ordered that, I have never ordered a Donna kebab before, hate the stuff,, I ended up putting phone down, won't, be going there again

Fast delivery but the pizza was inedible. Burnt on the top, salty, and greasy. Ended up throwing it away after one slice. Garlic bread was covered in grease.

Great food been going here for years very rarely had a problem

Food always good, only ever had 1 order wrong in hundreds of orders, always hot on delivery, Not the cheapest takeaway but the quality of the food, the service from ordering to the delivery is top notch, as the establishment knows we are regular customers, so they must be doing everything great, used to use a different takeaway but something happened and the service went downhill (not the delivery side) so tried different shops and now are completely satisfied with Kismet, unless they totally change I'll be sticking with them

Food tasted like out of date specialy chicken. It was mixed kebab also doner meat tasted wierd. Realy didnt enjoy even complementary garlic bread with cheese was very poor quality, looked like it was cooked 3 days ago.

First time ordering but very happy. Food was good and delivered early. My apologies again to the driver for missing their call, but they managed to find the address anyway and were very friendly. Great experience all around.
