The best restaurants in West Midlands

My friend and I were originally booked in for Easter Sunday (£45 lunch), however, the restaurant had to cancel due to power issues. The communication around the issue was great, and we rebooked for the following week.. it was worth the wait! We both loved the food - the concepts around the dishes were novel and the flavours were fab. The service was spot on; attentive and friendly, but not overbearing. This place justified the hype I have seen over social media. Exceptional value for money. Thoroughly recommend and can't wait to come back!

First visit to Henley Kitchen & Bakery, as recommended by family friend. The staff were very welcoming & friendly. Large breakfast was made up of quality products and extremely tasty. Sauces we're branded and not cheap satchets. Sandwiches, omelette looked lovely. Good range of choices on the menu. Bakery goods bread & cakes good choices. Service was quick & efficient, would highly recommend and will be back again.

we always try to come here when we can get in and don’t fancy cooking one ourselves. the meat selection is always good and very generous, their roast potatoes are the best - lovely and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. it is a carvery so can help yourself. they unfortunately don’t have any mash but we just add extra roasties! their gravy is lovely and homemade with the meat juices in. the staff are lovely and attentive. our favourite place to go for sunday lunch!

Ordered a takeout absolutely delicious. Specially the lamb naga and mixed shashlick , so well done chef.

Decent pizza, some good staff but some awful

Haven't used here for about 7 years since getting slimy chicken but friends recommended it and our usual moon house hadley was closed. Delivery was fast and food hot. We ordered plain simple food for grandchildren. Plain soft noodles was sent as a chowmein...with beansprouts etc that they don't like, however I tried it and it was quite good. Chicken balls & sweet n sour was good. Separate bbq sauce was disgusting....like a tasteless salty gloop. Ditto bbq ribs....no bbq flavour and the skinniest meat less ribs I've ever had! Not much better than 7 yrs ago

We have our monthly club meeting here, Always very well looked after.very nice friendly staff.there is a lovely restaurant attach to the hotel.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy good food. Leek and potato soup excellent. New to Audley and glad I found a local place that serves good coffee and food.

Decided to have a cup of coffee whilst having a look at the beautiful stained glass windows in St Mary's Church. Very pleasant and helpful staff and a delicious coffee served in a very grand setting.

So glad to find this gem on a Sunday evening. Quick service, generous portions, tasty hot food. What's not to like?! Son left his phone after we had waited for food, but he remembered after about 20 mins of leaving and was relieved and delighted to have it handed back to him with no bother.

Just had a Saturday treat night takeaway, arrived to a lovely clean tidy restaurant welcomed by really friendly staff, our meal was ready within 10 minutes of arriving having been given a time of collection, honestly can’t fault the service, got home and the meal was amazing, we honestly can’t fault a single thing, it was wrapped to keep it warm and there was plenty of food and value for money, 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend this restaurant for either eat in or a cheeky take away, well done guys and thank you very much
