Chung Ying Takeaway in Worcester

It's good! Generous portions with a good amount of nicely cooked duck in the duck chow mein. Always a friendly quick service too. Not sure if they do delivery? But I think it's worth the trip to collect!

Great food, service and really special staff. We have been a couple of times and will be back there soon.... A hidden gem!

I don't know know if this establishment is in any way related to the one I knew. I used to go to the Chinese takeaway here around 1993/4. It was probably the best I have ever been to. I still think about it now, this week in fact. I have lived in Spain for 25 years, but my reference for Chinese takeaway is still right here. Probably old management long gone...but it was awesome 30 years ago. Respect to the current owners. Hope business is ggod. Many happy memories

I’ve recently moved back to Worcester after a few years away. Staff that answered the phone were friendly and knowledgeable. Time stated for collecting was accurate and more importantly the food was superb.

Ordered a take away from Chung Ying but my special chicken fried rice was inedible. In each spoonful there were over 20 pieces of chopped garlic, you couldn’t taste anything except garlic. I phoned and complained and they explained they use ready prepared minced garlic and clearly too much had been added to this dish. Rather than go out again that evening (when they offered a complimentary dish) they said next time we ordered we could have a dish then. I wrote theses details down on their takeaway menu but when we ordered our meal tonight explaining one of the dishes should be complimentary they denied all knowledge. Interestingly they did say there were 4 complaints that night but they had no record of mine? If you have 5 complaints a night it would indicate you need to explore why? Customer service was appalling. They made out I was lying and I just wanted a free meal. Very upsetting. I would not recommend.

New year’s eve Food was fantastic as always, there was a long wait, but it was to be expect when all restaurants are closed . Thank you again in these unprecedented times .

We visited the take away after a long drive home from a break away . We hadn’t been here for a couple of years and we were so pleased with the great choice and quality of the food. Service was brilliant! Only 2 minutes drive away we shall use again !

Have one every month always lovely! Chips are the best in worcester only Chinese I would ever use, customer service is always amazing

They loved the food as much as we do and said it was incomparable to their local Chinese. I totally agree. The food here is great, consistently and having lived in the area for 8 years they've never let us down or even made a mistake ! Great takeaway, I just wish they did delivery!

been going here for 20 years or more. We think the food here is as tasty as any we have tried in or out of Worcester. Service is rarely more than about 12 minutes and less than that at quieter times. The menu is slightly traditional for example no seafood/fish other than prawns whereas newer places tend to offer squid. In fact a new takeaway has opened opposite and it does fried squid which is great but their ribs are not a patch on this place

Never had a bad meal over 20 years. All guests here love their food. I don’t think No their food can be bettered

Great chinese takeaway from here always! Food is fresh and hot and waiting time is really quick! Portions are generous especially the sweet and sour chicken balls made from with pieces of chicken breast!

this place is good I have been going here for about five/six years now and the take away food is very good its just about one of the best takeaways in in Worcester with excellent service try it out

A friend's been using this takeaway for ages, so finally made the effort to drive to the other side of Worcester to try it out. Ordered the house special chow mein, which was very tasty. The portion size could have been a little larger, but for around £5, it was still good value given how good it tasted.
