New management, very friendly and welcoming pub. Lovely pie with gravy and fries. Reasonably priced drinks and a quiz on tuesdays. Support your local. Lovely wsrm log burner, very cosy.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy good food. Leek and potato soup excellent. New to Audley and glad I found a local place that serves good coffee and food.

After previous visits to this pub for food that was enjoyable we booked a table. On the telephone we were told it was a limited menu, we were thinking maybe they were having some work done in the kitchen or something. Going from steaks burgers all the usual pub food, we couldn't believe we had a choice of corned beef hash, lasagne or cottage pie and that was it. Decided to make the best of it, being hopeful it was going to be really special. Sadly special it was not, tiny portions, of microwaved food with a bit of green stuff added on the side. My guests we very elderly and super polite but we were so embarrassed. Pudding was two choices with either ice cream or custard which they had ran out of the day before, the Pudding was so dry and ice cream tasted very cheap, sad really. Running a business myself I do understand the pressures we are facing, but guys either do food properly or don't do it at all.

Went fir a meal, ordered drinks got a table, only to be told if you havent booked you cannot order food! Wouldnt have ordered the drinks.

We use this pub quite often. Owners and staff are really friendly. Food is yummy and reasonable. Chips and onion rings are delicious and homemade.

It's so refreshing to visit a well run pub /restaurant that offers a great selection of beers,good food and excellent customer service.. Some would say "it's not rocket science" however I would say "it's also the kind of pub that some landlords would do well...

What seemed at first to be a nice welcoming pub, with a homely atmosphere. Sadly let down my rude staff with a judgmental attitude, unfortunately if you don’t look the part in this pub you are asked to leave.

Called for lunch on the reccomendation of a friend, found it to be nice and clean with friendly staff and good cask beers on offer. Food was tasty and plentiful, service quick staff attentive. Beer was nicely kept will call again.

The pub has recently been taken over by Mark, Wendy and family who have given the place a nice new look.There is a lovely warm and friendly environment with excellent staff who not only serve great drinks and fantastic food but also a good honest atmosphere.There is a massive decked seating area outside (for those British Summers) as well as a well covered smoking area should that be your thing.They have a pool table and darts board as well as several big screen TV's showing all the sports on Sky (and terrestrial channels).The pub has good wheelchair access to the rear and families are very welcome.They have good live music on every weekend.A perfect pub to chill with family and friends to enjoy food and drink or just drinks. We are locals to the village of Audley and have seen this pub change hands and decor over the years but the new proprietor has put a lot of money and brought the pub forward and tidied it up my family and I had a lovely Sunday lunch my wife has had many an afternoon meal with her friends always been nice.

Somos asiduos el domingo carvery y nunca deja de sorprendernos. Siempre una gran selección de carnes especialmente para un cordero amante como yo. Como muchas patatas y verduras como quieras todo servido en la mesa. El chef es siempre muy flexible y nada es demasiado problema. Yo tengo una hija adolescente muy quisquillosa. Para los fines mi marido es un trabajo que tuve un almuerzo de los domingos.

Llegamos sin previo aviso en un buen viernes y calurosamente por el personal del bar. El pequeño de la comida es una delicia, ya que entré y te quieres comer. Excelente opción en el menú y los especiales y el personal muy amable y servicial.

Nos detuvimos en para el almuerzo de domingo después de un largo paseo, el personal es muy amable y servicial. Todos nos ofrecen carnes asadas y no nos decepcionó. El cordero y la carne muy sabrosa y todas las verduras era abundante y muy agradable. En general, una gran tarde volveremos.

Went today for mother's day had a lovely home cooked lunch could not fault it at all.The staff were really nice did everything they could to make our visit special .My son Daughter in law Grandson had a really nice time thank you we will certainly be back really well done to you all.
