Very welcoming staff. Food was tasty hot and well presented. Good service and pace of serving food. The only downside for me is the toilet area which does need some TLC! Mouldy walls and the smell is not good when out for food

Had both sit down meals and assorted takeaways which were excellent and good value. Naz and staff very friendly and helpful.

Visited Oswestry and went here for a curr on the Saturday night. There was not a soul in the restaurant and the food was very poor. Chicken tikka starter which was greasy and the chicken tikkatasted like it had been microwaved The main courseof chicken garlic chilli just tasted likedry chicken tikka in a thick sauce with chilli powder in it. Probably the worst curry I have ever had. The garlic nans were however nice. Would not go there again.!

Had a wonderfull meal last night . Staff are very friendly . Served quickly . Everything was hot . Excellent as usual.

The restaurant was very busy with a large party in for a birthday celebration. The staff were very very busy but still took our order and brought our drinks fairly quickly given how busy they were. They also kept having a word so we knew we weren't being forgotten. The food was excellent and probably the best I've had for ages and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for fantastic food at a reasonable price.

Very nice, recommend it to everyone. The food was very nice and the staff were very nice as well. Waited a little bit longer than usual due to it being very busy and they gave us the second round of drinks free to compensate for it which was very nice as they didn't have to do that.

The food was very good with plenty of chicken in my jalfrezi. The only issue I have is that there was no yoghurt with the poppadoms

Very good food , but the restaurant was a bit cold with only one bar of a gas fire lit but nevertheless a good night enjoyed by all.

We visited here last night & what a truly great evening we had. Owner & staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. So friendly & helpful. Food was absolutely outstanding. All served lovely & hot. Will definitley visit again when in the area.

Will always judge Indian food by its bhajis and these were the best I’ve had. All round great food, Rezala was great too. Would recommend.

Very good restaurant serving lovely food, in very congenial surroundings. When we went a couple of months ago, they were very considerate of my personal needs. I cannot climb stairs due to an arthritic hip, so I had to phone in advance, to ask where the toilets were. I was told they were on the ground floor, so that was no problem. Upon realising that I walked with the aid of a stick, the owner asked my husband to just pull up outside the door, and he would help me out of the car, and take me into the dining area, whilst my husband parked the car. He gave us extensive information about the disabled parking spaces close to the restaurant. The service was second to none, and all the staff were alert to the customers needs. The food was exceptional, so we will be going there again.

Disappointed with the order tonight unfortunately. Stale poppadoms and cold naan bread. Chips were also cold and soggy.

This is the worst restaurant i have ever went. Waiter hasn’t took the order and asked you have to spend minimum of 20£ per person. We left right away. Avoid !!!!!

Top quality food, the massamun and tikka masala especially. Food has a premium feel to it compared to others in Oswestry. Highly recommend!

Super welcome, excellent, attentive service and delicious food. Particularly recommend the Cinnamon special which is medium hot with peppers, onions and tomatoes, light but so moreish. The rices were excellent too, we had chilli and garlic as well as an egg fried rice. The passanda was excellent too. Go...you'll be glad you did.

Excellent. I always have the same dish , Chicken Dansak. This was one of the best that I have ever eaten. I can't wait to go back.

Best Curry house in the area. Great service and the food is first class, couldn't fault it. A slightly different take on the usual run of the mill curries commonly served in this country, more of a gourmet take on it, lovely colourful food full of flavour. Naga Chilli curry highly recommended.

Another amazing meal with fantastic service and food

Superb meal. Meat samosas were packed full in lovely light, crisp pastry. The lamb in the curry was melt-in-the-mouth and the side orders were also delicious, good quality and well cooked. This will definitely be my new go to Indian restaurant in Oswestry.

Simply cannot fault this place. Maybe the best curry house in the UK ? Incredible freshly cooked food coupled with excellent service. A must visit.

Excellent food and service. Ended up going twice in two nights. Highly recommend the lamb biryani and the fish delux curry. Pretty much everything we had was delicious though. Decor was also really nice and the whole restaurant (including bathrooms) was really clean. If you’re looking for good Indian in Oswestry, I would recommend these guys.

Omg the head waiter is so so rude and very aggressive. I asked him why you so aggressive??? Mmm . food was awful could not eat it avoid this place like the plague they claim to have naga??? They use the same sauce for everything do not go..,

Our first visit to Cinnamon for my husband's birthday on a Weds evening and we weren't disappointed. A lovely warm welcome from friendly, attentive staff, a good menu and delicious food with substantial portions when it arrived. It was relatively quiet and we had a great chat with Sofik. We will definitely be back!

Delightful restaurant, friendly service with really massive meal portions. I had the lamb Rogan Josh, plus boiled rice and peshwari. Huge, huge tasty meal. Will definitely return.

We came from Birmingham and had lovely food at Perioz. Had a great experience with friendly staff and service. The food was delicious. We will definitely come back again.

A lovely restaurant situated on the high street for the village. The owners and staff were very friendly and welcome us all with open arms. Their hospitality was very kind and we all had a good conversation about the locality and village. The restaurant is very large with lots of space and tables to accommodate over 50+ people and was very modern and airy. Decor on wall reflected what type of food the restaurant was selling. Customer service was amazing. The menu was very straight forward and easy to follow. Most of us went for a 1/4 grilled chicken with different degree of heat option from super hot, mild, lemon & herb etc 2 sides option ranging from chips, creamy mash, spicy rice etc. The owner explained all orders very clearly and explained our options very well without rushing us. They had a good range of drinks. Drinks came very quickly all served chilled with ice. We didn’t have to wait too long our food and it arrived and looked very professionally presented, fresh, hot and very tasty. I made a error in my order but the staff immediately went and got the correct chicken leg I wanted without charging for it. Everyone in our group really enjoyed the food. The spice was perfect, the taste was excellent and the empty plates proves food was cooked to impress which it did, ‘compliments to the chef’. If your local please do pop in you will not be disappointment with service, food and cost. Food was great value for money. Thank you to all staff and the chef for a wonderful evening and we all look forward to visiting again soon when we come to visit Snowdon or the surrounding landscape!!

Oswestry doesn't have a Nando's - but it doesn't need one because Perioz is better. Chicken was really well cooked, staff were attentive and friendly, and good value for money. (Formerly Raj Mahal's)

Really keen to try some chicken with your hottest sauce (and then some..) but fairly irritated that the shop (via just eat/the official Perioz launch pad) is closed 11pm onwards, ON A FRIDAY ..when myself and multiple other passengers/customers arrive for (supposedly) real, grilled, African chicken after our shift.

Went when first opened I had chicken wrap 👎 I reckon there must of been about 30p worth of chicken not good , chip weren’t spicy & rice tasted like it was uncle bens 👎 won’t bother again unless I’ve eaten before I go

Had a chicken wrap meal, only about 50p worth of chicken to be found and it was over cooked and dry, also had cucumber which isn’t on the menu. Wrap was tiny for the cost, spicy rice was bland and not spicy, great corn on the cob though. Want a chicken wrap, go to a local kebab shop or Nando’s.

Food was amazing! Plenty of flavour and spice and food was well packaged and still warm when we got it home. The only thing I’d say, it was a bit of a pain having todo two stops just to get drinks. Be even better if they could be on the menu :D

Private and enjoyable meal - delicious and amply sized portions. Great menu, lots of tempting choices, I try something different every visit and have not yet been disappointed. Staff are discreet, polite and knowledgeable.

Friendly staff, peaceful relaxed atmosphere and one of the nicest Indian meals I've had anywhere. Will gladly visit again.

Great choice on the menu and every dish we had (and we were a group of 8!) was superb. Add to that the friendly helpful staff who even helped us out when let down by taxis, you would be missing out of you don't try it.

This was the worst meal we have had from here, chicken dansak tasteless, chips re heated discusting ....wont be returning

Very pleased to find this restaurant open for dining in. There was one gentleman serving numerous tables as the evening got busy but he was always very attentive and did a sterling job. The food was good.

Our first visit to the Raj Mahal restaurant tonight. It's a very nice newly opened restaurant. The food was very nice and it was lovely to see Zac who has moved across from the red rose restaurant. All the staff were very pleasant and friendly. A nice place to go for a meal . nice meal

We've just moved to Oswestry and this is the first time we've tried a takeaway from this restaurant. Our food tasted very fresh and tasty, the nan was lovely and the popadoms were nice and crispy. The only down side was that my husband had one tough piece of chicken which he couldn't eat. Apart from that, everything was very good, and we were given some free pakora and spicy onions. When I rang to order, the service was excellent and our takeaway was delivered very promptly. Since I wrote the above review, we've had a few more meals from Raj Mahal and have been very happy with both the food and the excellent service. We've tried all but one of the Indian food outlets in town and one out of town, but this one has been the best. 3rd June 2017 - We always enjoy our food from the Raj Mahal, but this particular meal was exceptionally good! Hence the up-to-date review. We both found our meals even more delicious than usual and thank you for that. Also, the service was impeccable as always and the delivery very quick. Well done and thanks all at the Raj Mahal!

Superb service, best Indian I've been to for a long time.

Lovely food and great family-run service. Recommend the Naga if you like a hot curry, but they will always do their best to accommodate your tastes. We have eaten here with two young children and it was also a very good experience, we didn't feel awkward or embarrassed. Some other restaurants in Oswestry have quite greasy curry with 'ghee' floating on the top but I don't find this here; Very digestible and tasty!!

Another 28 mile round trip to collect our takeaway. Haven't been disappointed yet, and I'm fussy!! Excellent all round

I have been here several times both with my wife and with the whole family. The food is excellent, the staff are friendly and efficient and the prices are very reasonable. What more is there to say? except I'm sure I'll be going again soon.
