This tea rooms is a diamond in the rough. Service is second to none, food is top quality. My wife and I both require a gluten free diet and we are well catered for here. Drinks are at a price well below all other places we have tried in Bridgnorth.

We thought it about time we reviewed the Bahar, having visited many times over the last 5 years and consistently really enjoyed every single visit. The environment is stylish and comfortable and we can often park outside on the street very close. A vast and varied menu has plenty of options to tempt you and caters for veggies very well. The food is always delicious but it is the friendly team of staff that make the Bahar so special...nothing is too much trouble and they always smile and go that extra mile to ensure you enjoy yourself. Well done Bahar, our favourite Indian restaurant !!! We'll see you again very soon, Chris and Jayne

We have been here many times and have always had great food and good service, however, today was different. We had a 1.30pm booking which we arrived on time for. The pub was mobbed which was great to see. This was my mums 4th anniversary of her passing and we had invited our daughter and family. Drinks order was taken and delivered and our food order was also taken and all was well. However, after waiting for 1 hour and 15 minutes and seeing people who hadn’t even arrived before us, tucking into their food, we asked where ours was, especially as we had our 3 year old granddaughter with us, who kept saying she was hungry. The waitress came up and said that the food order hadn’t printed and apologised, saying our drinks would be free and the food would be with us in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later it arrived and was lovely. I have to say, this experience did put me into a mood especially as 2 of us had fish and chips and our granddaughter had the chicken goujons and we asked for tomato ketchup, which was delivered in a ridiculously small quantity, which I really didn’t understand as it was for 3 people. Ok, I made my feelings clear by then, not rude but clear, however, the waitress was not impressed. When we eventually got our food, we were asked a number of times how our food was, yet not one of them noticed that we hadn’t received our food after well over an hour. I think the biggest issue was, they felt giving us our drinks free was all they needed to do. Whilst this was fair, not one person when we paid, came out and apologised about the very poor experience we had today. We didn’t go there to get free drinks but to have an enjoyable meal to mark my mums anniversary.

The Inn was a great place to stay as a base for our visit to Oldfield Forge. Garway is very remote & consists of little more than the Inn, a church, a village shop & a primary school, so check-in was quite late to coincide with village life opening hours. The Inn is a lovely combination of rustic & modern. We stayed in "Sun" which was really spacious, warm & comfortable, & felt like a mini apartment rather than just a room. The proprietors were welcoming & friendly hosts. Breakfast was good quality - being a city girl, I forgot that being a vegetarian is a dietary requirement & didn't notify ahead of time, so the full English was not so full. Evening meals were also good quality pub grub - there are veggie/vegan options on the menu, but choice is more limited than for omnivores. There isn't anywhere else to eat out in the village.

I have been going to this place for years . I had a takeaway last night . I ordered at 7pm . It was clearly last nights warmed up left overs . I rang and they know me - as I say I have been going for years and complained ( I don’t like doing it ) they said sorry about the quality and will hope next time is better ! Next time is better - there won’t be a next time - to say it’s gone down hill in service and quality is an understatement! Shocking !

we used to visit here before heard it was under new management and decided we would try a takeaway and I can honestly say it was awful and extremely expensive we had poppadom one main one side a rice and two naan a t a cost of £30 - I did wonder when my husband told me the price if the bill was calculated correctly and to top it all off the food was very disappointing oily and bland . i would certainly not recommend this establishment at all fir quality or value

Not the easiest place to find but well worth the effort. A proper pub, good local ales, excellent food at very reasonable prices and all in all convivial atmosphere , in a nutshell everything that a good pub should be. We look forward to returning soon.
