The best restaurants in Stratford-on-Avon West Midlands

I had one burger and one twister, and al I could taste in both was SALT AND MORE SALT, I will never go there again!.

Food ok, ordered hot chilli beef and there was zero beef just prawns, ordered mini spring rolls and got one spring roll.

We went for a PRE BOOKED birthday meal at midday on a Saturday. The restaurant was empty. The staff were still hoovering when we arrived and no one gave a warm welcome. The service was very slow with a young girl who had little to know knowledge of the menu. Key things were overlooked. When we mentioned how cold the place was there was no offer to turn the heating on. The food was very hot and very tasty. The chef is very talented. Portions were fine. The price was a little on the high side for the poor service.

Worst xmas party lunch ever. There were 33 of us for a Christmas lunch.Table set for a wedding.....no crackers on table, no cranberry sauce. Rolled turkey very dry and over cooked. No carrots only 2 undercooked sprouts and kale. Sweets mass produced with salad cress for decoration. Cold coffee. No milk jugs, milk served in a cup. Waited ages for tea then issued with an empty tea pot. Cant believe it and feel so sorry for the organiser of our party. We were given a deduction bit day was ruined.

Excelente ubicación - justo enfrente de la casa de Anne Hathaway. Café estaba casi vacío cuando llegué allí, pedí una moca y me sirvieron rápidamente (el personal era muy amable) . La decoración es bastante sosa, y los baños están fuera, y requieren un código para entrar, por lo tanto, derribar una estrella. Pero un buen lugar para tomar café si has visitado la casa.

I know it's only an M&S cafe but it was really good ! Delicious fresh baked scones, still warm & crumbly, good selection of sandwiches / light bites. It's small, but it's very comfortable & was air conditioned on a very hot day.

Ordered a delivery after about 1hr 30 mins still not arrived , then got a call from them asking why I haven’t picked my order up I said ordered on line for delivery, they then delivered and the meal was stone cold , avoid this place at all cost , terrible service

Came for my birthday meal, was great service and amazing food! Service with a smile and very attentive! Would recommend to family and friends and will definitely be back!

Parada para tomar unas copas, el personal era amable, educado y servicial. Gran ambiente y lugar agradable para estar por un tiempo volvería

Lovely pub, great food, friendly staff. Properly dog-friendly (unlike some places where you’re directed outside, or to a dingy corner,). 100% recommend and we will definitely be back.

Attended a wedding reception, lovely quirky space and great location. Downside buffet looked lovely, and expected the food to be warm as plenty of pizza and bao buns, but all cold. Top heavy with bbq sauce on literally everything. But the biggest no no for me was no food labelling and in this day of allergens there was allergen advice. With family members who have life threatening allergies was absolutely disgraceful.

Esto era anteriormente nuestro ir a la tienda de pescado y patatas fritas cuando visite Stratford. En nuestro último viaje, tanto mi esposa y yo pensamos que la comida no era tan buena como solía ser, sin embargo, dejamos esto a uno y visitamos de nuevo el fin de semana pasado. Lamentablemente, los niveles generales de alimentos parecen haber disminuido y han pasado de ser excelentes a ser difíciles de clasificar como promedio. El pescado estaba esponjoso y las patatas fritas mal cocidas.

Está situado en el Mercure Stratford Hotel. El restaurante está cerrado. La zona del bar restaurante es ahora el único bar del hotel y no tiene alma. Actualmente, la zona de asientos al aire libre no está bien cuidada y está mal mantenida

Awful service from the “cooks”, I would say chefs but that’s pushing it. Ordered tapas and when the calamari came it looked like it had been kicked around the kitchen. Way to over cooked, I literally bit into it and it was like silicone, I asked for another because it was over cooked and the “cook “ said no, ( I think they had been binge watching Gordon Ramsey) I was told that they cook it the same every time, that’s funny because I must have missed your cooking “skills “ in my previous visits. Then had to fight for half an hour for them to get the bill right and at first they said I couldn’t use my blue light card. Seriously shocking

We have been here 2 times this year including Valentines Day. Always great food and good service. The food is fresh and cooked to order with excellent tastes. Nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant is always busy, the staff work hard and no real waiting, just be realistic when busy. Will always keep going back here.!!!
