We were staying locally and decided to pop into this lovely wee café for a late lunch before going back to our accommodation. Cafés etc had just reopened so it was good to be able to support them. The two ladies who were running the café were very welcoming and our food was freshly prepared. It was delicious and well presented. The café also has small gifts/cards etc and I have to confess that I did buy some bits and pieces. Really lovely small eatery. Mind you, we could have done without the two fairly loud guys who were obviously holding a work meeting there. I really wasn’t interested in the ins and outs of their business but they were speaking so loudly that we couldn’t help but earwig in. Think about the other customers chaps. It’s not all about you. If you need to discuss business - do it in your office!

I went in today and it was a very pretty place, my chai latte was nice however I waited quite long for food and I think other people did too. My rocky road was really good though.
Visited Brooklands with my hubby while on holiday in the area. We had a Latte and a small tub of homemade ice cream… delicious.
There are tables with benches outside the ice cream “hut” so if it’s a nice day you can sit and chill.
Prices seem reasonable, £2.50 for coffee and £3 for a tub of ice cream. They do cones too and also sell large tubs of ice cream.
Worth popping in.

The kebabs is good!
Asked for large cod fish and it is indeed large! Tasty!
The chips has more flavour, good!
The pie I had (chicken and mushroom) was salty (the pastry) but the filling was good, hopefully next time will be better.
I will give a new update soon!
Keep it up 👍

Welcome back!
So far I have tried their burger, fish and chips
The burger I had was good and lovely.
The fish was ok but I'm not sure if the smell is supposed to be like that (unique smell) which is different than I had before.
The chips were good.
I will give a new update soon!
Keep it up 👍
I’m not vegan or veggie and I absolutely adore the classic burger, and my wife loves the chippy tea burger. It’s all about the onions, gherkins and sauce. Highly recommended.
My friend and I had the most amazing evening at Glou Glou tonight ! Amazing wine , food , ambiance and amazing service - the best espresso martini I’ve ever tasted to , oh and my doggie Tilly had the best time , thanks so much team Glou Glou xxx
Come here often, very friendly and helpful bar staff, regulars are lovely and very welcoming.
Reasonably priced drinks, and great deals on shots.
Highly recommend.
We were looking for somewhere a bit special for the night after Valentines Day. I'd recently requested a sample dinner menu from the Royalist menu which looked as though it would suit us nicely. I made an online booking and we therefore had no idea we'd be treated to the most amazing Valentine's tasting menu! The food was absolutely outstanding with exceptional presentation, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The staff were efficient and friendly and we had the most enjoyable evening. We'd thoroughly recommend the experience.
We had a birthday afternoon tea here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Being February and miserable weather, we had the place to ourselves but the staff had gone to a lot of effort - decorating the birthday girl's table with birthday confetti. Nice and cosy inside. The food was very good - nice selection of sandwiches - what I would call sensible fillings like cheese and chutney, ham and tomato, tuna mayo, and egg. Our only comment would be to include a few more of the tuna and egg ones as there were quite a few of the ham and tomato which for our group was the least popular flavour. A selection of four different cakes - carrot, victoria sponge, chocolate and a very good syrupy flapjack. Small pieces but we liked that as you could have a bit of everything without feeling like you were going to explode! Very fresh and tasty. Finally cream scones - and yay - proper clotted cream! My son has a lot of allergies so chose a baked potato off the main menu. The staff were very helpful at the booking stage sorting out his meal and he enjoyed it. Am sure it must be lovely in summer time with all the plants and being able to sit outside - will definitely come back again.
Warm, inviting and Friendly staff, they know how to do a proper roast dinner! Good atmosphere only thing it could do with in my opinion is a log fire. Would go back again

We visited this beautiful restaurant today, the food , service & atmosphere was top notch friendly customer service too! We had the sweetened mango lassi & the mango passionfruit mojitos 😍 one of the best mojitos I’ve ever had! Will surely visit soon again & recommend to all my fellow family/friends.

Thought we would try here as we've visited the others in the same vicinity. Have to say we were disappointed. The place was freezing, don't know if the heating had broken because there was one tiny fan on. The radiators were cold. The food was OK but I thought pricey for what it was. My husband had cottage pie, honestly in the smallest container possible, with peas and roast potatoes (frozen ones) and gravy. I had sausage egg and chips which was nice enough (cheap sausages) tea and coffee...was £23.
Service was great, the lady serving was very friendly. The toilets were cold, pokey and small cubicles.
Sorry to say we won't be returning but clearly a popular place for bikers and seems to have regulars.
