Food is very good and the staff are very friendly

Came here not expecting too much as a vegan, but was pleasantly surprised. I first asked about a veggie breakfast and of the sausages were vegan, the chef came out and explained cross contamination, which u like some vegans doesn’t bother as much, if we expected everyone to have separate everything then they would never be able to cater for vegans. None the less he made me a beautiful vegan breakfast. The sausages used are not my first choice, but the way he cooked them helped. I also took a slice of lemon cake too.

We live a few miles away and had friends up from Cambridgeshire who we usually go out for breakfast with when they visit. The cafe is well known locally and having never been there we didn't know what to expect but took the plunge. The cafe was pretty quiet when we walked in at around 10:30 am on Saturday morning, it certainly is bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside and has a strong biker's theme throughout the premises. We chose a table and worked out by the lack of menus on tables that ordering from the counter was expected. There is a reasonably broad menu displayed at the counter of full English breakfasts of various sizes, from the "A41 Breakfast" at £8.90 to the "Ultra Breakfast" at just over £16, along with breakfast sandwiches, packaged snacks, biscuits and cakes. We opted for four "A41" breakfasts, which offer one slice of bacon, a sausage, egg, mushrooms, a hash brown and beans, along with a round of toast. We asked for certain items to be swapped for others and the team were very accommodating. In addition, each breakfast comes with a big mug of tea or coffee that is made at the counter while you wait. Our breakfasts took a not unreasonable 15 minutes to arrive, served to the table and the quality was top notch for a roadside cafe. Our (clean) plates were collected and we were left free to finish up our mugs of tea at our own pace before saying thanks for a great breakfast experience on our way out. The only minor niggle was that the cafe could have been a little warmer but it was a cold morning and the rest of the experience was absolutely what you would expect of a bang on, quality roadside cafe. We would recommend Ma Bakers and will certainly be enjoying breakfast there again.

It's nothing to do with luxury. It is rather basic but very comfortable and welcoming. A warm and cheerful place.

Firm favourite for bikers all over. Always a good chat, a decent cuppa and something to eat here.

Only had a sandwich but it was fantastic, so were the staff who i presume were the owners. It was the first time i had been there and will definitely use this cafe when i am there again

Great place full English breakfast superb

Brilliant little stop off today. The cafe is bigger inside than it appears with plenty of seating. Food is brilliant, best in the area and reasonably priced too, if anything Dave and the team are undercharging for quality of food. Definitely worth a visit and will be back myself soon.

Excellent food and really helpful staff. Husband has been to Ma Baker’s for a meat free & gluten free Full English Breakfast the last two weekends. He said that the staff were really helpful and super careful about cross contamination.

We love this cafe, the food is really good, we love the breakfasts, highly recommended! They are so friendly and welcoming, and it has a great atmosphere, and it is very reasonably priced. There is an extensive menu of all the usual small cafe food, from cakes, pastries, sandwiches made to order, breakfasts and a variety of other meals available. Hot and cold drinks and they have non dairy options.

A super biker/ trucker cafe. Lots of traditional breakfast items as well as a well-stocked vitrine of cakes.

First time there and had a chip bap and a cuppa, really nice and can see why everybody is banging on about this place. But beware because they have cool t shirts, hats and other cool things for sale. I cant be the only one having the tune ma baker by Boney M going round and round in your heads, ok it's only then :)

Needed a cuppa on a long journey. We passed a few cafes along the way and liked the look of this place. It's a bikers cafe really but that didn't put us off. A bit dated inside but that was no problem. The tea and coffee were excellent as was the cake. Great customer service, staff engaging in conversation about our travels. Sat outside in the sunshine to watch the world go by. Recommended.

Nice biker atmosphere, staff are friendly and service was great. But food is mediocre and served on styrofoam trays. Toilet facilities are very poor.

Popular bikers cafe. Great stop off place.

A surprisingly large interior space with the addition of outdoor seating makes this ‘biker’ cafe a good place for a rest stop. The refreshments and facilities were perfectly acceptable and the owner was keen to make a lasting impression - which he did well. All good here.

Had a great bacon butty from Ma Bakers at Prees Heath on way back from Airport. . Lovely fresh bread and perfectly cooked thick back bacon - delicious. Don't even think of going to MacDonald's, go there instead and you will get a very friendly welcome.

Great little cafe, great value for money breakfast starting at around £7.00 including a cup of tea. Quick, friendly and clean. Stopped on the way via a coach trip to Rhyl and Llandudno.

Myself and our family got rained out on our bikes on the weekend and stopped here, we were blown away by the way the staff treated us! One of the men took our wet clothes and gave us hoodies to get warm, the food was lovely too! Thank you for your kindness, it was so lovely!

I am now a regular at Ma Bakers! After using midway truckstop for a while but getting fed up of the customer service and the poor quality of food I gave this place a try and now would not Look back. The owner of this place is polite and pleasant and engaging in conversation just the sort of person that enjoys he's role in customer service.. The place it's self is clean quirky and a pleasure to eat breakfast in. Not only that but its a bikers friendly place with lots of cool things on the walls! Now let's get down to the food, the food is always cooked perfectly and is good value for money whilst keeping quality high I have never been able to complain about anything I have had from here and I found it to be more competitive then the other places by it. If you have not eaten here yet then my question to you is why?? I will continue to be a customer here for a long time to come.

Averages fare, competitive pricing, plenty of seating outside, toilets are small but serviceable and clean, nice and cosy and biker focused. Might be the smallest of "the three" but don't overlook it.. certainly better than the over-hyped one at the had of the road!
