Visited Brooklands with my hubby while on holiday in the area. We had a Latte and a small tub of homemade ice cream… delicious. There are tables with benches outside the ice cream “hut” so if it’s a nice day you can sit and chill. Prices seem reasonable, £2.50 for coffee and £3 for a tub of ice cream. They do cones too and also sell large tubs of ice cream. Worth popping in.

Absolutely delicious ice cream, a hidden gem. Seek it out. They have such unusual and creative flavours, today I enjoyed their cardamon ice cream made with proper pods!

We were so lucky to have Brooklands farm on our doorstep recently whilst holidaying in the area. The small shop and car park are located right on the farm (sign posted on B5068) and you might glimpse the beautiful herd of Brown Swiss cows that play a big part in what makes the ice cream here so delicious! The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the care thats gone into making authentic flavours so you can enjoy a bit of Italy in the Shropshire countryside. The pasturised milk and locally made cheese cakes are also highly recommended, simply delicious. We wish Paul and the team all the success in their new venture, I think they are going to need a bigger car park soon!!

Great small restaurant with an interesting lunch menu. The food is described fined for sharing and 2 or 3 plates are recommended. I had Danish frikkedellar, my husband had pork belly. Both beautifully presented small lunch portions. The coffee was good, the service unobtrusive and the views from the outside terrace are also good. Not fast food, but stunnngly good food. Also. A good stop for coffee and cake, or Fika.

Tonight Tim brought us the Pork special in breadcrumbs with veg, a bacon and mushroom risotto ,bolognaise and piquant prawn starters with a delicious creamy rice pudding for afters. All were hot and delicious. What a treat to have a home delivery and be able to enjoy food without the washing up.Highly recommended if you live in or near Ludlow. Thanks to Chef Nick, the lovely Deborah and of course, Tim.

Ambers Pizza Co was one of the top recommendations for places to eat in Oswestry by our B&B host Michael at Nant Gloyw. The pizza's were superb, reasonably priced and the service quick and friendly. As well as traditional toppings they also had some unusual, but delicious alternatives. I had a Moroccan lamb merguez pizza, which had tomato, mozzarella, spiced lamb mince, red onions, fresh coriander, yoghurt with mint and pomegranate seeds. As well as pizza they had a range of other dishes which looked tempting, including some delicious sounding desserts.

Met up with friends for lunch and was not disappointed. The cafe was clean, and comfortable with a lovely cosy atmosphere. Food was delicious, and loads of vegan/vegetarian choices. A feast for both mouth and eyes! Would highly recommend to anyone.
