Milan lounge in Shropshire

Excellent food and great prices. We had a great evening out and all enjoyed our food. The table was slightly small and at one point a customer was talking with a staff member and playing load videos from their phone that was awfully loud and annoying. Overall a great night out with good food and friendly service. Just need to stay professional.

We booked yesterday for my birthday today, this was our first time visiting and we were really impressed with the quality/ standard of the food as well as the exceptional service from all staff. Extremely helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and have already recommended to family

First time had an amazing experience I would definitely recommend to anyone who would like to have a fine Indian meal. The flavours are still tingling my tongue and I cannot wait to return again. All the staff are so welcoming and polite.. made me and my family’s experience amazing also can’t forget to mention the interior and atmosphere is wonderful great for family and friends they also offer collections and delivery’s and once again if you want an amazing Indian I highly recommend checking this place out!!

They always make us very welcome, as a group of 8 we always find a table to celebrate borthdays. Highly recommended

This was our first visit here for my wifes' birthday with four friends. We were disappointed having had friends recommend it to us. It was busy which should not have been a problem given they knew what their bookings were. We waited some 40 minutes for our main order to be taken and even then had to ask for someone to do it. The food took far too long to arrive and saying the Kitchen is busy is not an acceptable excuse. When you know you are going to be busy plan accordingly. Starters were cold or luke warm and appeared to be thrown on the plate with any associated garnish plonked in the middle of the table. In my experience salad garnish is normally on the plate with your starters. The main was just OK. A lot of my chicken was tough!. How you make chicken tough must be a new culinary art. My nann bread masqueraded as a Pewshwari with an odd thin paste in the middle. Again, in my experience, this type of naan has allsorts in the middle, including coconut. We ordered a Cobra and ended up with some cloudy alternative! All in all, not a good first experience and as the saying goes - you get one chance to make a good first impression. There are many better Indian Restuarants out there so my advice is choose wisely to spend your hard earned cash.

Great night at Milan Lounge. We were celebrating a birthday so there were 8 guests. We decided to go with their 4 course promotion. We didn't know about this until we arrived. The service was amazing and the food was exceptional which is always a bonus when it's a large group. We will definitely return! Thank you!

Top tier attentiveness without being overbearing, and staff were both friendly and happy to share a joke; the food is indescribably good. Absolutely worth the journey and very pleasant. Sal was a legend and an all round great bloke, lovely to talk to and helped us throughout the evening.

This was only my second visit here, my first being about 3 weeks ago when attending with my work colleagues, to which I told my wife how fabulous the restaurant was, she wanted to try the food here herself, we booked for her birthday which was today. We were welcomed by Raj and his team as if we were long time regulars. He gave us our choice of seating, was attentive to ensure that we had the best experience. The service was at a very well balanced pace, popadoms and mixed relishes and pickles came after our drinks, we were allowed to settle in first before taking orders for starters. These arrived as seen in the pics, an absolute treat and a delight. It wasn't until we finished the starters that our order for mains was taken, unlike some Indian restaurants where the mains are brought out as soon as the starters are cleared. Raj and his team looked after myself and my wife extremely well, nothing was too much trouble. The mains were piping hot, so were the plates and dishes. To top off a wonderful evening, my wife was presented with an individual birthday cake/ice cream dessert complete with a candle, as they played a happy birthday song through the sound system. We are now booked in for their Christmas Day lunch which we know will be an absolute treat Thank you for making my wife's birthday special

We usually have take away but decided to pop in. We were greeted and seated straight away. The food was delicious, all the right spices! We were looked after by Sal and nothing was too much trouble. We can’t wait to come back again. Lovely friendly team of staff and top notch food

My family and I have been customers at Milan Lounge for several years and would never use anywhere else! The food quality is always of the highest standard and the staff, Raj, Sal etc, are friendly, accommodating and nothing is ever too much! We always recommend Milan Lounge to everyone we know!!☺️

Eating in, lovely can't fault it, however delivery is why they only get a 3. Ordered a butter chicken with rice. Turned up, rice was cold, and watery. Food had absolutely no taste at all and was so runny. Love eating in here but would strongly recommend against getting takeout from here unfortunately. Update: A member of staff called me later and apologised for the standard of the food and offered me a refund or something money if my next meal with them. Can't fault the staff here, they are 10/10

I used to eat at Milan Lounge regularly but moved away 4 years ago. I am back in town and and visited for an evening meal this week. I am glad to say all is as it was when i last went. The food is amazing. Best Indian not only in Shropshire, but easily the best i have ever had. Such a great atmosphere with happy staff that always make you feel welcome. The owner Raj, always takes time to speak to his customers and can't do enough for you. I highly recommend Milan Lounge. If you come here once, you will neve go anywhere else. If i could give this 10* I would.
