This is a lovely little cafe serving excellent, freshly made food, with most of it made on the premises, even including the burger buns. It may be a vegan menu, but there is an excellent range of food on offer, and all very tasty. It's a small cafe and the seating may not to be everyone's taste - the low tables and cushions are perhaps not designed to encourage an older clientele, although there are other tables available. Having said that, as one of the older clientele mentioned, we will certainly be going back to try out more of the options available

Hadn’t tried the kimchi until recently and was so impressed, will be buying this instead of my usual brand all the time moving forward

Freshly prepared vegan menu, fast service delicious food. Small, quirky dining with cosy atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Really delicious and thoughtful vegan food, a great, relaxed atmosphere with a minimalist feel, and, best of all, great prices and value for money. My favourite place in Shrewsbury.

The best burgers and noodles bowls ever! Really lovely fresh and tasty ingredients. My absolute favourite place to go. Well priced too. Taken plenty of non-vegan friends who rate it highly, honestly a must go to for lunch.

Been here a few times and each time it wows me! The burgers have so much flavour and the wedges are always piping hot with a delicious homemade mayo on the side. The drinks are lovely and reasonably priced, can recommend the sunshine, matcha and chai lattes, all hit the spot! The staff are really friendly too and provide quick service. It just has such a nice chilled vibe.

Brill vegan food, so filling and lovely to know all the ingredients used are well sourced. Would recommend the katsu noodles !!

Stumbled upon this place on a recent visit to Shrewsbury and was extremely impressed. The place is small but very inviting, there’s very little seating but we were lucky enough to grab a window seat with comfy, cushion seating. The atmosphere is light and full of great cookbooks to have a look through. We tried a Mexican bowl and a burger and both were delicious and fast to arrive. Super affordable and very friendly service. Not overpriced or pretentious like many vegan places! Looking forward to visiting here again next time I’m in the area!

We popped in for lunch and were impressed by the smooth and super fast operation here. Various burgers, noodle bowls and burritos to choose from. Service is fast-food style but the food is excellent. I had the Korean burger, which was a battered tofu burger with various toppings and a slightly spiced sauce. Not hot, just warming. It was delicious. My partner had a burrito, which was filling and full of darker flavours. The place was buzzing with non stop chatter from a non stop stream of customers, with as many taking away as eating in. Lovely little place, well worth a stop and ideal if you're short on time.

Had a couple of mains and sides from the (relatively) small menu. Everything was excellent! Staff were great and its dog friendly! Looking forward to going back and trying more dishes.

Okra is probably my favourite street food anywhere! Lovely service, and a great menu with excellent food. Have been many times both eating in and taking away. The smoky aubergine ramen is to die for, the burritos are packed with deliciousness and we love the polenta fries and mayo. Thank you Vicky and John!

Game changing food . You clever clever people , the soft bread with the perfect chew , the fresh dacon radish , the perfectly cooked tofu texture , the unami mushroom hit at the bottom , and then a wasabi mouth swipe at the end...

Food was bang on!! Just wished the restaurant would take card payment so I could order directly with them rather than through Just Eat

This was an awful meal. Chicken korma was pink, chewy and tasteless. The rice was sitting in water and was over cooked. The orka starter was swimming in red grease and the food tasted of grease. Popadums were stale, overall was quite a disgusting meal that ended up in the bin The delivery driver was a friendly and professional chap, that's the only positive I've got

The man delivering came along with a big smile, and didn't mind a bit when my dogs got past me, he gave them a quick tickle and he was on his way. I am sorry my dogs got past me and in future, I shall have to shut them away properly. The food was so tasty, I ate things I haven't done before thanks to ordering a set meal, my husband and I both said that ordering that way we got flavours that you guys know go together and taste delicious. I had a cup of ginger tea with mine. perfect! will be ordering again.

Always good food great service

Everything was just right. Absolutely beautiful Muktaj dish. It was full of flavour and the restaurant even sent some wonderful free onion bhajis which were delicious with the mint sauce.

Just pipped in to Okra is Shrewsbury. Brilliant food and atmosphere. For a plantbased establishment it was really busy which is a recommendation in itself. We will be back

Always good here. The chicken tikka starter is excellent. I’ll probably have it as a main next time. Lamb tikka is nice - some bits soft, some chewy bits. Biryani was lovely. Got a free side dish too which is why we keep coming back.

Was not very well at all when it arrived. I never got a notification to say that my food was on its way. Didn’t eat in the restaurant so can no comment

Excellent starter with salad and yoghurt dressing. The chicken main course was new to me and had the right amount of heat, flavour and freshly prepared veg. Goes really well with a naan.

We always order from here and usually it’s lovely. Today unfortunately two things were forgotten from our order and the chicken in both our meals was so over cooked/dry it was inedible!

Okra is a great asset to Shrewsbury with super tasty food, that's freshly prepared and reasonably priced! Had the delicious Tikka Tempeh wrap and mango, orange & ginger smoothie. I (vegetarian) visited with with three carnivores and everybody was happy with the menu and enjoyed...

Awful food, oil everywhere all over packaging. Discusting undercooked chips, burned naan bread. I used this place many many times, they know my address. I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN.

Another beautiful meal! The Special Starter is almost a main in itself and with the 'free' poppadoms and chutneys fill a big hole. I feel confident with the authenticity and flavours of Okra to try other dishes and was not disappointed with the Murgh Mossalam. The textures and flavours were certainly enjoyable and not like other establishments where whatever you order is s variation on a base theme! I had requested no 'free' Onion Bhajis as it is just too much onion for me, so they included Bombay Potato which was delicious. Consistently good food, portion control and delivery. I recommend 100%

I actually received this order fine but upon ordering again (2nd April), waiting 2 hours, chased restaurant twice to be told it's still not out for delivery I told them to cancel the order. The restaurant cancelled with the reason that the driver could not find the address! Which results in being unable to leave a review....
