The best cooked breakfast in town, and really delicious home made cakes and coffee with plenty of plantbased options. The choc brownies/ Tiffin are a must 😋Quirky surroundings, lovely staff and truly funky, varied background music.

One of the best Vegan restaurants, small menu but the quality is amazing. Specially Bean burger was the show stopper. Highly recommended for all vegans and vegetarians.

Great, imaginative food and welcoming staff. Even omnivores will love this restaurant. The outdoor seating area is very pleasant (and dog-friendy). Easy to park nearby. We will definitely go again.

Stumbled across this lovely little cafe whilst looking round the town. Both members of staff (possibly the owners) were very friendly and welcoming. The coffee was good as was the vegan sausage sandwich.

I've been into the Fat Rabbit twice now, once for coffee and cake, and again today for lunch. Both times it has been great, I have a lot of dietary requirements as does my dad, and we had no trouble finding plenty to eat. Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing service with very knowledgeable staff! It's so nice to have a vegan place in Oswestry.

Loved my first visit. Great choice of foods/drinks. Friendly staff who made us welcome( me and 2 dogs). I had pancakes then a wonderful "not avo" dish made from artichoke...so delicious ( I got the recipe!)

Visited here on a Friday in September. My partner had breakfast, which he enjoyed. I had a coffee and a great chat with the owner about the area, food etc, as we were visiting. I also took a couple of cakes for a take away. The menu was all plant based and so great not to have to check everything but to eat at a like minded place. Great place to visit.

Chose this restaurant as it was dog friendly and vegan. I had the Yasai Gyoza which was absolutely delicious. My partner had the 3 bean Mexican chilli which was superb. Great coffee as well. Definitely recommend.

Was only a quick visit but we loved the looks of the coffee shop and the matcha latte was very tasty! Will definitely visit again for a longer stay and a meal.

Nice place for brunch and lunch and all vegan which is rare in these parts. Coffee is good but not the best in Oswestry but the food options on offer are very good. Good sized menu.

Yummy scrummy! Took stroppy teenager in there who 'didn't want anything'. Came out with lunch and two cakes. She loved it. The person taking the order was really patient and helpful. Five stars from us 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

One of the best plant based cafes we have ever enjoyed. The bitter wind and rain we endured outside was forgotten the moment our drinks were served, quickly followed by their all day plant based breakfasts, presented beautifully. The black pudding has to be tried to be believed. Can’t recommend it highly enough, it would almost certainly impress those who usually choose to be carnivores! Mr and Mrs Heathen Fox

Passed through Oswestry on Thursday so stopped by this eatery, until eariler this week had no idea the Fat Rabbit existed - I'm very happy to discover another vegan joint in Shropshire/Wales! I love the name and interiors are quirky and cosy. I had the All Day Breakfast, the vegan black pudding in this dish was especially tasty. Would certainly try again and have recommended to my family. A heads up though the menu displayed online on their website/socials is different to what is availble in the cafe, both in price and itemisation. But all in all lovely little place.

We ordered 3 smoothies and after waiting 45 mins asked for a refund, they’d not even started making them.

Have been several times here over the years, always a good experience. Quirky little place, friendly staff and good location in centre of town. Menu is small, but has a decent vatiety to pick from. Very reasonably priced, and good quality food. Try the Elvis shake.

We enjoyed a Gr8 full Vegan breakfast, followed by their delicious fruit pancakes... excellent,.. & the Secret Garden was green, cool, tranquil & beautiful... We watched a pigeon carry sticks to build up a nest around his mate, who was busy sitting on their eggs.

What a wonderful place! We stopped there on the way back from holiday, such a shame we do not live closer. A lovely atmosphere, amazing customer service, so friendly feel to the place and most importantly food very very tasty! Our boys had two servings of non dogs and pancakes and absolutely loved both dishes! Thank you.

I visited the Fat Rabbit on my way home from wild camping in snowdonia, it was certainly worth the slight detour. We were a party of 6 and arrived late on a Sunday, the staff put no pressure on us to eat up or leave before we was ready; they stayed open late to accommodate us. The food was delicious and reasonably priced; the staff were welcoming and accommodating; the establishment is quaint beautifully decorated with various pieces of art. The Fat Rabbit made for the perfect place to celebrate with friends - I would most definitely visit again.

If your looking for Gluten free and vegetarian its ideal. Staff were really helpful and friendly. You can sit inside or out. It's a pedestrian street so no cars to spoil your meal. I had the burger and a beetroot latte. The burger was plant based and very tasty. The latte was nice a little spicy and served warm. I finished off with pancakes and vegan ice cream which was delicious. There was a bit of a wait but was well worth it. Parking nearby was £1 for 2 hours

Wow!!!! Firstly the people are lovely and professional they catered for a large group of us going out their way to ensure we were looked after!!! The food, was amazing they have a great range, it came out fast and tasted fresh and sooo good highly recommend!!

We made a special stop in Oswestry for the Fat Rabbit and were not disappointed. The pancakes were a big hit with our party, so we had to make a second visit two days later. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, cleanliness was excellent. All covid measures were in place as expected. The food is delicious but on this occasion only had an iced coffee and a cake. Would recommend if you are local or just visiting Oswestry - especially if you are Vegan!

On our drive from Yorkshire to Wales we stopped off to break up the journey, have a walk to stretch our legs and get a little something to eat and drink. Our first choice - The Courtyard Tearoom - had become a victim to Covid...

OK we attended this cafe 15/06/2021 at 10.52 am. My first concern was I had to chase a member of staff up to come and wipe the table and chairs down, before we could sit down, as per Covid rules. However, the woman who came to do it, had to be prompted to wipe the arms of the chairs as she wasn't going to do it. She just used what looked like a dish cloth but no disinfectant spray? I then went and ordered a ripple shake and a latte, £4.50 & £3.20, which I feel is exceptionally expensive for what came out to us. The drinks were brought to the table, the latte arrived in a small cup with no saucer, no spoon, no sugar. The ripple shake arrived in a small, handled jam jar glass. There were no napkins or anything else. The ripple shake had spray cream on top and quite frankly was mediocre in taste. The latte was poor, and nothing special considering its price tag here. Summary, poor cleanliness regime, overpriced, compounded by poor quality products. Not somewhere I would recommend.

Excellent service with a smile, brilliant vegan food and that is coming from a carnivore. We have returned on numerous occasions and love the place. Fortunately they appear to have survived the strains of Covid and we are happily back chomping on their delightful nosh
