We were staying locally and decided to pop into this lovely wee café for a late lunch before going back to our accommodation. Cafés etc had just reopened so it was good to be able to support them. The two ladies who were running the café were very welcoming and our food was freshly prepared. It was delicious and well presented. The café also has small gifts/cards etc and I have to confess that I did buy some bits and pieces. Really lovely small eatery. Mind you, we could have done without the two fairly loud guys who were obviously holding a work meeting there. I really wasn’t interested in the ins and outs of their business but they were speaking so loudly that we couldn’t help but earwig in. Think about the other customers chaps. It’s not all about you. If you need to discuss business - do it in your office!

I visited this cafe whilst riding my bike around Shropshire. I planned to leave my bike outside the cafe but a friendly staff member asked me if I would like to put it safe in their courtyard. The atmosphere in the cafe is lovely and friendly. I had a ham and cheese panini which is lovely and comes with salad, coleslaw and crisps. I also had a capucinno which again was lovely nice and strong and definitely needed after 65 miles on the bike. If you are in Wem then you should definitely visit this cafe food is fantastic and atmosphere is lovely.

We stopped in Wen and wanted a cup of tea, walking along the main street we saw the Nest a small and inviting café. The owner was pleasant and welcoming and we enjoyed a drink and excellent scones with the jam served in a small pot and a generous portion of cream. The atmosphere and the décor were pleasant and the service excellent. we shall be back.

I visited 'The Nest' on Saturday 12th September with two friends having cycled 109 km from Tamworth in Staffordshire. Suffice it to say that we were a bit tired and very hungry! We received a warm welcome from the staff there. The menu provided us with a good selection of food that would help us refuel for the rest of our journey. We opted for baked potato's with various fillings. They were excellently prepared and presented and did the trick. We followed this with 'Jaffa Cake' cake and two pots of tea. The whole experience was tremendous and we really appreciated the friendliness of the staff and the excellent food they served us. Definitely going there again!

We visited The Nest today, neatly adjoining The Soulbird Gallery. A lovely restful cafe, artistically and tastefully decorated, creating a relaxed and interesting environment. The owner and assistant were very warm, welcoming, friendly and professional. The cafe offers lovely meals, various cakes and scones, coffees and teas at very reasonable prices. You could include browsing the Soulbird Gallery in the next room when you visit here! A great place to chill out, and enjoy some excellent food and drinks!

Called in today for a nice lunch, but very dark and uninviting, could it be closed ? Once we were inside we were informed that only coffee was available, no food whatsoever. Having looked at Facebook

First up ample parking on adjacent fields. Hard to believe this garden is less than 40 years old. Formal design with separate gardens flanked by yew hedges. Water features in classic style plenty phot
