First visit since refurb , looks good ! pint of red stripe lager (flat as ) took it back .. second one flat as . The pate was nice but not enough toast no butter no salad 🥗🥗 and marmalade (chutney pls) . Main course steak and ale pie perfectly cooked and all piping hot

Was driving past took a chance and three of us went in Two had stake one has chilli chicken wrap all dishes where absolutely banging will be going again 😋

We love this place.... Best takeaway in Burntwood... Esp on Wednesday when they do Any starter, main and Naan for £11.95!!!!! And a Monday,But even without the offer, would still eat here.... As so reasonable Love going into the restaurant also... Food is consistently tasty and staff are great esp Aka!!!!!!!!!!😊 Been using this Indian for at least 15years. Went yesterday 4 of us led us straight to our table pleasant staff lovely meal bit of a hiccup with one of the starters but soon rectified pleasantly, food delicious will definitely be going back 😋

Decent food, wonderful staff, quick service

Visited for Sunday lunch booked in advance and had to pay £10 p/p deposit, restaurant was busy and staff coping exceptionally well. Everything explained in detail by our excellent server. Now the food, quite honestly the Sunday lunch carvery consisted of Turkey or Beef, this was supported by stuffing, last weeks roast potatoes (teeth breakers) a Yorkshire pudding dripping in oil, mash and some tinned peas/ beans. Have to say probably the worst carvery we have ever visited, however, the sweet was good and the staff were superb. Would we return, sad to say no even though this the best up kept three star hotel I’ve ever witnessed.

Cosy and quirky pub. Really enjoyed it for a quiet late night drink with enough people in to be lively but still enough personal space to be relaxing .

It was really busy tonight both with takeaway orders and people dining in the restaurant. The service was slower because of this and some people were not happy. We could see that the staff were working hard and were in no hurry so didn't mind. When the food arrived it was excellent, sometimes the quality can suffer at busy times but it didn't tonight. Well done to all concerned on a very challenging evening.

It’s a Costa. Fair price for a decent coffee. The actual seating area might as well be any Open Office anywhere. Apart from us, everyone was either in a business meeting (face to face or on live) or working on a laptop.

disappointed to see that takeaway prices are more expensive than eating in.......Belal's Special Jalfrizi is £12.95 eat inland £14.25 delivered on top of handling and delivery charge... won't be ordering takeaway again from here. Shame as we are regular visitors to the restaurant.

The new interior has really improved the pub ,Good beer ,Good atmosphere , Good staff very helpful ,Great place to spend a few hours in the summer sitting by the river

Five star food. Five star service. Absolutely delicious.

Ordered a Nepalese lamb curry(which says highly recommended) and was a disaster.No taste nor any salt. Some lamb pieces mixed in a sauce. We also ordered Indian lamb curry which again was a disaster as the lamb pieces were mixed in a tomato puree. Just a disappointment as we went with high expectations after reading the reviews.
