Cosy and quirky pub. Really enjoyed it for a quiet late night drink with enough people in to be lively but still enough personal space to be relaxing .

Listed 2 for £10.50 on cocktails on website, but they don't serve cocktails

Visiting Lichfield & popped in here by chance because Weatherspoons was rammed. What a pleasant little pub. Great place to enjoy a few quite pints without the chaos of 'Spoons'!

Live music on a Saturday night! For free! 😂 It was really busy but you still didn't have to wait at the bar - god knows how they do it! 👍 The band was called "Two Reasons" - acoustic covers band. Ace! Top quality bar service as well. Def going back. Fabulous night! Ta❣️

The bar staff are very kind. The wine selection isn’t the best. Prices are very reasonable. We sat outside, the garden is ok, but needs attention in the gardening department. Not that the pub can control this, but the clientele wasn’t particularly pleasant. The live music wasn’t too great, and no one else was appreciating it, but maybe we went at the wrong time

We visited Lichfield over Christmas. This pub didn't have much of a selection of ales but the atmosphere was brilliant. We'd been sat down in armchairs when someone started playing the piano. Everyone in the pub joined in to sing along with Fairytale of New York

i came in for drinks on monday morning and spoke with a bartender called olly, he’s an absolute credit to the pub! very welcoming and nice he made my day!!!!

One of the best pubs i’ve been to in a while! The drinks were great, and the service felt both fast and accommodating. I really enjoyed both the atmosphere, and my evening here, and i will definitely be coming back again. Great pub, Great people, and even better drinks! Keep it up!

The BEST pub in Lichfield. Very friendly staff and clientele. Can always pop in and have a chat with whoever is there. Good selection of beers and a huge selection of flavoured gins. Live music at the weekends. What's bot to like? In fact, I call it The Centre of the Universe.

My Spritit/Mixer drink was made exactly to my taste! The bar staff asked what size glass I wanted and how much mixer. There aren't many places which do that nowadays! The bar staff are nice and helpful!

If you are new to Lichfield you will find this small cosy pub one of the friendliest in town. It’s a place where you can be comfortable sitting reading or having a pint with friendly locals you’ve only just met. A great live music venue too. Susie and her team work hard to please.

I've spent many lovely afternoons and evenings in the Earl since moving to Lichfield almost 8 years ago. The landlady is always pleasant and kind, staff are super helpful and the drink selection is well varied, with clean lines and good service. Music is put on frequently and usually well attended. Great little pub with friendly locals and good conversation. Keep up the good work guys!

Excellent pub, well run with fine ales and a friendly welcome guaranteed. Been using this pub for years and it’s my first choice for a pint in Lichfield. Particularly enjoy it when there’s live music playing.

Absolutely shocking pub, lady behind the bar messed up the order by putting my drinks on someone else’s bill, it was then apparent why.. as she was drinking behind the bar and serving alcohol behind the bar which may I add is illegal. I point this out to her and she ignored me. Pubs gone down hill over the years what an absolute shame that’s all I can say

Been here a few times now, been great each time. A small but friendly pub. Not much space but never been in when it's been overly crowded. Staff are friendly and attentive.

The Earl of Lichfield is one of my favourite pubs in the world. A very warm and inviting atmosphere that you can spend ages in and feel completely at home. Some of my favourite memories made here and the staff are absolutely fantastic! Great live music and an even better selection of drinks. Thanks again, will be returning for the rest of time.

This is my favourite pub in the whole world. Travelled all the way to this fine establishment from Australia after hearing so many good things. Terrific beers and even better people. Very very good!

This spot is a great local pub, so inclusive and always meeting new people there. Suzie is wonderful. Chatted to Aaron behind the bar too who was lovely. Great live music and variety of drink options!

This pub is known locally as "The Drum" . Only popped in for a drink really good, friendly bar staff and landlady. Pub is in the market place area of the city. Very fond of music in this bar which is also dog friendly - laid back feeling to the place - loved it !

Great “proper” pub in the heart of Lichfield that ticks all the boxes. The staff are really welcoming and the place has such a friendly vibe. Fantastic range of well-kept ales, beers & ciders plus a rainbow of gins & vodkas. Live music is a regular feature. There’s a great courtyard area at the rear which is partially covered. The quirky, colourful decor only adds to the charm of the place. Love it.

Easily the friendliest and most welcoming pub in Lichfield! Every time I go in I end up talking to someone completely new and it has such a good blend of people. The drinks are very reasonably priced and the staff are always friendly and ready...

Went in there on Sat 18 Feb. With the wife. I went up the steps to the bar corner. The barmaid was serving at the long end. She walked towards me but only to serve a regular that was walking up to the bar behind me. She then went back serving regulars at the long end. After 10 mins we walked out. Should be first come first served. I was invisible!

Nice little pub on the corner of the square. Nice pint of Pedigree and live music on Sunday afternoon, will look forward to coming back 👍🏻

Have started coming here again after an absence of many years. We like the decor and feel of the place but most of all, the Pedigree is consistently very good.

Such a lovely atmosphere and great bar staff, had lovely chat with the young chap, i am new to the area so it was very nice to have such a warm welcome to the pub and I'm looking forward to coming back again. I can't remember for the life of me his name. But will ask new time highly suggest this pub to anyone visiting lichfy

Normally great pub let down on my last visit, with six quaffers, by a couldn't care less barman.

The drum is the "looker" amongst all the others, well in my opinion anyway
