Lovely chocolate melts/hot chocolates, great choice of flavours, white, milk and dark! Great menu and the staff here are so friendly and lovely. The waitress sat us down and explained all the menu and ordering process which was great. Will definitely be back and would like to try the breakfast!

A large group of around 30 of us came here for afternoon tea to celebrate a baby shower. It was a lovely little cafe with super friendly staff! The food was incredible, and we had plenty of it! The only reason why it's not a 5 star is because they did not have enough staff to cater to both our group and the normal saturday customers. The staff apologised profusely and explained that they'd had someone call in sick. Service was a little bit slow and we had to wait a while for tea and coffee, but as we knew the situation, we knew that it was not their fault. Would definitely return to this place, but never again as a large group!

This was my first visit here, the interior is very spacious. There is also a lovely outdoor seating area too. The staff were all pleasant and friendly.

A wonderful hidden gem. On the day we visited it was very busy. Pumpkin time and a craft fair outside. The staff are all very nice and attentive. The food is rather good with a nice and clean display. We will definitely visit again.

First time ever visiting this place and it was perfect! Such beautiful scenery, amazing customer service and the food was divine! I had a full english breakfast and to top it off afterwards the white choco hot chocolate, which was a dream!!! me and my family will be back very soon :)

Visited this morning and the staff are brilliant, super polite and incredibly helpful. I had some changes to my breakfast order, all of which were fine and the staff were very accommodating. The food quality is good, the presentation of the food needs a little work, our plates come out swimming in beans, the toast was covered in beans so super soggy which spoilt everything else on the plate unfortunately.

Great food - we opted for Pumpkin Soup; which was excellent. Prawn cocktail on sourdough with salad and a bacon & Brie toasted ciabatta. Excellent service with friendly staff Highly recommended

I have visited here for breakfast 3 times and have always enjoyed the food. Last Sunday we went for lunch and it will be my last visit. Service : the girl behind the counter didn't have a clue as to what she was doing hence it took ages to take my order which she still got wrong Food: my wife and daughter had the Sunday roast. The quality of the food was poor and the roast pork waa tough. Portions are small and for the price it's not good value. I wouldn't recommend

I've visited strawberry cabin many times and I keep going back because the food is tasty, good portion sizes,and good value. There's nice views over the strawberry Fields, and there's also artwork throughout the restaurant.

Four of us went for breakfast and our bill came to approx. £50. A grande breakfast cost £12.50 and came with one egg and any drink was payable separately. The food was okay but not brilliant. In our opinion the food is quite expensive, eg a scone cost £4.25. We concluded that was why the cafe was almost empty on a Sunday morning. Also a large part of the cafe dining area was sectioned off, this being the nicest part. We will look for better value in future. Finally, the staff were very pleasant, no issues there.

Waiting at the customer service desk with my cousins whilst the lady at the counter who was nice but ridiculously slow takes an age to take my order. I am kept waiting right until the end to take my order and then get told that I can no longer order breakfast as it’s gone past the last order time (because the service was so slow). So my whole extended family of like 12 people all have breakfast and I am left with a smoothie as I was made to wait. Can’t order much from the lunch menu as it mostly not suitable for a Muslim. Really disappointing and completely ruined the end to a decent day.

We went for breakfast for Father’s Day, the woman (I didn’t get her name) who was serving behind the counter had terrible customer service, was slamming fridges shut in a mood and had a horrible attitude from the get go, I understand the weather was muggy and they were probably in a rush, but that should never be taken out in customers! Waited 50 minutes for our breakfast, to then have my 5 year old daughters breakfast served with EGG SHELL in it. For a £46 breakfast, I don’t expect my daughter to have half of the egg shell in her breakfast. A woman came out to serve me my Eggs Royale without the poached eggs, to then hear a staff member say wait we haven’t finished with that one, I then had it served and the eggs were cold. Upon complaining we were offered 1 free drink, rather than refunded for an outrageous service. Won’t be going again.

A lovely lunchtime in the sun with wonderful food and service.

One of the best places to ho for a drink with friends or for little bite to eat and mainly the strawberries are the best. I would highly recommend to go with the family and the cafe allows dog owners to sit in the dig area and eat 10/10

We have eaten here many times and always enjoyed our meals,the omelettes are superb with the choice of 3 of 12 fillings. The staff are really friendly and efficient and keep everything very clean. It is set in lovely countryside with a children's play area on site and pick your own fruits, when in season. the large car park is on plastic reinforced gravel which does not get muddy and free unlike town centre ones.

A fantastic place with really friendly staff. Really chuffed I discovered this gem. My kids loved their pancakes and my breakfast was beautiful. We will definitely be returning. Looking forward to picking some strawberries and having dinner. 🍓 🥞🍔

We had a very pleasant lunch here today with friends. The food was first class as was the service. We will definitely return again.

Not very accommodating / dog friendly. It’s a shame as we’ve been there a number of times before and the staff are lovely - really friendly. However, on this occasion we brought our dog and they only allow them outside on the patio area. It was dead inside (only a handful of tables) and we had a party of 6 so they just lost a load of customers for not being flexible. Our dog is an old Labrador and would have happily sat under the table outside out the way. There’s plenty of space inside for us to have tucked in the corner out the way. It was cold and windy outside so we didn’t want to eat on the patio, understandably so we left to find a dog friendly restaurant.

Only been a couple of times on a Sunday for lunch including mothers day and have to say on both occasions food was excellent. Easily the best Sunday lunch weve ever eaten out. My son in law who doesn't really like roasts and is hard to please loved it .The chef does an amazing lunch the meat roasties and the fresh vegetables are all beautiful .We all said the carrots were gorgeous and wanted more.finished with sticky toffee pudding and was spot on

Took my Mom here for Mother's Day dinner. It was lovely the food was delicious it was like a home cooked meal fresh vegetables and the meat was cooked perfectly , the service was excellent. It was a relaxed friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back.

This is under same management with same menu as the Farmhouse at Mitchell Centre in Roughley. Excellent food. Very friendly service. Lovely setting on strawberry picking facility.

We just popped in for a tea/coffee. Lovely spot and really friendly staff. Sat outside as we had the dog with us, great view though. Recommended, will be back. Update, popped back following week and had a bacon and egg bap. Bacon was top quality and plentiful and the brace of poached eggs were done to perfection.

Just went for coffee and catch with my sister we had a cream tea and cappuccino absolutely gorgeous the staff were very friendly and chatty which was great would highly recommend to anyone great menu something for everyone.

Lovely little eaterie. Clean and nice atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive staff. Service was quick and nothing too much trouble for the helpful staff. Good selection of food options, vegan and vegetarian options also available. Had full English breakfast, £12, food was yummy, sausages in particular were exceptional quality. 1st time visit here and would definitely return.

First visit today but not our last. Lunch food was amazing. Good sized portions. Great choice of daily specials. Thoroughly enjoyed the posh bangers & mash and the steak, ale & mushroom pie. Even managed to squeeze in single scoop ice cream cones and some cakes to go.

Takes a few minutes to get your food but it is well worth it

We popped out for lunch and chose The Strawberry Bain instead of local pubs such as Tame Otter & The Green Man.. I'm so glad we did.. the food was amazing and plenty of it! I had the bbq chicken burger of the specials menu which was delicious, my partner had the goats cheese panini and again it was very tasty! The service made it for us, all the staff are super friendly and the chef took time to come and speak to us asking if we enjoyed the meal which was a nice touch. A family next to us were having the afternoon tea which again looked incredible.. we will definitely return and would highly recommend to friends and family! Thanks Strawberry Cabin 👍🏼

Such a lovely place to come with friends or family. The smell of the strawberries is amazing and the size of them is extraordinary. They're not to expensive and compared to the size and cost of store bought strawberries, very good value for money. They last very well and it's such an enjoyable experience picking them yourself. The staff are so friendly and this has become one of my favourite places to visit. It even has a lovely cafe with vegan options and is quite reasonably priced and tastes great. There's also a large children's play area with an inflatable tractor, small bouncy castle, play park and hay bales. Highly recommend 10/10

VERY VERY BAD PLACE Very bad service, they let me friend in when they didn't book a ticket but when i went, they did not let us in. Plus, we went there less than a week ago and did not book one, i do not recommend this place. Please find another place better than this and isn't OVERPRICED. You can get clean and fresh strawberries from a local supermarket but here they rot easily. They are also very rude and disrespectful. Thank you for listening and please take my advice. 😁

A very different experience this week to last. Having had a delicious breakfast with a friend last week, I returned today with my 2 children and my mum. Unfortunately, the food was not up to the same standard. My mum was unable to eat her toasted teacake as it was barely toasted and stale. I had poached eggs on sourdough toast again but it was nowhere near the standard of last week. A dissapointing visit today unfortunately.

First time here, good range of food options. Nice pot of tea but limited cake options when we visited. Will probably return for a meal in the future, more than likely after having visited Brookside Nursery which is just down the road.

Can't wait until next time! Farmhouse food, and a fruit farm, what more could you ask for!

Amazing food, staff couldn’t do enough for you. Easy parking and very accessible for my wife in her wheelchair. The food is second to none, well done to everyone in the kitchen.

It's hard finding a place to take our three boisterous young boys to eat, but the staff at the Strawberry Cabin are always on hand with pens and activity sheets and are very patient with young families. Our most recent visit was Sunday 19th December for the Breakfast with Santa event and I can hands on heart say, after ten years of taking my family to see Santa, this visit was our best yet. Santa and his elf actually took time to chat to the children - we weren't rushed at all! I also thought it was fantastic that Santa explained to the children that the present he would be giving them today was just an extra treat and what they asked for would be brought on Christmas Eve (provided they were good, of course! ) We have had tears in the past because the children misunderstood so I thought this was a fab way of avoiding that. The breakfast we had this morning was absolutely beautiful too, and such good value for money. Can't wait for our next visit!
