The egg fried rice was terrible very sticky and oily didn't taste right the special curry also so terrible also tasted very bland the prawn toast had no prawns in it just fried bread and seeds on top ..won't bother ordering again disappointed after hard day at work was hungry had to through it away

Ordered Singapore chow mein and salt n pepper chicken. Both were equally disappointing. Had to wait 40 mins for a collection aswell. If I lived in Lichfield and wasn't passing through I'd have taken it back.

Very bad customer service. As you enter, the person standing at the counter looks at you with a very cold look as if asking why you came.It's a place I've been going to for a long time, but I won't go anymore.

We were loyal customers of Hong Kong but it’s gone downhill. Noodles always smell and taste like bleach, sweet and sour sauce tastes like vinegar, chips are always rock hard and the beef is always chewy!

Carmen, is great always sorts out my food, any problems she sorts it for next time. One of the delivery drivers known as Paddy , is great , so helpful. food good, prices pretty good, shame its not a restaurant. Always my place to go to for a take a way. Just wished they had a menu on line.

One star is too much in my opinion for this take away, we have ordered from there about 6 times. I had food poisoning once, also sent my noodles back as they tasted and smelt of bleach! They exchanged these. The latest is they served us raw chicken! They offered to make it again, but I will not go there again if they think it's acceptable to serve raw chicken and not bat an eyelid, just offer to replace. I asked for money back I would avoid

Way to overaited not tasty at all and cost an arm and a leg

First time ordering for delivery. Ordered well done spare ribs which were done to perfection. Sweet and sour king prawn balls, egg fried rice. Everything was gorgeous. Highly recommended.

We have used this takeaway for a while and it been generally good but we started to notice a strange bleach-like flavour in the chow mein, we returned the last one and it was replaced by a less bleach-tasting version. My partner refused to use the place but I continued as my favourite dish was excellent, sadly on my last visit the chips gave me food poisoning, I know it was the chips as my partner had a few and she suffered food poisoning too. I dread to think of the cross-contamination happening there and will not be using it again.

After been let down by our regular Chinese takeaway in Brereton Rugeley, having to wait nearly over 2 hrs and food hadn't even been cooked!! Hong Kong came to the rescue, was told 40- 50mins and certainly kept to there word 😀 arrived within 40mins. Service was excellent, food was delivered hot, larger portions and extremely tasty, and alot cheaper. You will definitely be our New favourite Chinese takeaway 5-stars Thank you 😊

All my friends have said for ages how this is the best Cantonese food in Lichfield. Finally tried it tonight and they were right! Great prices and service and the food is soooo good!

Had it delivered to our boat on the canal, not a problem for them. Great portion sizes and great food. Chicken balls were the best batter we've had, light and crispy, not doughnut like and stodgy.

Great food, can never complain no matter what you have from the menu. It’s just a shame the woman behind the counter is always rude. She needs to find some manners. Looks at you like you aren’t welcome and ignores you whenever you speak to her no knowing where you stand. She needs to fix herself and take some lessons from the lovely man that is OVERLY polite to his customers!

BEST takeaway I've had in ages...the lamb was delicious!

Always had decent food from here until now. Crispy duck more like fatty duck. Half of it was inedible and thrown out. Pancakes like tissue paper, kept falling apart. Hubby said his boiled rice was in one big lump and beef was chewy and tough. Waste of money.

Takeaway salt and chilli chips and salt and chilli wings. Both were in plastic boxes which I feel sweat the chips out. Onions and peppers needed more cooking.

After having a disappointing experience at another Chinese takeaway, I decided I’d give Hong Kong a try before. We hadn’t been there before but was really impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. Everything was so tasty! I really recommend trying the BBQ ribs

Very good food and excellent service

We have used this place for years. It's been so consistent, always really nice. Until now. I had Singapore vermicelli. I've had this dish many times before, but not from here. It was like eating shredded wheat. It's supposed to be hot. No flavour. My wife had her usual, shrimp foo yung, normally excellent. Again, no flavour, so bland. The only thing we can think is that there was a new/different chef. We thought we'd found our 'forever' takeaway, but we must try elsewhere. Such a shame.

I've been to the prawn fried rice several times (my daughter's favorite, it's really prawns), and today I finally tried something else. The prawn fried rice maintains a good quality, has wok gas, and the prawns are so chewy👍👍👍 Dry fried beef noodles - regular, not too greasy👍👍 Stir-fried bones - so Hong Kong flavor, the whole family thinks it’s super authentic👍👍👍

I ordered sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style with egg fried rice. The rice had larvine in it (young maggots!!!!) Absolutely horrendous. Its put me off all take away food.

Ordered my choice and discussed with lovely lady the owner. Had food sent on to deliver and best quality received Behind screen watched them cleaning many times to keep best hygene. I've tried 3 different meals and I can't say I enjoyed any. I had special curry but it was mostly onions.

The best Chinese in Lichfield, food arrived piping hot, unlike a different takeaway we used to order from where everything would arrive cold because they drive around for over an hour with the food before delivering it and they would charge us a ridiculous amount to deliver. If only we discovered Hong Kong Takeaway before we wouldn’t have wasted money. Very friendly lady who takes the orders over the phone, delivery charge was very reasonable, arrived quickly unlike the other place that takes nearly 2 hours to deliver. Everything we ordered was delicious and the delivery driver very friendly!

Live in Sutton but was close to Lichfield so gave it a try, no regrets a fantastic meal and highly recommended. Worth travelling to Lichfield just for a take away!

One of the nicest Chinese takeaways in Lichfield would recommend the chicken chow mein and the crispy chicken in pineapple (Cantonese style) as well as the salt and pepper chilli chips

The char suii pork was so tasty, lots of rich gravy and a generous portion of Chinese cabbage included. Chicken with mushrooms delicious with lots of chicken and mushroom. Singapore rice noodles full of chicken, pork and omelette, green and red pepper. Delightful. Safe way of paying.

Went for our 'no cook Friday' treat and a treat it was, lovely king prawns, tasty tomatoe sauce and fried rice. Couldn't fault it, the chow main had the required smokey wok taste. All in all no complaints, didn't appear anyone else had any either as trade was swift in store and even more so with phone orders, this will be my go to from now on.

Delivered quick and hot very wouldn't change it for the world

The food was good but the service was really rude, when I rang up for a delivery I asked to pay on card and the woman sighed at me and told me she didn’t want to do that as it’s hassle for her but then when it came down to it it didn’t take long at all.

Para ocultar el vacío de mi existencia, me solía pedir una porción extra para el perro, pero ella está haciendo viejo y su digestión no es tan sólido como lo que solía ser.De todos modos, por £9.20 tenía un rollo de primavera, dulce y agria pollo, ternera con salsa de alubias negras, arroz y huevo frito. El rollo de primavera era del tamaño de un rollo de alfombra pero no sabe como porque estaba delicioso. Las principales comidas eran muy mucho como se esperaría, y porciones de buen tamaño.Pagué 1,20 libras extra y tenía que entregar. Estaba en mi casa en 20 minutos - me hubiera tomado tanto tiempo para poner mis zapatos y el coche.Este es, por mucho, mi favorito para llevar chino.
