Nice place, but when asking about nuts in the carrot cake the girl didn't know. Shouldn't rain their staff on anaphylaxis and its dangers.

This was a find! Friendly staff, fantastic food and great beer what more could you ask for? Oh that’s right…..dog friendly too. I’d definitely use this place again if I was around this area. Top marks all round 👍👍

Visited here and had a fantastic quiche and salad. I have been calling into this wonderful cafe about once or twice a year for a very long time. The owner and staff were really welcoming and the food was really lovely. It is great to have independent cafes like this to visit. I look forward to my next visit. Sylvia

Went here at 16:00 for a coffee and some cake only to be told all cakes on display were frozen ready for the next day. So we had one option out of everything we could see. What’s the point of staying open until 17:00 if you can’t offer what’s on the shelf!

We have been staying in the area and decided to try Shun Fat out. On our 1st visit we had a Cinese....egg fried rice, lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken balls. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes as the place was packed. Very reasonably priced and better than any other I've tasted. On the 2nd visit we had fishcake, chips and battered sausages. Again delicious. The staff are so friendly and happy. There was also good banter between the staff and the owner "Richie" (I think that is his name). I have no hesitation in recommending this place....A**

WOW what an amazing friendly ran little cafe even better breakfasts absolutely love coming to shobdon airfield with the kids and they love the hot chocolates we tend to most Wednesdays mornings now when kids are in school for our breakfasts and it's 100% worth it thank you too all the cafe workers see you soon

Awful service; slow, rude and incompetent don’t bother! There are so many better, faster and competent coffee shops in Hereford.

Arrived for lunch to read that they had already sold out of baked potatoes and only one type of quiche left which was £6.50 for a slice. Had to buy extras to go with it. It was only 12.50 pm. Not a lot of options left. Go out for lunch regularly and never found anywhere ‘sold out’ at that time. Will not be visiting again.

We’d gone to the cathedral to see the Mappa Mundi. Dating to about 1300, it’s the oldest surviving map of the world, as then known. And not just of geographical significance but, placing Jerusalem at the centre, of religious significance as well. The cafe is located just outside the room where the map is located and explained. It was lunchtime so, having fed the soul, it was time to feed the body. No hot food but a variety of “stuff with salads”. So that was a ham, pea and feta frittata and a cherry tomato and black olive quiche. Both very tasty and served with spoonfuls of each of the salads – mixed leaves, grated celeriac, cucumber, pasta, tomato and cous cous.

The friendly staff create a lovely relaxed atmosphere making this a great place to spend time with friends. The food is very good, great selection of cakes and ice creams. I would definitely go back.

Best Chinese food ever. £25 could of fed 4 people! Will now be our regular! All served boiling hot.

I dont normally do reviews, however, I want to give a huge shout out to the young woman that served me today. She was rushed off her feet, but was what only can be called exceptional. Surrounded by huffing people, a substancial queue, and snarking comments she was polite, calm and professional in what I observed was a thankless space. So I would like to say thank you for my lovely coffee and for all your efforts and energy. Youre an asset to a great team at Nero's Hereford and I really hope you feel valued as such.

Lovely atmosphere with very friendly staff welcoming one into what would appear to be a restaurant in France. You will not be disappointed

Sunday lunch, prebooked, so they knew exactly what we all wanted to eat. We were on time, but the food was very bland and disappointing. Meat eaters told me it was tough, both pork and beef. The roast potatoes were leathery. Other veg over-cooked. Generous portions, but who wants a lot of unappetising food? Was it all pre-cooked and left to be warmed up? The Goats cheese salad (V) starter was OK. The puddings were also large and went down well. The dining room was empty apart from us, on a summer sunday, which we thought spoke volumes... The staff were great, friendly and helpful. So we chickened-out of saying anything at the time, as you do.
