The restaurant offers a good menu. The food is well cooked and plentiful. It is spacious, clean and the staff are very friendly and efficient.

We had sandwiches to go for our walk, both very nice and tasty, and priceworthy. Lasted all day. Also two very nice ladies managing the place.

Have to say I do find this place better value the Gregg's. Better portions and generally cheaper Pleasant staff and the baguettes and hot savory food is always on point. Highly recommend trying this

We visited the Rose and Crown after a bit of stressful day. It’s v near mum’s house, we were hungry, tired and just needed some food and a drink. The two Andys were lovely, so welcoming and helpful. F

Beer garden was busy Saturday when we visited , staff friendly. Couldn't get into beer garden as it was full, had a quick drink, and left. They allow dogs in.
