Cracking little pub very sociable owner thanks 👍

This is a fantastic little pub with a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. I had lunch here, and the food was hearty and satisfying. The vibe is chilled, and the staff were really friendly. I also loved that it’s dog-friendly, which added to the welcoming feel. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

Very nice place, a good standard of beers and wines. Play the premier league matches.

Beer garden was busy Saturday when we visited , staff friendly. Couldn't get into beer garden as it was full, had a quick drink, and left. They allow dogs in.

Lovely place on gorgeous church street! Food was absolutely amazing, I had a chicken burger and you can tell it was cooked fresh, really tasty and the coleslaw was lush! My partner had scampi which he really enjoyed! He had a Guinness and says it was poured perfect. Came here after seeing reviews as a stop on a long car journey. Would definitely come back again. Lots of character, lovely staff :) thank you!!

Best pub in the centre of town! They have a lovely beer garden with umbrellas and plenty of space. Perfect for summer days, into the evenings. The staff are helpful and very friendly. Prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is joyful and fun. I love coming to the Litch.

A hidden-gem in some regards for people young enough to not know who Graeme Smith is. The effort Duran and Meg have put in to the outdoor offering is a spectacle that Hereford has been begging for! Duran and his ‘Queen’ could not have taken to the roles they have any better, and I speak on behalf of the whole of Herefordians when I say we wish them the very best. Thank you for being more than just bar-people, but friends and ears as well :) You will find success in whatever you do.

A lovely pub in the heart of hereford its located in the most beautiful street leading up to the cathedral so if your visiting hereford on your way upto or from the cathedral stop for a refreshment or a bite to eat

Brilliant Atmosphere at this independent pub. Duhan and Andy are the reason pubs like this do so well - welcoming, friendly and entirely personable people. Few pubs will welcome repeat customers in the same manner that the Lichfield Vaults do. Hats off to you all - keep rocking Duhan ma bro!

The Lichfield Vaults is an attractive, clean pub with friendly staff. The lunch menu is limited but the food I ate (vegetarian curry and chips) was simple yet tasty.

Just had to visit again on a Six Nations weekend. The pub was packed with rugby fans watching the game on the TV screens set up. Very friendly customers to chat with, the bar staff were excellent - friendly, attentive and remembered what ale I was drinking! Complimentary sausage and chips were provided to all customers between the two matches, which was very welcome. This is a must-visit pub, especially on rugby weekends but good at any other time also .

We didn’t eat here we stopped just for few drinks and they have a very friendly staff and local beers and drinks. You should try the local beers. The place is a very traditional pub with a plenty space for big groups of people in sunny and warm days you can sit outside the pub and enjoy the view of a very traditional street with small shops along the way. Prices are fair for what you get.

Whilst visiting Hereford we came across this Pub it’s well worth a visit great Beer and staff are very friendly will Definitely return when in Hereford Next

Decent pub full of rugby pictures nice pint but food wasn't on. Shame as I was hungry and slummed it in Burger King after.

We took my daughter and her American boyfriend here, while they were staying with us. They wanted a traditional British pub. The landlord was such a nice chap and came over to have a chat and welcome them to England. We didn't have food but would definitely go back there. The beer selection was good and the Sauvingnon blanc was delicious.

Had visited before and so being familiar decided to visit to watch the weekends rugby matches on the tv screen. The pub was full, seating and standing, some tables were reserved, so obviously popular. Great convivial atmosphere, friendly customers and staff. Very good service and complimentary snacks provided. A great pub!

Called in for a pint and reflection after attending the funeral if an old mate of mine. I used to frequent this pub as a regular from the late 60's to the early 80's and called in for a pint and to remember the good old days. Although the pub, like many over a period of years has changed, much of the interior is the same as it was back in the day. I wondered if I would see any of my old friends and aquaintances there but alas no. Instead, a couple of old geezers like myself popped in during the time I enjoyed a refreshing pint of real ale. The service was friendly and the choice of ales sufficient so I definitely wouldn't complain. I didn't try the food, but I have enjoyed it at other times in the last few years. All in all it's not a bad place and I will call in from time to time when I'm in town and fancy a break from the hustle and bustle of Hereford city center. It was also good to reflect on many happy times spent there during my youth ......👍😀

Friendly atmosphere and the bar lady has an iron fist against any antisocial behaviour, making sure that the pub is open and welcoming to anyone who wants to come along and relax. Great beer from fresh kegs and buzzing atmosphere

Lovley place to go for a nice drink and food. Very polite and lovley staff.

The place is very nice and the food was good, the service was also good. I scanned the QR code at the entrance and it took me to a menu with prices that were not correct, inside they have the menus with the correct prices.

We only stopped here for a quick pint and I must say, the hospitality of the Barman was absolutely top class! The establishment is very cozy and inviting! and the pint was just perfect 😋

I have just had the worst experience to date at a pub. The coke was flat the pint was served incorrectly. We asked for another and they replied with an angry response. I spent £5.50 on a beer and it was stale. I would avoid this place.

Had a smashing lunch at this lovely pub. It's dog friendly, reasonably priced and we received a warm welcome. We were just visiting Hereford for the day, we're glad we made it our lunch choice.

Cozy ambiance, really nice owner and staff! The music was superbbb 👌 Our only issue was there were no phone signals inside the pub and no free wifi as well.

We went to the Vaults A couple of weeks ago for lunch and decided to return. As you can see if we had the chili con Carne and the BLT respectively with some adult beverages. I have a really nice garden to sit outside and taking the weather. The staff is very friendly. I would suggest a visit.

Stopped in to use the loo at about 21H30..."walked" out at around 01H30.Music was great and so was the company.....and the Guinness.

Still a proper pub with proper beer, proper hosts, proper food. Good regulars, great location slap bang in the middle of the city.

I come here quite often with family and friends for a pint because of its central location and the lovely street it’s in, which is one of the nicest places in Hereford. It’s a classic pub done right - dog friendly, warm fires, real ales and nice staff / regulars. They used to let us hold events and meetings here too and were very welcoming. My only issue has been the food which, while great, is served at intermittent times so I’ve rarely had the chance to eat here.

Chilled out pub with outdoor seating

Church street is a lovely part of Hereford, well worth exploring for the independent shops, cafes etc The Lichfield Vaults is a lovely traditional pub in the heart of it. The choice of drinks was excellent as was the service and prices. We were in early evening and it seemed to attract a good crowd of regulars as well as workers from nearby offices. A massive plus for us oldies was the music being played, pure 80's on our visit, happy days!!

If you are a rugby fan this is the place to go in Hereford on match day. Cold beer, friendly staff and customers. Also in a great location near the town centre and the cathedral and river for a bimble about.

Stopped in for a bite of breakfast. A bit late maybe, 11ish. Food didn't start until 12. I ordered a traditional coffee, like gpa would have, sat and read until the sausage and mash came. Next to the coal fire, it was all very good. Staff was excellent, friendly and accommodating.

Friendly city centre pub, with good selection of ales. Can sit outside and people watch, or inside, especially if the rugby is showing on multiple TVs. Seems popular at most times.
